CHAPTER 24.
“Where is your wife? Isn't she coming back yet?"
Lee's mother said as she shakes her son. Lee didn't pay attention to it because he was confused. He has not been able to go to work for several days because of the amount of scandal he has caused in his life. He got Beatriz pregnant and now there are some more women chasing him in the office so he really didn't want to go to work.
“So what are your plans now? You will just stop chasing her? Go home and find your crazy wife. Later, Beatriz will come here and she will live here from now on," said his mother.
“W-what? What are you saying Mom? What will Beatriz stay here for? You know you can't do that because maybe Diwata won't come back. Maybe she'll divorce me forever!" he replied to his mother.
“Then that's good! It would be better for her not to come back here so that we can be alone in this house. Your wife doesn't know anything. Wouldn't it be nice if she broke up with you? You are already rich. We don't need her anymore," said his mother and sat down on the big hammock near the garden.
“Mom, Diwata is still my wife and we are still married. It would be a pity if I broke up with her, we know that her parents left her too much wealth, I will not allow that wealth to go to others," he told his mother. Not now. This is not yet the right time for him to leave Diwata. He must first seize all that her parents left behind. He will make sure that even a few more years later he will not suffer anymore. He will no longer suffer the hardships of life they once went through.
The lady blew air obviously irritated at who the woman they were talking about now was.
“Get out here Lee and don't ruin my mood. I will leave and go to the salon," said his mother.
“All right, I'm leaving. If Diwata comes here, tell me right away. ”
His mother did not speak and only raised one eyebrow at once. He said goodbye here and left the big land owned by Diwata's parents.
In his car he pulled it back into the SRV.
He had been monitoring that Hale Vandrous house for several days but there was always no one. He could not catch his wife. He had to tame her and take her home. She can’t stay with that antipathetic Hale Vandrous, that idiot has a day with him too!
He first stopped in front of Hale's big house to see if he could catch Diwata outside, the house was empty. He couldn’t scandalize now to make a scene because the last time he did that thing his snout bled. He had better reach out without that Hale and Diwata was the only person in its house.
He sighed and passed the house because he had nothing to gain from waiting there.

"What are you thinking? Why were you so quiet earlier?" Hale commented to Diwata as she sat down on the table and stared at the emptiness.
She seemed to be thinking deeply so he wondered.
"Is there a problem?" he asked but Diwata just shook her head.
"I just miss Mommy and Daddy," Diwata said softly, it was only then that he saw the sadness in her eyes as if the loneliness she felt now was so deep.
“If they were just alive maybe I would still have someone with me. I still have something to go home. ”
He felt pity for her. He pulled out a chair and faced it, he lifted its chin and examined the entirety of its innocent face.
"Do not be sad. They will not be happy when they see you sad. Do you want them to be sad too? ” he asked here. It shook at him.
“Uhm I don’t. I just can’t really avoid being able to miss them. By the way, I will tell you something,”
Suddenly her eyes were serious so he just waited for what it would say to him.
"I'm going home tomorrow," she said. Something seemed to squeeze his chest when Diwata said those words.
Will it return to her husband?
"You mean you're going back to your husband?" he asked. He didn't know why someone seemed to be pinching his heart at the thought of Diwata going back home to her husband. Only one thing was clear to him now. Diwata still loves her husband. Even with the amount of pain she went through with her husband, she is still the man she will go home to after all.
It was as if a knife was stabbing his chest.
He looked up and struggled to resist the emotion that permeated his whole being.
He don't think he has a chance for this woman.
Shit! Why is it that with the number of women he will like, it is the woman who is already tied to other? He fall with a married woman.
Yes, he already likes Diwata, or maybe it's not just a like.
He already loves it. He just didn’t want to admit to himself that he was falling for it.
He wants to protect it. He wanted to take care of it. He wanted to love her that her stupid husband could not afford. But what about now? How could he fight something he knew was wrong. Wrong because she is married and already has a husband.
He has nothing against that.
He sneezed and even though he could hardly speak he still forced himself to control his emotions.
."Are you really going to come back to him after all?" he asked here.
“Yes, I will go back to our house Hale. I will come back to tell Lee that I want to break up with him. ”
There he was stunned by what he heard. His formerly tight chest seemed to have come to life because of what Diwata had said.
But was what he heard right? Is it true?
"W-what did you say?"
“I'm going to separate from Lee, it's not right for us to be together because he already has a child with someone else. I don't want to ruin the future of his child."
He swallowed and drew a sweet smile on his lips.
“R-really? Is that really Diwata?" he said in disbelief and touched both her shoulders.
She frowned at him and seemed to be wondering at his actions.
“Yes Hale. Tsk! I told you to use cotton budds so you don't go deaf! ”
He couldn't say anything for what she said and the last thing he realized was that he was hugging Diwata tightly. He's happy. This was probably the happiest day of his life. He couldn't believe he could hear all that from Diwata, he would do anything just to help her separate from its stupid husband.
