Chapter 410 - My Husband, My Secret Lover

Stela Walker POV

Taking Hayden's arm, I helped him walk downstairs, followed by the three children. Not needing to talk to each other, we cooperated very well and knew when the other would take a step or stop. Soon, we got to the second floor and went to the first floor by elevator.

When we arrived at the dining room, I helped Hayden sit in the chair again and heaved a sigh of relief. After that, I told the three children to keep Hayden company and then ask a servant to fetch the wheelchair. After finishing all these things, I was tired. But meanwhile, I was happy that I could finally do something for Hayden.

"Miss Walker," Hayden suddenly called me. Forcing himself not to look at me, he said with an uneasy look, "Take a seat and have a rest. We will set off after breakfast."

"OK," I said and sat at the table.

When the children saw that the relationship between their parents had eased, they were overjoyed. I then remembered that they hadn't washed up so I took them to the bathroom.

When I stood up, I took a deep look at Hayden, wanting to say something but not doing so on second thought.

In my opinion, our current relationship was too embarrassing. The two of us had known for so many years and used to be a couple. In this case, we couldn't take each other as strangers at all. We also couldn't pretend that nothing had happened and become a loving couple again.

......

After breakfast, Luke asked the driver to park the car on the porch of the villa and then he put the wheelchair in the trunk. Feeling much relieved, he said to me, "Stela, take good care of Mr. King. The seats are limited. I'll stay at home and won't go with you."

I was settling my two daughters in the children's seats. After doing that, I asked Aelius to sit next to me and then said to Luke, "OK. Don't worry, Uncle Luke."

I hadn't intended to take the children with us. However, the children insisted on going to the hospital with me and Hayden, so I had to agree to their request.

Sitting in the car, the three children simultaneously waved to Luke and said in unison, "See you, Grandpa Luke. We'll be back soon."

Looking at the adorable kids, Luke couldn't help smiling. Even Hayden, who always showed a cold look, also smiled and looked at the kids with his eyes full of gentleness.

The driver then drove the family of five to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital, the driver took out the wheelchair and I helped Hayden sit on it. Considering there were too many people in the hospital, I told the children to stay close to me and asked Aelius to take care of his sisters. Then I took Hayden to the doctor's office at the department of orthopedics with Hayden's medical records.

The doctor was a fifty-something orthopedic expert. After rolling up Hayden's trousers, he checked on his legs and couldn't help but frown. "Didn't I tell you that you can't walk in your current condition? Your bone which hasn't recovered from the fracture is dislocated again."

Hearing this, I turned pale immediately and asked, "Doctor, is it serious?"

"It's not serious. I'll relocate the bone for him. Did he do anything dangerous that caused the bone dislocation?" The doctor said as he looked at Hayden and me up and down.

Suddenly, he thought of a possibility and a meaningful look appeared on his face. Then he cleared his throat and said euphemistically, "I know you young people are always full of passion and lose control of yourselves easily. But you'd better restrain yourselves for the sake of his legs. You already have three cute children and don't need to be in a hurry to have the fourth one."

Standing beside him, I explained with an embarrassed look, "Doctor, it's not what you think."

"Don't be shy," the doctor said and looked at Hayden and me meaningfully again. "No matter how good your relationship is, you should control yourself before he recovers. Besides, don't sit on his legs or have too many intimate contacts with him in case his legs get hurt again."

Seeing the conversation go off on a tangent, Hayden said helplessly, "Doctor, you misunderstood us. My bone dislocation has nothing to do with her. I accidentally dislocated it last night."

However, the doctor didn't believe him at all.

Sitting on the sofa of the office, Aelius, who heard the conversation among the adult, looked at Hayden and me up and down and nodded repeatedly as if thinking about something. Beside him, Yvonne and Christina were confused and couldn't understand what the doctor had said just now.

Out of curiosity, Christina ran to me and held my hand. "Mom, did the doctor mean that you can't touch Dad?"

"It's not that she can't touch your Dad. I just asked her to be careful not to make your Dad injured again," the doctor said to Christina with a smile and handed a candy to her. To ease the embarrassing atmosphere, he changed the topic and said to me, "I saw you two on the news before. Mr. King carried you in his arms at his grandfather's birthday party. My granddaughter always says she envies you having such a good husband. You two are a perfect match."

I didn't expect the doctor could recognize them. Hearing his words, I smiled gently and said, "Thank you."

Speaking of Grandpa Gary's birthday party, Hayden didn't say anything, falling into the memory.

Looking at Hayden and me, the doctor continued with a smile, "A loving couple like you really should restrain yourselves when one of you is injured. I have checked on a young man whose bone was dislocated before. When he almost recovered, he lost control of himself when hugging his girlfriend affectionately. As a result, his bone was dislocated again."

Knowing that it was useless to explain to the doctor, I nodded and said in embarrassment, "I see... I will be careful in the future."

Satisfied with my attitude, the doctor added, "I didn't mean that you can't interact with each other intimately. It is inconvenient for him to move, so if you two really..."

Knowing what he was going to say next, I quickly covered Christina's ears. Sure enough, the next moment, the doctor said, "If you two really have any physiological need in that aspect, you can take the initiative to satisfy the need.."

After he finished his words, there was an awkward silence in the office. Hayden was speechless again and looked at the doctor with mixed feelings while my face was much redder.

At this time, a soft childish voice came. "Mom, what kind of need makes you and Dad look so worried?" Yvonne asked.
