Chapter 166 Plans And Ideas

“Well, personally, I am all for any type of help we can get. Not only that, but I’m not sure anyone else in this room understands this, but for some reason I can sense shit all the time. I have no clue what I’m doing, and so I usually just go with it when my instincts are screaming at me. You guys are all really powerful. I can feel it coming off of you.” They all just looked at each other than me, with small smiles on their faces.

I nodded. "Well, I told the Ilonians part of the problem they were having, as all of them are weak as shit now and can’t do anything anymore, is the whole fact that they don’t let other bloodlines into their little family group.”

“Any hybrid we have ever found is a stronger version than either of the original parents.” I nodded to that.

“Yeah, my father here is from a vampire and wolf combination, and he’s off-the-charts dominant, which I inherited, by the way. Then my mother was Ilonian, so I am the only one I have ever met who ended up with all three. The wolf and vampire thing didn’t show up until I was mated, but I wonder how much was already there waiting for the right time to come forward, and that is the whole reason why I had a full one of each rather than just the traits most human mates get. Then the Ilonian, I had a feeling, had been hanging out with me for a long time. Some things about growing up in foster care started to make more and more sense the longer she’s been around, and I’ve gotten to know her more.” They nodded, and I felt a wave of affection from her inside.

Heidi piped in, “You asked about how we can be Ilonian and Andalonian at the same time, since normally Andalonian blood is toxic for Ilonians. You are right in one sense, in that straight Andalonian blood into the body of an Ilonian acts like a slow-working poison. There is a way around that. If the two are mates, it causes some strange chemical reaction in the blood of the Andalonian, and it is no longer toxic, but only to the mate. This same chemical reaction is then passed to sperm or eggs, so mating is very possible.” I nodded, following along.

“The chemical reaction that makes the Andalonian’s blood no longer toxic for their mate also filters down to the children. Meaning, the chemical markers to make our blood non-toxic to ourselves are there. So, that is how we can be both at the same time without basically poisoning ourselves.” I shook my head.

“We all need to write all of this shit down. The books I have read about supernatural species are fucking crap. We need to have so much more out there. Now, of course, we need to make sure it’s safe before information is shared, however.” They all nodded.

Joshua jumped in, “We still want to help with all of this. So, tell us what you are planning to do and how we can help.”

Bishop just nodded. “We are planning on sending out investigative teams to the campuses where we last saw any type of recruitment or luring going on. We hope to catch them in the act and be able to then get them to take us where we can get a hold of the whole group of them, as well as possibly rescue others. There is some danger involved, because you would have to be in their control for a bit. I have also thought about trying to join their little gang like a spy and see what we could learn from that.”

I saw Samaria and Selenia look at each other slyly. “Okay, what are you two thinking over there with those looks?”

They both looked at me and smiled, then Selenia said, “We would be really good at the whole spy thing. We have an extra ability. We have discovered that a lot of hybrids end up with different powers that none of the non-hybrids have. Now, it’s not across the board; even some hybrids of the same kind, like all of us, have different extra abilities. We have the same because we are twins. We both have the ability to help someone do what we want. Now, it’s not like any kind of glamor or whatever shit you hear about or read about with vampires and the like. Ours is a strong suggestion, and the weaker the personality, the easier it is for us to push them in the direction we want them to go. So, we would be able to infiltrate the group fairly easily.” I was wide-eyed at that.

“That is seriously badass. What do you think, Bishop?” I turned and looked at him.

He was assessing them, and I could see him thinking about it. “It would be worth at least a try. I would want to have some enforcers close by so if you need help, there is someone around. We would probably fit you with some type of listening device, and that way we could keep tabs on you and make sure you were okay.” They both nodded.

“Okay, so I am going to do more scouring of college messaging boards and see if I can find fresher fishing expeditions. Bishop is sending out a team to quietly check out the campus where I found the last ones. So, we’ll see if those are still actively running or not.” Sean told all of us.

Bishop added, “If we find out that the boards are currently active, we’ll set up the operation to infiltrate and get all of that in motion. If they are not, we’ll just keep following leads until Sean finds something. If we find Dekon before that, great; if not, we’ll keep pulling strings and taking out all of his people until we get to him.”

Elijah jumped in, “We most definitely want to help with anything we can. So just keep us in the loop.” We all nodded.

My dad then added, “I really want to speak to all of you guys. With my ties while being an ambassador, I really think I am in a position, especially considering my daughter and all of the information we have found out about the Ilonians and her mother, to help create some type of help for hybrids. We need to brainstorm about what exactly that should be. I was thinking along the lines of a big school, training facility, perhaps making their own pack or whatever, just hybrids of all kinds. We’ll all talk about things and gather ideas about the best way to help all of us.” Everyone in the room was smiling at that.
