CHAPTER 31
ZENEVIEVA.
(A few minutes ago)
"It's your private dungeon!" She spewed and I couldn't contain the snort that escaped my lips.
"A private dungeon, are you both idle?"
"It's the"
"King's orders?"
I completed her statement and sighed, feeling fed up with the constant excuses to made my blood boil.
"You're one of a kind and a bully to others, so you're staying here for a while until the seven days are completely over!"
She retorted and I looked around the place again. It was located in the heart of the forest, the way to the pack was very tiny and narrow and one is likely to brush the branches of trees that lay carelessly along the path. It was so eerie and carried an ominous feeling.
I imagined the place to be dark compared to how it was bright now under this sun, it would be dangerous and this so-called dungeon was so fragile. It was like a wooden kiosk constructed for just one person.
"I'm not entering that thing."
"You will." She said coldly.
"We won't argue about this, just go and tell the king that I refused!".
She slapped me hard and I staggered, totally not expecting her outburst."
"Who the hell do you think you are? Huh? Unleashing useless authority when you're nothing but a rejected mate and a rogue! How dare you beat me up in that manner!" She yelled furiously and kicked me to the ground.
"You make me so stupid and weak in the presence of others with your stupid authority, you're no Alpha but you frequently act like one!! Get in there now!"
She was like an angry lion ready to pounce but without having the ability.
I bit my lips and rubbed my face and smirked without saying a word and took a walk to the little dungeon. The door was so small that I had to bend low to enter and when the guard came forward to lock it, I kicked the door hard on his face and he fell. I rolled out and threw punches on his nose and face until he passed out.
I turned to meet the silly chief maid but she fled without looking back.
I craned my neck and twisted my fingers, accessing the place and a saw long path.
I should use the opportunity to take a run before she returns with more guards. Taking a stroll wouldn't be that bad, especially since I missed swinging in the trees.
I shifted into my wolf and gave a loud cry of freedom before whooshing out of the place, keeping a straight pace and accessing my environment for any predator.
I Jumped on potholes and evaded traps on the way. It was an ethereal feeling, being at liberty at once from the hatred, suffering, insults, and incessant accusations.
I flapped branches and leaves on the way and followed every turn of the straight sharp path that leads to God's nowhere.
I kept running until -
Boom!!
I hit something so hard and bounced back in a fall.
Damn!!
I growled in anger and rose to see a heavy tree trunk kept in a vertical position and a different pair of eyes on me.
Shit! Shit! shit!
I don't even know where I am but I'm definitely in another pack, given the fact that I've run for such a long time without noticing.
I shook my body and turned back without a word, not even a howl. I need to get out of this place.
"Shift!" A deep voice stretched my ears and I halted.
It was an order.
I turned and stared at the others, they were smitten with my wolf.
The look on their faces said it all as they couldn't stop staring.
"Shift! Don't you dare run, there's another blocker ahead and you will fall terribly, I don't know how you got to evade the Others " He explained and I didn't turn back.
They were definitely under construction or whatever it was. I saw ahead of me heavy planks and fallen trees that laid neatly to block the path, which should explain the heavy obstruction on the way. It's so evident that they don't want anyone trespassing, or it will be messed up.
Well…I shifted back.
Totally naked now.
It's normal though, but it's always weird for me.
"Turn!" His voice wasn't laced with authority anymore, it was out of…surprise.
I turned slowly to face him and-

Our eyes got stuck.
I wasn't aware they were dropping angels on earth, did he miss his way down here?
He sulked in his breath and cocked his head as his eyes strayed all over my body.
He turned to them or whoever they were.
"Tell Mum I'll be back, I'll deal with…her. Go!" He commanded and they all bowed and left.
He came closer and my breath hitches, he tilted his head cockily and I literally forgot how to breathe.
"Are you lost, Princess?"
Shit!! He called me that, I couldn't speak, I just froze, staring at this beautiful peach in front of me, his Auburn hair was in a mess and his eyes were the sharpest green I've ever set my eyes on.
His eyes couldn't stop staring at me and I got really awkward and hit, blushing terribly.
He cleared his throat and took off his shirt slowly and my eyes strayed down to his fingers and he revealed those sinful works of nature before me. I gulped my saliva hard.
"Uhm…you should wear this for now." He said and threw it on my body, buttoning it up carefully and slightly brushing my breasts which made my senses fly. I shifted back at once.
This is bad, don't do this devil. I don't know this one, please.
"I'm sorry…for trespassing?" I said shakily and buttoned up the shirt really quickly.
"Wait!" He held my hands and pushed me closer, unbuttoning the first two buttons.
"What are you-"
"Who did this to you?"
He growled, his voice was cold and dead and I literally flinched.
"I have to go please".
"Who did this?" He said coldly and I swallowed.
"I fell"
A fat lie.
I got that cut from the guard while beating him up and he hit me deeply.
Without saying a word, he dragged me to god's nowhere in the woods.
"Sit and don't move, I'll be right back."
I nodded even though I knew that I was going to flee the moment he was gone.
"I'll find you so don't make a move !"
Well…. I guess I'm stuck.
