Chapter Two Hundred and Eleven.

Chapter Two Hundred and Eleven.
Ember's POV:

“Baby? Red?” I sighed in relief when I heard the voice of Asher. But then, I was still not feeling better.

“Someone should get my car!” He bellowed, but the noise from his voice went straight into my head.

“I….I'm….fine.” I tried to say, but the words were too heavy on my tongue. Then I blacked out.

“Are you sure she will be fine? Why is she not waking up?” I heard Asher say as I tried to open my eyes.

“She's okay. It's just stress, nothing too serious.” The female doctor said. I groaned internally. He was looking for something that would make me stop working at the garage. This was definitely a big reason for him to stop me from doing so.

Stress?

What the hell?

When did that even start? I've never been stressed a day in my life. Except for a couple of headaches here and there and probably panic attacks. But then, I'm always good.

This has to be the first time that I will land in a hospital for passing out from stress.

“Hey.” He called out. My movements caught his attention. He helped me to sit down.

“I'm fine.” I tried to assure him, but he was obviously not having it.

“You passed out while you were working, Red. That's not an attribute of someone that is fine.” He scolded me and I smiled.

“Don't smile now.” He continued. Then the doctor cleared her throat behind us and that called our attention back to her.

“Hummm, so I was waiting for her to be awake before I said this. Part of the reason you passed out was because of stress. The main reason is actually because you're two months gone.” She said and I cocked my head to the side not understanding what she's saying.

Asher has almost the same look of confusion that was on my face right now.

“Okay. What I meant is that, you're two months pregnant ma'am.” She beamed and my eyes widened.

“What?!” I said in shock. How is that even possible?

“That's not possible…” I said. Different kinds of feelings going on in my head and my whole body. That's not supposed to be possible. The doctor told me then when I was younger that I won't be able to give birth because my uterus was damaged beyond repair. So, how is it that I'm pregnant right now?

I rambled all of these things to her and she only smiled.

“There is always a slim chance when it comes to having a child no matter what. I noticed it in the scan I did when you were not conscious. The only thing that can happen right now is for you to take good and proper care of yourself.” She started to say a lot of things that I was not resonating with at all.

All through it all, Asher held my hand, putting my head on his chest as he whispered sweet nothings to me. Tears were running down my cheeks.

By the time we got back home, he made sure that every single thing that concerned me was looked after. No more strenuous activity. He did not allow me to go to the garage at all.

Anytime I stood up, he would stand with me too to ask if I needed anything. When I told him not to do things like that, he would say the dictionary said to take care of me.

The months I have used to stay at home gave me an insight on what I would use the money he gave me to do. Which was to open a new garage. It all seemed like a joke to me at first, but I started to implement my plans.

And in a matter of time, even though I was already heavy with the baby, I had the new garage done. Which I name Cross and Vale motors.

Asher supported me in ways that I did not expect and it was quite fascinating to me even though I was already used to him being around me.

He did something I still consider very ridiculous. He stepped down from the position of the president of the club. When I asked him why, he said he wanted to concentrate on me and the baby. I told him that he did not have to, but nothing could change his mind.

We moved into the loft that I made on top of the garage. It was quite big and comfortable. He did not press me to do anything for him, just to stay with him forever.

The garage has been going on very well. Better than I expected. The people who work there are non problematic people and Charlie overlooked everything while I was still pregnant.

“Do you really think this is a good idea?” I asked him as I climbed onto the Harley. He laughed out and I pouted.

“You're so adorable.” He pinched my cheek. “You were the one who brought up this idea in the first place. Why are you getting scared now?” He teased me and I rolled my eyes.

“I wanted to do something different. And besides, I don't exactly know how to ride a classic Harley.” I shrugged, making sure that I was balanced on the Harley so as not to fall off.

“Yeah. You can do plenty of other different things, Red. But you chose to learn to ride a Harley while you're pregnant with our baby.” He grunted. “Not like I can deny you anything.” He completed.

“Exactly. You do whatever I want you to.” I said and I laughed. He has spoiled me rotten like that and I love it. I'm used to it already.

“Yeah. Whatever you say baby. Let's get started. Nothing too serious though.” He said and started with the basics. I rolled my eyes.

“I know all of those things already. I just want to know the main part.” I groaned.

“Trying to outdo your teacher, no?” He snickered.

“Whatever.”

“What do you think about the gender of our baby?” He asked me suddenly after a few minutes of me riding around the open space.

“Why?”

“If it's a boy, we'll name him Leo.” He said. And I laughed.

“What if he was not born in August?” I teased.

“That does not mean now, does it?” He asked.

“It does. We need to do these things accordingly. And according to the calculation I was given in the hospital, there is a possibility I will give birth in September.” I told him.

“It's still gonna be Leo.” He said and I laughed.

“What if she's a girl though?” I asked gently, looking him in the eyes as I asked him. He was quiet for a while before he answered me.

“She will raise hell. Just like her mother.” He said looking at me lovingly. “We'll name her Savannah.”

He said and kissed the top of my head. I leaned into him, feeling so fulfilled.
