RUMORS (PART TWO)
I ran out of my room when I spotted some maids gossiping in a corner.
"Is it true?" The first red-haired one asked with a shock.
The second answered. "Of course, rumors are spreading around like wildfire, and, within a matter of time, the realms will hear about it. If it's not already spreading around, you know this could lead to questions for Princess Oceana and a stain to her reputation."
"No, this can't be true." The third one disagreed. "Alpha Gérard will have our heads. If he hears these words from our mouth. And besides, why did they kiss in such a public area when they both know they will be caught? Alpha Oceana can't do such a thing with her brother, it's disgusting. Alpha Gérard is married for crying out loud.'
"Of course, everyone knows he is married, but he has been spotted recently in the pleasure house a couple of times with lots of prostitutes, and even the rumors say…" she looked around suspiciously, lowered her voice, and continued. "He does threesomes with them, and his wife doesn't satisfy him enough, so he finds it somewhere else." The second one is explained.
"That's ridiculous. What puzzles me more, is why will he kiss his sister; it's sickening. This is the famous Alpha Gérard we are talking about, everybody loves him, he is one with a good heart, handsome, powerful and he has so much value. Why go for his sister? He's married and there are thousands of women he could be with?" The first girl asked.
"That's what I'm also wondering, are you sure it was his sister the person saw, or someone who looked similar to Alpha Oceana? She can't do such a thing; she loved her brother but not to the extent of kissing him."
"You guys are not getting the point." The third girl stressed as she rolled her eyes at them. "Haven't you noticed the strange things that have been happening? Oceana has been behaving weirdly and worse, even last night, she was missing from her chambers, and some outfits were also missing in her room when I came to check on her. That means before she left that night, she disguised herself, sneaked out, and went to the Pleasure House."
"To do what?' One of them asked.
"Maybe to have one night stands with some Alpha or Gerard. Just because she's a princess doesn't mean she does not have hormones, blood flowing through her veins. It could be she couldn't hold her pussy from screaming to be fucked and had to seek comfort from the Pleasure House. You know, she doesn't have a boyfriend; she must be pretty bored and lonely. Even the best Alpha, who wants to have her and get married to her. She shuns him off her path like some fly. She warns him to stay away from her and never come close to her. And the way she gets close to Gérard these days is a bit suspicious. Doesn't she know that she's a grown-up lady now and should have many things to focus on instead of being so angry and obsessed with her brother? Even during the wedding of her brother, she nearly destroyed everything in it..."
I have had enough.
I walked up to her with rage and smacked her so hard, she fell to the floor seeing me, she became horrified, and the others bowed down before me in fear.
I walked closer to the slut and grabbed her by the neck.
"So, this is what you say about me, how dare you bite the mouth that fed you?"

"I'm... so sorry, sorry, Mrs. Oceana, I didn't know what came over me. Please forgive me."
I dragged her up and punched her right in the face as I grimaced. "For the next five years, no salary will be paid to you. You will work two times more than the others. Your parents will be locked up in prison for you just committed treason against me, my brother you speak so dirty of and the realms. I should have your head on a platter, but I wish to make you suffer and everything you step on will bleed."
"Please, please, it won't happen again. I was just saying..."
"Guards!" I ordered, and they all came rushing in. "Yes, Alpha Oceana."
"You heard what I said, teach her what she deserves and give this person a lesson, the same as the others, for being an accomplice to the rumors of the realms."
"Yes, Alpha Oceana.' They all bowed and grabbed the three of them by the necks.
They all screamed and begged, but I turned a deaf ear to their cries; they don't deserve any mercy after what they did to me, and that should teach the others to shut up their trap too.
"Please, we won't do it again. Spare my life, Alpha Oceana, please.'
"Don't you think you are being too harsh on them?" I looked behind me and knew it was Emily. I frowned and took a few steps towards her.
What the fuck is she doing here?
"And how is that your business? Do you prefer I kill them instead?"
"I never said that."
"Then, what exactly is your point, Emily?"
"You know my point. Don't pretend not to know what I'm talking about.'
"How will I pretend to know something I don't know? Unless you know something that I don't." I smirked.
"Alpha Oceana.'
"Just get out of my sight before I vent my anger on you and do something we'll both regret.'
"What!' she snapped. "Alpha Oceana, I demand respect from you, I am five years older than you. I am your brother's wife, a princess and heir to the throne, so don't talk to me the way you talk to your maids."
"I see." I chuckled and then furrowed my brows. "Mind your damn business and stop interfering in my matters; don't act all high and mighty just because you are older than me, grandma. I may look like a teenager, a child to you, whatever you think of me doesn't mean I'm not smart. And stop interrupting me and face your damn fake marriage. Who is even feeding you all these lies about being an heir or something?!' I mocked with a chuckle.
"Alpha Oceana.'
"If you know you want to survive right here in this palace, stay out of my way because with just a snap of my finger, I could ruin your life in seconds. And you will never be a princess of the realms or be of any importance to this clan. Everyone will treat you like an outcast and even Gerard would not be able to do anything about you. So, when I say mind your business, I will recommend you to respectfully do so and get out of my way.'
She smiled. "Are you threatening me, Alpha Oceana?'
"Does it look like I'm threatening you?' I laughed.
"I will not be moved by your words because you are not who you carry yourself to be. I don't know what is wrong with you, and I don't want to argue with you; I just came to ask you a simple question and that is, where were you last night?' She strolled closer to me with a solemn look. "I heard something disappointing this morning, and rumors are going around. What I heard from them was very sickening. Very disgusting to hear and speak of, for such accusations and rumors to be on the princess of the realms. You were with Gérard, disguised in a commoner's clothes, and please tell me it's not true."
"You heard such a thing, then you thought in your head that you needed to see me, and you decided to confront me." I frowned and burst out laughing.
Does she know about Gerard and I, this is pissing me off.
"Yes." She nodded.
"And you come to me and ask me this kind of stupid talk, are you okay in the head? You heard such rumors, and you decided to come question me, and besides, who do you think you are? Is it because you are married to Gérard that you think you are the fucking queen or what? Just get the fuck outta here,"
"Still talking disrespectfully as always I see, and I just asked you a simple question. You snapped at me, and I'm beginning to wonder if you are Gérard's sister, or do you have some sort of secret that you don't want anyone to know?"
I smirked. "Get out of my sight; I don't have anything to say to you, and I think you are crazy." I rolled my eyes at her and attempted to walk past her.
"Do not walk out on me."
I stopped. "Did you just order me to stop for an outcast like you?"
'Yes and you would stop and listen to me.'
I sneered. "Make me." I hissed.
"Are you perhaps his secret lover, Oceana?" I stopped in my tracks and looked closely at her, but I tried my best to hold back my shock.
What the hell is she talking about? Did Gerard tell her about our secret?
I gritted my teeth. "Are you nuts?" I needed to make her feel so stupid.
"I am not crazy," she yelled at my face. "I am not stupid either. Who exactly are you to him?"
I laughed.
"He whispers your name every night." She lowered her voice.
I became dumbfounded.
She came closer to me. "I was so wrong about him, I thought he really wanted me in his life but his actions became so suspicious, I recalled myself being so happy that he finally came to terms with me. I was so wrong, really wrong."
"What are you talking about? Are you listening to yourself? You sound crazy for a high and mighty princess that you claim you are.'
Why were her words causing tensions to me?
"I got married to the most handsome Alpha in the realms, but he has feelings for someone else."
"Wow!' I nodded with a chuckle. "That's too bad.'
"He thinks and talks about you all the time, there's no conversation he doesn't have that he doesn't involve you.' her eyes suddenly got teary with a broken voice. "You are always in the picture, even when we make love, he doesn't do it, unless he mentions your name or imagines your image in his head. I could sense it all. I'm surprised at why I never realized all these years that Gerard was turning me into you. I was so stupid and thought he loved me, I did a lot of things to make him happy, not knowing he was turning me into you. I did all kinds of cosmetic procedures to fit into what he wanted from me. I had a couple of surgeries, and my wolf nearly killed me." She shouted tearfully and clenched her fist.
What! Gerard did all that, turning her into me. Come to think of it, she did have a slight resemblance to me.
