The Date

*Nikolas*

At the office, I couldn't help but think about Ella. I should talk to her about returning to work or making an office space at mine or Alex's apartment. I might take her on a date soon to get to know her better. I want to win the bet. I bet she tastes like heaven.

I checked my emails about the business meeting, and I looked at Ella's desk and saw the woman I hired temporarily until she returned. This woman has no shame flirting with Alex or me when she is at the desk, but it makes me miss my Nukke. She always looked so focused on her work, but she also smiled when anyone made an appointment on the phone or came in for a meeting.

I texted Alex about me taking Ella on a date, and he never texted back. I bet he had overslept; it was about ten in the morning, so he might have been at the gym.

I was in the middle of my boxing workout when I got a text from Nik about taking Ella on a date. I didn't respond because I didn't know how to respond. We made a bet, but I need to understand why he is texting me about his plans. I don't understand because we haven't liked the same girl in years, and now that Ella is in the picture, she has me and him so wrapped around her pinky she doesn't even know.

After my boxing workout, I call Nikolas to discuss his plans with Ella. I should talk to her first but want to take her on a date first. I don't know what I want to do with her; she is unique, like a delicate flower. I want her date with me to be fun and fabulous, I want to get her flowers and take her to a restaurant, but Nik probably wants to do the same thing.

Nik and I have always had a competition for girls; he was more the charmed great guy that his parents loved, while I was the bad boy that most girls swooned over at first glance. But, of course, it changed over the years. He became more reckless, and I became calmer; the perks of being twins are that you change your personality and evolve when it benefits you.

I called Ella, " Hey Nukke, I have a question,"

" Shoot, Sir." She was focused on something I could tell but on what I didn't know. " Would you like to go on a date with me?" I was nervous asking her because most girls didn't even get to this stage with me; it was usually a quick screw, then leave. " Yes, I would like to date you, sir." I almost danced happily, " I'll see you at around 9; I get off work late." We hung up, and I was smiling so hard that everyone in my office thought something was wrong. I had to change into my stone face before a meeting with one of my business partners.

After the meeting, I checked the time, which was almost 8. I had to rush home and prepare for my date; when I finally got ready, I was late picking up my Nukke. I felt like I was already the worst date for her; I wanted to make her happy, but I felt like a failure when I got to Alex's place. He opened the door with messy hair and looked asleep; I saw Ella walk out of her room in a pretty light blue lace dress with black heels. She wasn't in a bun; she looked gorgeous.

The moment she saw me, she had a smile on her face and walked to the door. She smelt like lilacs and honey; she smelt so good I just couldn't understand it.

Ella was the perfect woman for me; I wanted to do everything possible to make this date and every date after perfect for you. I want to give her the world more than anything; I want to see her beautiful smile every day. I can't believe this lovely goddess has agreed to go on a date with me.

She saw the restaurant, and her eyes lit up; this place is known for its excellent pasta and steaks. I wanted to take her to the best place I know, but somewhere I haven't taken any other girl; I wanted her to feel special, and I think I've done that. We sat at a table that overlooked the park, and she looked so bewildered by the experience. I stroked her cheek with my thumb; she looked at the table for a bit, we both ordered pasta, and I ordered a bottle of white wine. I thought it would help Ella relax; I wanted her to feel comfortable with me. After dinner we took a stroll to the park and we discussed everything from our likes all the way to how the company is doing talking to her was so easy and simple, I could do it forever. She was like a breath of fresh air, she wasn't blatanly wanting to get into my pants but she was flirting in a shy way but she made me feel like she was actually listening to our conversation. When our date was over and I walked her to Alex's door, I kissed her cheek and she blushed. She looked so beautiful I couldn't believe it. I had been on the best in a long time and I almost kissed her sweet lips. I want her, all of her. I want her mind, body, and soul.

I went home that night thinking about her, when I laid in my bed and sleep took over I dreamt sweet dreams about my Nukke. I think I might have fallen for her already and I couldn't stop myself.

The date was perfect, I didn't expect him to have everything so thought out like that. Alex was happy to see me walk through the door lately he's been cuddling me and brushing my hair. Its soothing but I wish he would talk, he sits there quietly while I watch tv and he looks content to have me around him.

Alex kissed my head and said good night but I couldn't sleep so I texted Nik how much I enjoyed our date and couldn't wait to see him again.
