I raised an eyebrow, giving her a playful look.
'Is she flirting with me?' I wondered.
"I'm willing to work for you for free," I said, trying to keep a straight face.
"But how can that be? You'll mess up the market."
"Well...," I took a step closer, leaned in, and whispered in Catherine's ear, "I'm afraid what I want, you might not be able to give."
"What?" Catherine raised an eyebrow. "You need to tell me."
"Would you come back tonight and let me have my way with you on the carpet?" I said in a low, magnetic voice.
Catherine blushed, too embarrassed to look at me. She stared at her feet, avoiding the glass in front of the elevator.
Seeing her shy and blushing, I couldn't help but find it amusing.
Soon, the elevator reached the underground parking lot.
Jane had already driven the car to the elevator entrance and opened the door, waiting for Catherine.
Catherine and I got into the car together.
When Jane saw me, she was stunned.
"When did he get here?" she asked.
Catherine glanced at me, blushing again, and turned her face towards the window. "He came last night, don't mind him, just drive."
"Okay," Jane nodded, signaling the driver to start the car.
Jane was still puzzled by my sudden appearance, sitting in the back, looking at me and then at Catherine.
I couldn't resist Catherine's allure, so I reached out and placed my hand on the seat.
When no one was paying attention, my hand slowly inched its way towards Catherine's leg, like a caterpillar creeping along a leaf.
When my hand reached near her thigh, Catherine immediately slapped it away, giving me a stern look, indicating to behave in front of others.
But that didn't intimidate me at all. Instead, I boldly placed my hand on her thigh.
Her legs were so slender that my palm could easily hold it in one hand.
I simply held her leg, massaging it with my fingers.
Seeing that I wasn't doing anything else, Catherine gradually relaxed, leaning back against the seat.
As she relaxed her guard against me, I started teasing her again.
I slowly moved my palm towards the root of her thigh, just a short distance of two or three fingers away from her pussy.
Catherine immediately reacted, tightly grabbing my hand to stop my movements.
I looked at her teasingly, feeling satisfied even when she glared at me.
"Alright, alright, you rest, I won't touch you anymore." With that, I withdrew my hand and didn't touch her again.
Catherine stared at me for a few seconds, then, seeing that I really had no other intentions, she relaxed and turned her head to take a brief rest.
The hotel was not far from the branch office, and we arrived in a twenty-minute drive.
I got out of the car first, playing the role of her bodyguard, standing by the car door with one hand on the roof to prevent her from hitting her head, and another hand in front for her to hold onto as she got out of the car.
Catherine first peeked her head out, then grabbed my hand, took two steps down with my support, and only then did I retract my hand and follow her, keeping less than two feet between us.Even when Catherine walked into the meeting room to discuss business with the partner, I was right behind her.
Her partner was a young and beautiful woman.
"Catherine, good afternoon." The woman stood up when she saw Catherine, extending her hand for a handshake.
"Good afternoon, Calista." Catherine immediately exuded a strong presence, the epitome of a successful businesswoman, without any hint of the shyness she had when we were alone.
This side of Catherine was quite rare for me, but it fascinated me, and I couldn't help but keep my eyes on her.
Calista Campbell noticed me, recognizing my expression as that of an enthusiastic fan staring at his female star, filled with admiration and adoration.
"It seems your assistant really loves you, his eyes are glued to you even during a business meeting," she joked.
Catherine followed my gaze, saw my adoring look, and smiled happily. "He's not my assistant; he's my boyfriend."
When I heard this, it took me a moment to understand her meaning. Was she announcing me to others?
It felt good to be acknowledged by her.
"It seems he really loves you, so I'll be waiting for the wedding invitation," Calista wished.
Only then did I notice this woman. She was wearing white work attire, with wide-legged pants that could fit two legs in each.
She must have known Catherine's lucky color for the day and chose to compromise for Catherine's sake.
Both Catherine and she saw each other's sincerity, so the project went smoothly.
Calista warmly extended an invitation, "How about going out for a drink? Just to celebrate our pleasant cooperation and wish you two lovebirds a long and happy relationship."
Catherine didn't say anything, her gaze shifting to me, as if seeking my opinion.
I pursed my lips, continuing to play the role of a bodyguard, not speaking, but nodding slightly in response.
Catherine immediately turned to Calista and replied, "Sure, when and where do you suggest?"
"Let's go now, there's a bar with great drinks nearby, and I'm a VIP there," Calista said.
"Okay," Catherine nodded.
She and Calista got into the business car together, chatting and laughing as if they were very good friends.
I followed not too far behind, able to hear their conversation clearly.
Calista even glanced back at me, leaving me a bit puzzled as I immediately heard her voice. "Is your boyfriend mute? He hasn't said a word all afternoon."
Catherine chuckled, "No, he's not. My boyfriend has a very nice voice. He's just not able to talk right now as he's acting as my bodyguard."
"Bodyguard protecting the employer," Calista muttered, "You two have quite a few tricks up your sleeves."
"Don't talk nonsense, we're very serious between us," Catherine quickly defended, blushing.
Calista stared at her for a moment and whispered, "Making the famously composed Ms. Price blush in a second, it seems quite fake."
"If you don't believe it, forget it," Catherine said playfully as she bumped Calista's waist. Calista lost her balance, took two steps to the side, and pulled Catherine along with her.
And I silently followed behind them.
