The bar was just a stone's throw from the branch office, nestled in the heart of a bustling commercial district, right next to a huge shopping mall.
Across from the mall was this bar. Catherine and Calista strolled in, grinning from ear to ear, made a beeline for the counter, and ordered a couple of cocktails.
Catherine spotted me and asked what I wanted to drink.
"Did you forget? I'm a bodyguard now. Bodyguards don't drink on the job," I whispered in her ear.
Catherine rolled her eyes. "Come on, it's just a bit of fun. Don't be such a buzzkill."
"Of course I'm serious. Go have fun with your friend. I'll be right here, keeping an eye on you," I replied with a smile.
Catherine gave up trying to convince me and turned back to chat and drink with Calista.
I had no clue what two women could talk about for so long, but they yapped for three straight hours, right until the bar closed.
Empty glasses littered their table; they must've downed at least twenty drinks each.
The staff couldn't clear their glasses fast enough.
Catherine was so hammered she could barely stand. She tried to get up from her chair, but her legs were like jelly.
If I hadn't caught her in time, she would've hit the floor.
Catherine turned to me, weakly pointing a finger. "Who... who are you?" she slurred, her voice thick with booze. "Why do you... look just like my boyfriend..."
Catherine was now in my arms, just inches away.
If I pulled her a bit closer, I could kiss her.
But this was a public place, and she was still drunk. I didn't want anyone thinking I was taking advantage, so I held back.
I held her and found Calista, who was either asleep or passed out drunk, slumped over the table.
I tapped her arm and said, "Wake up, the bar's closing; time to go home."
After tapping her three times, Calista didn't budge.
Compared to Calista, Catherine was still somewhat conscious. She leaned on my shoulder and softly said, "You... call her bodyguard... Her phone can be unlocked with Face ID, and it's in her suit pocket, easy to get."
Her hot breath tickled my ear, making me shiver.
Annoyed, I looked at Catherine, ready to scold her, but she had already fallen asleep on my shoulder, her breath warming my neck.
I felt sweaty all over. But Catherine, the troublemaker, seemed perfectly comfortable. I couldn't tell if she was really asleep or faking it.
I gave her a light smack on the butt and pinched her, gritting my teeth. "Just wait, I'll deal with you when we get back!"
No way was I letting her off easy tonight!
Catherine whimpered a bit, tempting me even more.
I was already hard. I couldn't hold back any longer; I was about to explode!
I quickly brought Catherine over to Calista, found her phone in her pocket, and unlocked it using Face ID under the table, then quickly contacted the first person on the list, labeled Victor Robinson.A guy picked up the phone.
"Calista, what do you need at this hour?" Victor's voice was deep and calm.
"Hey, I'm her partner's boyfriend. She's drunk at a bar in the business district. Can you come get her?"
There was a brief pause, then he said, "Alright, I'll be there soon. Please wait."
"Sure thing," I replied.
The call ended quickly, and I sat on a bar stool, holding Catherine in my arms as she sat on my lap.
She curled up like a child, her cheek against my chest, clutching my collar, sleeping peacefully.
Holding her, feeling her soft and sweet presence, I was overwhelmed with happiness.
Ten minutes later, Victor rushed into the bar in his pajamas.
He saw Calista sleeping soundly at the front desk and checked on her, relieved she was just asleep.
I immediately picked up Catherine and went to meet him.
"Hey, you must be Mr. Robinson, right?"
"Yeah, and you are?" Victor looked at me, puzzled.
"I'm David Jones, the guy who called you. What's your relationship with her?"
For Calista's safety, I needed to clarify things.
"I'm her bodyguard." Victor glanced at Calista with mixed emotions, then continued, "But I was dismissed because I developed feelings for her that I shouldn't have."
Oh man, the game between Catherine and me today seemed to have turned into a real-life drama for them. And their ending didn't seem too great.
"Listen, let me give you some advice. Happiness is something you have to fight for, not run away from. If you run, you'll just watch your beloved woman end up with someone else." My words were blunt, but the message was worth considering.
Although I didn't know what had happened between Victor and Calista, as a man, I felt I had to help him out.
After speaking, I didn't care what Victor thought, and I just left the bar with Catherine.
While waiting for Victor, I had already arranged for Jane to send a car to pick us up.
Jane personally drove to get us tonight. I sat in the car with Catherine in my arms, not letting go.
Jane's driving skills were top-notch, fast and steady. We arrived at the hotel's underground parking lot in no time.
I carried Catherine out of the car and took the elevator to the room.
The first thing I did when entering the room was to undress myself, then carry her into the bathroom for a bath.
Considering Catherine's current drunken state, I used the bathtub to bathe her, putting her in and turning on the cold water.
As soon as the water flowed into the tub, Catherine shrank back from the cold and hugged my warm arm.
After the water almost reached her pussy, I switched to hot water.
To prevent the hot water from scalding her, I moved her legs out a bit, pressing them against the cold bathtub wall.
Catherine naturally climbed onto my neck, burying her face in my neck and breathing evenly.
