Chapter 117

Chapter 117

All they did was eat and play, and they all had siblings at home. Otherwise, why would they be hanging out here?

Kevin was here because they often called him.

Kevin was a bit more laid-back, not so serious and authoritative. Although he had a cold personality, at least he could find common ground with these rich kids.

In contrast, those who were actually inheriting family businesses were all serious, talking about making money, futures, stocks, and such.

They couldn't join those conversations.

That's why they liked to hang out with Kevin.

Kevin didn't mind.

The main reason he hung out with this group was because of their fathers.

To build connections, he lowered his standards and befriended them.

Moreover, to maintain his image as a carefree playboy, Kevin had to act lazy in front of his father.

Besides working at the company, he had to spend a fixed amount of time at clubs to make his father believe he wasn't fully committed to work.

It was just a way to mislead Isaac.

The room fell silent for a moment.

A man with dyed hair glanced at Kevin, coughed, and said, "I heard you have a stepmom who's pretty good-looking, about your age. When are you going to bring her around and introduce her to us?"

"Your dad's still going strong, having so many kids outside. Who knows when the Smith family assets will come to you?"

His tone was sarcastic.

Kevin looked at his phone without looking up and said, "What do you mean, come to me? The inheritance?"

"Yeah, you have so many brothers competing with you. Your old man is getting on in years, and he has mistresses outside. If your stepmom wants to climb up the ranks and has another kid with your dad, you won't be the youngest anymore."

He wasn't wrong.

He was the youngest of Isaac's sons, not even twenty-five yet.

If his new stepmom had a child, it would likely replace Kevin as the youngest in Isaac's eyes.

Kevin's expression remained calm as he glanced at the man speaking, "With all the chaos already, another kid would just add to the fun. I actually hope my stepmom has one, so she can take some of the burden off me."

Kevin's words were smooth. The man with dyed hair couldn't find fault with them but felt Kevin was mocking him.

His face darkened, and he stopped paying attention to Kevin.

Knowing he couldn't outsmart Kevin, the man with dyed hair turned his attention to the girl in his arms. She had big, clear eyes and a tall, slender figure, but she was stiff with fear.

He roughly grabbed her chest.

The others started picking the remaining girls.

The room quickly descended into chaos.

The girl, realizing what was happening, slapped the man's hand away from her chest. "Don't touch me!"

The man with dyed hair sneered, his anger from Kevin's earlier mockery boiling over. He slapped the girl hard across the face.

She stumbled back, crashing into a table, which shattered.

She lay on the ground, bleeding slightly and in pain.

The man stood over her, his eyes dark, and yanked her hair. "You're selling your body, so stop pretending to be pure. You think you're worth something? You're lucky I even looked at you."

With that, he tore her clothes.

Meanwhile, Rachel was still looking for Curtis's daughter.

She turned to the manager for help.

The manager, seeing Rachel's anxious state, hesitated before saying, "Who are you looking for?"

"I'm looking for Sarah Robinson."

The manager's face darkened at the name. "There's no girl by that name here. You must be mistaken."

Rachel tried to argue, but the manager called for security to remove her.

Rachel, unfazed, said, "I'm Isaac Smith's woman. Are you sure you want to throw me out?"

"Isaac Smith?" The manager's expression changed, and he made a call.

After confirming with the staff outside, Rachel was released.

The manager waved the others off. "Why are you looking for Sarah?"

"I need to ask her something."

"Without Mr. Smith's permission, I can't let you see her," the manager said lazily.

Rachel's lips tightened, "Mr. Smith's permission?"

"He said no one is to see Sarah, and no one is to know she's working here."

Rachel's eyes narrowed.

They wouldn't let her in, but she was determined.

"Then take me to Kevin Smith. I need to see him."

"Mr. Kevin Smith?" The manager smirked, "You know Mr. Kevin Smith too?"

Rachel didn't respond.

The manager sighed, "Fine, I'll take you. Just don't cause trouble and disrupt our business."

He led Rachel to a private room.

Rachel stood at the door for a moment before the manager opened it, signaling her to enter.

Inside, she saw the scene.

The man with dyed hair was nearly done tearing the girl's clothes, her breasts on full display.

The girl was begging for mercy, pleading with the man to let her go.

"Please, let me go. I don't belong here. I was tricked!"

Rachel's eyes locked onto the girl.

She recognized her from the files Daisy had shown her.

Her expression darkened, and she strode into the room, pulling the man off Sarah.

Kevin looked surprised to see Rachel, clearly not expecting her there.

Rachel grabbed a bottle from the table, ready to smash it over the man's head.

"Who the hell are you?" The man, startled, backed away.

Rachel, not wanting to reveal her identity, said, "I'm her sister."

The manager, hearing the commotion, rushed in and pulled her back.

Rachel glared at him.

"Who the hell are you? Didn't you say you knew Isaac?"

Rachel didn't answer, pulling Sarah up to leave.

The manager and his men blocked her path.

Rachel stood still, looking at Kevin for help.

Kevin watched, arms crossed, curious to see how she would handle it.
