Chapter 28 Chapter 14 (ii)
Fae
He laughed, though he was frowning deliberately, too. “Is that a problem? You don’t look happy about it.”
“I’m not supposed to have a favorite,” I mused aloud, resisting the urge to nip at him again. “It’s going to make this complicated.”
A moment of silence followed. Then he leaned down and kissed the curve of my shoulder, and I knew he immediately understood what I was saying. “We’re past that point. It’s already complicated.”
“Really?” I nervously asked.
“I have my favorites, too. And I really, really would miss them if you’re not there.”
My face lifted to look at him. “What?”
“First is this.” His index finger touched and traced both my eyebrows. “I’ve never seen such sexy woman brows. I didn’t even know I liked brows. But these ones above your intelligent, pretty eyes... they get me all the time.”
“My eyebrows turn you on?”
He nodded, smiling. “Yes.”
“Really? That’s weird.”
He chuckled. “Really. I love everything about your face, but for some reason, your eyebrows have a special place in my heart. I love looking at you because of them.”
“Not my lips? Really?”
“Ahh...” He leaned down. “Your lips... are my favorite of yours to kiss.” He emphasized his words with a gentle kiss, followed by another. “Sometimes,” he added, his lips barely brushing against mine. “When I kiss you and I can’t stop...” Another kiss, longer and more passionate, left me breathless and wanting more. “I forget that I like other parts of your body.”
His words sent a shiver of pleasure down my spine, and I felt a surge of desire coursing through me again. And this time, his kiss was longer, lingering. I kissed him with all the feelings he had stirred within me. And I thought more, if I was going to be honest to myself.
The intensity of his touch and the way he looked at me left no doubt about his desire. As I caught my breath, I gathered the courage to ask him a question that had been lingering in my mind.
“Is it always like this with you? When you’re with a woman, I mean? Are you always like this… with your lovers?”
He shook his head, his eyes filling with the familiar sincerity. “No. This intensity? Like I said, I’ve liked you for a long time but I couldn’t act on it because I knew you wanted Carl. I haven’t felt anything like this with anyone else, Fae. I promise.”
A mix of emotions washed over me. There was also a tinge of regret for missed opportunities. To be liked by Jigo? That’s luck… a hell of a good opportunity.
He continued, “I didn’t hold back completely. I dreamed about you, imagined you. Now that it’s real, I realize that what I imagined were fanciful imageries. You’re much better in reality… and I can’t get enough of you.”
His admission left me feeling dazed, vulnerable, and desired. I also couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief. This connection felt different… special. It wasn’t just about physical attraction, but also emotional closeness.
I chuckled softly at his comment about Carl. He said Carl was an idiot for not seeing what he had in front of him. But I never knew I could be like this, too. Maybe because I was with Jigo, and he’s bringing this out of mr. “Thank you,” I said, my voice filled with gratitude. “Thank you for making me feel good about myself.”
Jigo smiled, his eyes filled with affection. “Also...” He paused.
“What?”
He watched as a pendant, made of gray metal on a gold chain on his neck, fell when he turned to face me. He used to have a small male earring singly adorning one ear. But it was gone now. He had the signature gold watch still on his wrist. He had no time to take it off because we just only thought of getting naked. “Also,” he continued, his hand gently caressing my cheek, “I’ve never been with a virgin before. I don’t know if it’s because I was your first that everything feels so... novel. I feel a strong sense of protectiveness and attentiveness towards you. This is just different, but I love feeling like this with you.”
His words touched my heart, and warm feelings spread through me. I never expected to have such a powerful connection with someone, especially after everything that had happened. But here we were, exploring this new territory together.
A mixture of excitement and anticipation filled the air as we continued to talk and laugh, cherishing this newfound intimacy and clarity between us. I ran my fingers through his hair, relishing the feeling of his presence beside me.
In the end, he leaned down and kissed my lips again. I responded eagerly. When our lips parted, I couldn’t help but feel a sudden surge of excitement.
“Oh my god, Jigo… I just realized something!” I exclaimed, the words bursting out of me.
