CHAPTER 062
CHAPTER 062
«TRISTAN'S POINT OF VIEW»
"You know how much I hate homosexuals, and my son suddenly turned out to be gay. You want me to freaking accept that the man is fucking years older than you, and he happens to be my friend!!!" My dad yelled out in pure wrath, while my stepmom was trying to hold him back from jumping on me for the second time.
And from the corner of my eyes, I could see Dean smirking in satisfaction, making my anger boil as I felt like strangling the life out of him. My gaze went back to my raging father. Angry green eyes staring into another set of green, which wasn't good.
"I don't care, Dad, and there's nothing you can do to change what I feel about Sean!!" I yelled out; I could feel the veins popping out from my forehead as I stared at my father with pure frustration.
"For God's sake, Tristan! Don’t talk back!" my stepmom suddenly snapped, her grip tightening on Dad's arm as she struggled to hold him back, but I didn't look at her; my eyes stayed locked on my father.
My dad tittered bitterly. "You think I can do nothing about it. I'll cut you off from every inheritance!!"
"I DON'T CARE!!!" I screamed at the top of my voice. "I don't care about anything as long as I have Sean by my side. You can shove your freaking money down your throat; I don't give a fucking shit!!"
And again, I was suddenly tackled to the floor as Dad had fought from his wife's grip and was now towering over me, his hands on my collar as he slammed my head on the floor repeatedly.
"You want to be gay? I'll make you gay in hell!" It was like a monster had suddenly taken over him as he continued to slam my head on the hard floor. Soon, I felt my vision spinning and blurry as I felt something warm under my head. Blood.
"I'll show you what I did to those who are fags and those who try to take what used to be mine."
With my last bit of strength, I shoved him off me with all my might and instantly crawled away, but he grabbed me by the ankle and pulled me back, and when I turned, his fist made contact with my jaw, and once again, he climbed on top of me and began throwing punches at my face.
"Fight back, you stupid piece of shit. I should have killed you the same way I killed your fucking mom; you wouldn't have been alive to turn out a faggot!"
My breath hitched, pain exploding through my face as the words rang louder than the punches. Did he just say he killed my mom?
My eyes widened at his words, but I didn't have the chance to counter them as something heavy was smashed on my head. For a split second, the room spun violently around me, voices fading into distant echoes before the darkness swallowed everything whole.
~~
"How are you feeling?"
I lifted my head at the voice, and I glared daggers at the priest sitting in front of me on the study table in my room. "Get the fuck out; I am not cursed. “I don't need a cure!" I growled at him for the first time since he had been in my room, murmuring words I recognized as prayers, casting out demons he believed had occupied my body.
It had been only a few minutes since I woke up in my bed and found this man sitting here. Though I didn't know how I got to my room, I didn't ponder on it, especially when the past events hit me with a force stronger than the pains in my body and the ache in my head. I could still feel my vision spinning, probably from loss of blood.
My dad had turned into a monster. Did he hate homosexuals that much, to the point that he was willing to kill his son? I cringed at the thought.
Perhaps it was the effect of the toxic substances in his system. I brought my hand up to my head and touched a white bandage wrapped neatly around it. My fingers traced down to my face, but I flinched when I touched the inflicted cuts. Dad nearly killed me. My eyes widened again, and he said he killed my mom—was that true, or was it just an angry man talking? And what did he mean? I touched something that used to belong to him. Was he talking about Sean?
"Your dad called me here to pray for you.”
With anger, I grabbed him across the table and tugged him by the collar of his coat. "I am not possessed. Get the fuck out of my room before I choke you to death. Believe me, I will do it and feel no remorse." I gritted my teeth, and he sprayed some water on my face. With anger, I had him shoved against the wall, but the door opened, and my dad walked in, instantly pulling me away from the priest. I shook his arms off me and put a large amount of distance between us, watching as the priest crawled out the open door.
Dad wheeled over to me; his eyes were redder than they were before, and weird, toxic energy stuffed the room as it suddenly became too small for us.
"I called the local priest to pray for you."
I laughed humorlessly. "You are delusional if you think a priest will get rid of the love I have for Sean."
Instantly, I watched as his jaw hardened.
"Not Sean."
I stared at him weirdly, the pains in my body long forgotten. "What the fuck do you mean by not Sean? What's your bloody past with Sean?"
"Because he turned me into this!" He took a threatening step towards me, and I retreated as his hand balled into a fist. "He made me homophobic, and you think I'm going to let my son be one of them or be with him? He used to be mine!"
My mouth opened.
"W-what the fuck are you talking about?"
Suddenly, he smirked. "He will be here in a few hours, and you will find it out yourself."
With that, he walked out the door, slamming it shut, and locked it from the outside, leaving me marveling at the meaning of what the fuck he just said. Sean was coming… why?
A cold knot formed in my stomach.
