Chapter 33 Brutal Interrogation

Chapter 33 Brutal Interrogation

Jennifer led Klein and Carol toward the interrogation area.

They couldn't go inside the interrogation room itself, only stand in the hallway and watch what was happening inside through a one-way mirror.

There were four men inside the interrogation room, all arrested for dealing drugs on the street.

All four were handcuffed and sitting in chairs, with messy hair, dirty smudges on their faces, and clothes that were both filthy and torn.

All four were skinny, shifty-eyed types who obviously spent most of their time hanging around on the streets.

Jennifer pushed open the door and walked into the interrogation room. The four men immediately fixed their eyes on her.

Someone started tugging at his own clothes, someone whistled at Jennifer, throwing out crude comments, their eyes roaming all over Jennifer's body.

"This woman's got a great body."

"She's so hot, come play with us."

"That ass is amazing, what a waste being a cop."

"Let me touch it, and I'll tell you where the stuff is hidden."

Although they were handcuffed and couldn't use their hands, their words got dirtier and dirtier, deliberately writhing their bodies, staring at Jennifer's chest, waist, and thighs—as if trying to strip her naked with their eyes.

Jennifer stood there, expressionless. She'd heard this kind of talk more times than she could count—plenty of criminals had said similar things to her. By now, it barely registered.

The male officer beside her couldn't take it anymore and slammed the table hard.

"Shut up!"

The male officer pulled out his stun baton and flicked the switch.

The electric current made a "zzt zzt" sound, blue sparks jumping at the tip of the baton.

The four men finally quieted down a bit, closing their mouths and not daring to speak loudly anymore.

But their eyes still didn't move away, still scanning all over Jennifer's body with lewd looks, as if they wanted to devour her alive.

Carol stood outside the glass, her face red with anger.

"These guys are disgusting, their mouths are so filthy."

Klein said nothing, just curiously watched what was happening inside the glass. He wanted to see how Jennifer would deal with these people deliberately provoking her.

Jennifer gave the four men a cold look.
"Where did you hide the drugs?" she asked.

One of the men grinned, his smile oily and leering.

"Sleep with me, and I'll give you some product and tell you where it's hidden."

Jennifer didn't get angry. She picked up the record on the table and glanced at it.

The record stated that no drugs were found on any of these four men.

Jennifer's lips curved into a cold smile. She was pretty sure these guys had stashed the drugs somewhere inside their bodies.

Jennifer stepped over to the table next to her, picked up a pair of gloves, and slowly pulled them on.

"Since you like talking dirty so much, I'll help you take off your pants and give you a thorough examination."

As soon as they heard that, none of them looked pleased—instead, all four suddenly tensed up.

The arrogance on their faces vanished in an instant.

Several more officers rushed into the interrogation room. The four men tried to struggle, but were held down firmly on the table by the officers, who pulled their pants down to their ankles, leaving their bare asses sticking out.

Carol watched this scene through the glass, shocked enough to cover her mouth.

"Those guys... they didn't hide the drugs in their butts, did they?"

Klein's mouth twitched. He should have figured this out already.

Sure enough, a moment later, Jennifer finished pulling on her gloves and picked up a bottle of lubricant.

She hesitated for a second, then decided not to pour any onto her gloves—she wanted to teach these guys a lesson for deliberately provoking her.

"Don't come near me! Don't come near!"

"Let me go! You can't do this!"

"Stop! Please, please don't... ahhhhh!"

They struggled desperately, but were held down so tightly by the officers that they couldn't move at all.

Klein watched through the glass and, almost without thinking, reached up to cover Carol's eyes.

Carol guessed what Jennifer was doing and didn't struggle or push Klein's hand away.

She asked Klein quietly.

"How far has Jennifer gone?"

Klein's face showed a disgusted expression.

"She should be pretty much at the prostate by now... oh my God, her whole hand went in."

Inside the interrogation room, the four men's screams got louder and louder, sounding extremely miserable—loud enough to be heard throughout the entire floor.

Even the other officers nearby winced in sympathy, turning their heads away, unable to keep watching.

Before long, Jennifer walked out of the interrogation room.

She was holding four packets of drugs, each wrapped in plastic. The drugs were smeared with blood and other filthy residue.

Jennifer's face wore a victorious smile as she held up those four packages.

"Look, I found the evidence."

Klein finally understood why Carol had never brought up this close friend of hers before.

This was just too damn disgusting.

Jennifer held the four bags of drugs and spoke to the officer beside her.

"I need to log this evidence, so I can't stick around and chat."

Carol looked at the gloves on Jennifer's hands, stained with stuff, and instinctively stepped back, quickly shaking her head.

"I don't need anything, don't worry about us."

Just then, one of the men who had been lying on the table suddenly broke free from the officer holding him down.

He grabbed a metal chair nearby and charged at Jennifer.

His strength was enormous—as the chair swung through the air, it made a whooshing sound.

"I'm gonna kill you, bitch!"

Carol screamed in fright, covering her mouth with both hands.

Jennifer heard the sound and instinctively turned around, but it was too late to dodge.

At that moment, a gust of wind rushed past her.

The next second, the man flew backward at extreme speed, his whole body slamming into the wall and immediately passing out.

Jennifer froze. She clearly saw Klein's foot that hadn't yet been pulled back.

That man had actually been kicked away by Klein with one kick.

Jennifer walked up to Klein and nodded at him.

"Thank you. If it weren't for you just now, something bad would have happened to me."

Klein waved his hand dismissively, but he smelled the strange odor from Jennifer's gloves and immediately covered his nose with his hand.

The stench was overwhelming—a mix of blood and feces. It was disgusting both to look at and to smell.

At that moment, Will appeared at the police station entrance with Paul to pick them up and leave.

Klein quickly pulled Carol toward the door. He didn't want to spend another second with Jennifer.

He thought that he wouldn't have any more interactions with this disgusting female officer in the future.

But it turned out he was dead wrong about that.

Jennifer stood there, watching Klein walk away, and murmured, "What exactly did this guy do before he started working for Carol?"

After logging the evidence, Jennifer went back to her desk, pulled up the station computer, and entered Klein's information.

But she found his file suspiciously clean. Nothing stood out—on paper, he looked completely ordinary.

Jennifer's intuition told her that Klein absolutely couldn't be as ordinary as he appeared.

She kept digging through the system and suddenly came across something interesting.

She actually found Klein's rental ad in the housing listings.

The next day, while Klein was still sleeping, he suddenly heard loud knocking on the door.

The knocking woke him up. He came out of his room looking annoyed.

He walked to the door and opened it. The expression on his face immediately froze.

Standing at the door was Jennifer, wearing her police uniform with a paper bag in her left hand.

Klein stared at her in surprise.

Jennifer met his eyes, her tone very serious.

"Good morning, Mr. Gray. Is Carol up yet? I brought you guys breakfast."
