Something That Belongs To Me
Sandra quickly pulled Tanya's body out from under the bed and carried her out of the room. She left through the back door and Colby knew that she had come in through the back gate. Someone must have opened it for her.
He sent the important parts of the footage to Henry and sent him Sandra's pictures, address, phone number and every other information he felt would be useful to Henry.
The police chief quickly sent some officers to Sandra's house and began trying to track her location using her phone number and satellite. Colby paced up and down restlessly as he waited for Henry to get back to him.
He tried calling Sandra's number so many times but could not get through to her. He regretted leaving Tanya all by herself. He should have been there with her or gotten her a bodyguard at least. If anything happened to Tanya, he would never be able to forgive himself.
Their wedding was already twenty minutes behind schedule and calls were coming in but Colby ignored them because he wasn't in the mood to explain anything to anyone.
The police chief called him five minutes later and said, "Sandra is on the move. She seems to be heading towards a lake but I've sent her location to your phone. If her route changes, I will let you know. I have sent some officers to arrest her, don't worry, your wife will be fine."
Colby thanked Henry before quickly running out of the house. He kept wondering why Sandra was taking Tanya toward a lake. Different scenarios kept playing in his mind, filling him with dread. He swore that if Sandra harmed Tanya more than she already had, he was going to kill her.
Tanya finally opened her eyes. Her head was aching and she had no idea where she was. After a few minutes of disorientation, she recalled she was supposed to get married to Colby today but someone attacked her. She gasped in fear as she suddenly realized that her life was in danger.
She was lying in the back seat of a moving car and her hands were tied at her back. Her mouth was also covered so she wasn't able to make a sound.
She tried to sit up but felt so weak that she could barely move. In the end, she remained in the same position until the car stopped moving.
The door opened and she noticed that a girl had kidnapped her. She was putting on black jeans and a green top. When Tanya looked up and saw her face, her eyes widened in surprise.
Sandra quickly pulled her out of the car and led her toward the lake. Tanya pushed Sandra with her shoulder and tried to run away but with her hands tied behind her, she could not get far.
Sandra caught her and slapped her face so hard, causing Tanya to fall on her back. Tears fell from Tanya's eyes and she tried to plead with Sandra to spare her life but she could only make muffled noises because her mouth was covered.
Sandra pulled her by her hair and said, "Do you know why you are going to die today? It's because you went after something that belongs to me.
For years, every single thing I did was to make Colby mine. I even went under the knife to look like my late sister but you came out of nowhere and took him from me. Do you think I am going to let you get married to Colby, the love of my life?
Once I drown you in this lake, no one would be able to find your body. Colby will be so heartbroken and will believe you ran away and left him. I will swoop in and comfort him, one thing will lead to another and finally, Colby will get married to me, just as it should have been right from the beginning before you came in and seduced him."
Tanya began to shiver. She didn't want to die and she knew that Colby would be devastated without her. He had told her the truth about Sandra before. She knew Sandra had feelings for Colby but she never expected that she would go as far as killing her just to make Colby hers.
As Sandra pulled her up from the ground, Tanya still refused to give up and kneed her between her legs. Sandra screamed in pain while Tanya began to run. Sandra chased her and because Tanya kept looking back, she ended up falling on the grass.
Sandra pulled her by her hair this time and dragged her toward the water. Tanya tried to resist but in the end, Sandra pushed her into the lake.
