Chapter 54
Twinkle and Karan don't want their brother and best friend to fall for Kate and the story to become a love triangle. They can't let him fall for her as it is not healthy for their friendship. They can't tell him right away that Kate is Aaron's mistress as well because it will mess up everything and what if it has a bad affect on him. They both are again struck in a situation which they can't solve. It is like a bitter medicine struck in their throat which they can neither spit nor gulp. Karan goes and sits on the other side of the bed while Kate is sitting on the right side of the bed. 

Aaron didn't mind much as Max is like a brother to him and it is happiness for him if his Kate looks after him. Kate slowly makes him sip water because he has coughed which they didn't hear because of their thoughts in which they are lost but Twinkle didn't fail to notice the admiration in his eyes for her and they both looked at each other with fear. They already have soo many problems to face and they don't want another problem to add up to their already existing problems.

Karan tells Max while carassing his hair "Have a good sleep buddy. Take some rest. Your brain and your body needs rest. Your body and your brain, they both can't take all these, all of a sudden. You take some rest and we will come next morning again to meet you buddy. Take care" Saying this Karan places a kiss on his forehead and leaves from there followed by Twinkle who also places a kiss on her twin brother aka best friend's forehead with tears in her eyes who gives her a weak smile on his lips. 

She cups his face with tears flowing from her eyes and her lips trying to smile. She thanks him "Thanks for coming back to us my stupid brother. I Love you a lot and I missed you a lot. I can't just wait anymore to torture my brother by messing up his things like I used to do in the past" 

Hearing her Aaron remembers their past where they used to be very happy and used to tease each other with their antics and pull each other's legs. He miss those days. He just can't believe that they have betrayed him like that. How did their heart allow them to do such a thing with their own best friend is still something not understandable to him. He then looks at Max and thinks as to how he will react when he come to know what has happened after he went to the coma. Will he even forgive him for calling his sister names, humiliating her and for torturing her. Will he ever forgive him for slut shaming his sister whom he loves the most. Aaron cursed himself for not thinking about this before. He gets scared thinking what if Twinkle tells him about his atrocities and about his mental tortures. But then she deserved it and he is sure that his friend will not misunderstand him and will understand for sure as to why he has done all those things. He got worried thinking what if Twinkle and Karan manipulate Max against him but then something in his heart told him that they will never do such a thing with him and will definitely try to maintain the friendship between them as it will not only harm him but it will also have a very bad affect on Max as well. 

He watches as Twinkle gets up from the bed and leaves from there. She stops near him and tells him "Let's not say anything to my brother till he recovers. You are complaint to him about us and you can tell him as to how badly we have betrayed you but only after he recovers. Give him the time to recover for the sake of the friendship we had before" 

She is about to leave but stops hearing Aaron who says "Well we never had a friendship, if we had then you wouldn't have betrayed me soo cruelly and soo brutally. You both had never considered me your friend for at least once, that's why you both played with my feelings and Karan tried to kill me but yeah for the sake of my friendship with Max, I will stay silent and won't let him know about your betrayal" 

Twinkle hides the pain that seeped through her heart and thanks him "You can think whatever you want but yeah thank you for keeping the respect of your friendship with Max" 

Twinkle leaves from there without looking back at him while Aaron watches her leave. Kate frowns with confusion not understanding what they have talked with each other and for not being able to hear anything as they both were whispering and not talking loudly for anyone to hear. Aaron turns to Kate and seeing her watching him with confusion he raises his eye brows at her who turns her face away for getting caught by him. He looks at Max who is staring at him with confusion as well as he too didn't hear him. He tells Max "She was just asking to leave soon and not to pressurise you with our talks" Max nods slowly hearing him. Aaron places a kiss on his forehead asking him to take rest while Kate gives him a smile wishing him to get well soon and they b
oth leave from there together.
