Kiss

Jayden POV

I couldn't help scoffing, as I stepped out and found her standing in front of her car, with the bonnet opened, while she looked like she was stranded. To start with, don't tell me she still hasn't left the company's premises, for the past an hour that she left? This girl is just so damn unbelievable.

As much as I want to mind my business and go home, I just found myself, getting convinced about helping her. Maybe I should just return the favor she did for me earlier today. Besides, there's no harm in giving a helping hand, right?

Walking over to her, I maintained a straight face as usual.

"Need help?" I asked, as I stood behind her, tucking my hands into my pockets, while standing like a gentleman I'm not. I know she'll definitely decline it, I shouldn't have asked her in the first place.

She tilted her head to look at me, and scoffed, before finally turning to face me, with an unexplainable expression on her face. Gosh! Must she always be like this, huh? She's just one hell of an annoying spoilt brat. At least, even if she doesn't want to respect me as a boss, can't she do that for my age? For goodness sake, I am way older than her. She should thank her luck that I don't have a sister, heaven knows that I would've just her up to be beaten. I can't possibly do it myself, right?

"Good evening sir." The girl with her, squeaked, looking all excited. I don't blame her, I get that alot, and it's not something to get worked up about.

"Yeah." I replied her simply, not taking my eyes off Eve, who was standing like...., I don't even know what to say.

"Thank you, I'll just take a cab home." She said, and without waiting for my next word, she walked over to her car, opened it and picked her bag, before turning to the girl with her.

"Let's go Marian." She said to her, and the girl made pouted her lips. Wait a minute! Is she being serious right now? This is almost 7pm, and taking a public taxi at this time, is risky, is she possibly expecting me to let her go? She must be losing her mind.

"Eve, don't be stubborn, ok? I'm just trying to help here, so don't make it look like a big deal. It's already getting late, and letting you go take a cab home, is dangerous, can you get in the car and let me drop you two off?" I said calmly, while looking at her. If she love herself, she better comply now, before I carry her into the car myself.

"Cmon Eve, he's just trying to help us, and besides, he's right. It's getting late already, and taking a public taxi home at this time, is dangerous, especially when there's no single man with us. Just this once please?" Her friend pouted, while tugging on her hand.

"And how sure are you that going with him, won't be more dangerous, huh? Why is he so desperate, taking us home. I don't trust him. We're still wasting time, let's get going already Marian. I'm gonna leave you here, if you're not going to go with me." She snapped at her angrily.

"To start with, I don't look like a bad guy, do I? I'm just trying to be nice...."

"And I am not asking you for help! And did you just said you don't look like a bad guy? Sorry to disappoint you, but they don't write it on their foreheads, so can you just leave me the hell alone? For then love of God, when has accepting help become a must? I said I'm not interested! I'll take the cab." She cut me off, and huffed angrily.

"I'm sure you wouldn't want me, forcing you into the car, right? Eve, I urge you to comply, now that I'm still trying to be nice. I am your boss, and it is my responsibility, to make sure that each an everyone of my workers, are fine, I don't know what you're thinking, but just snap out of whatever you're thinking of, and just take this as a boss, helping his secretary." I said sarcastically, knowing it'll get to her.

"You!" She gritted her teeth, while pointing at me, looking all angry. Wow, it worked, I know best how to get on her nerves, she'll sure cry, by the time I'm done with her.

"So are you still hesitating?" I asked, as I finally brought my hands out of my pockets, and started walking towards her, while having a smirk on my face. If she isn't going to comply, I'm sure going to scoop her in my arms, and take her to my car.

"Fine!" She glared at me.

"This way." I said, while having a smirk on my face.

"I'll go get my bag." The Marian girl said, before rushing to the car, and got her bag, after which she closed the door.

Leading them to where my car is parked, I hopped in on the driver's seat, while they both hopped in the back seat, as Eve banged the door, and I just couldn't help chuckling softly. She's acting like an angry baby.

Turning on the ignition, I set the car on motion, before driving out of the compound, and soon, we were already on our way home.

I glanced at them through the visor, and almost burst into laughter, seeing the frown on Eve's face, while looking out of the window. She's funny, I'm going to make sure I piss her ass off so badly, that she'll cry to bed tonight, watch me taunt her.

"I'm dropping at that junction sir." Marian's voice came on, after almost twenty minutes of driving on the road, and without saying a word to her, I stopped the car once we got to the junction.

"Goodnight baby girl, see you tomorrow." She said to Eve, who only forced a smile.

"Good night sir, thanks alot." She greeted me politely, and I nodded. She stepped out of the car, and I turned on the ignition, before driving away, to the direction the angry bird gave me.

"Don't make that face girl, you're going to get wrinkles. I wonder who'll marry you, if you have wrinkles at this age." I chuckled softly, as I took the turn to her street.

She rolled her eyes, and stared out of the window.

After driving for what seemed like forever, ger voice finally came on.

"Are you planning to kidnap me?" Her voice came on, and that was when I realized that she must've gotten to her destination. But that is not the proper way to say it, right?

"Do I look like I'm planning to?" I shrugged, as I stopped the car, and got rid of my seatbelt, before getting off the car, even before her.

"Good night." She said angrily, once she stepped out of the car, and started walking away, but I held her hand and pulled her back, before slamming her back against the car, and before she could register in her head, what was happening, I crashed my lips on hers....
