Chapter 49 Winter Lycan

POV: Jax

Haven has now fallen back asleep. Its time for me to go now. I take my shirt off and leave it here. I'm not going to need it. I make my way outside to the clearing. Luke and Liam meet me out there. I look up at the moon.

This better be nothing bad. "Hey you good?" Liam asks. "Yeah just nervous." Luke sit on an old tree stump. "How's my sister doing?" Luke wonders.

"She's doing good. A lot better. I didn't have to drag her to Lana this time." He laughs. "So you to are good now?"

"Yes. She's been teaching Cam how to beat me at video games." Liam and Luke laughs. "I guess she figures he better get a head start on practice." Liam says. "Oh yeah she said as much."

"It's time" Ash let's me know pushing forward. "Get ready guys It's happening." I warn them. They stand to attention. I take my shorts off throwing them to Liam.

I start to shift like i normally do. This is different though. It hurts. I feel my bones cracking and muscles shifting around. I growl out in pain.

Everything hurts. My eyes. My ears.. all my limbs are on fire. Then suddenly like a rubber band popped in place it  was over. "It is done." Ash speaks. I look down at my now shifted body. I'm bigger than before. I even stand taller.

Lycans are normally always black or a really dark brown. My body is white. As in completely white like snow. I've never heard of a white Lycan before. I have a white wolf but not in a Lycan.

My eyes are sharper. I didn't think my eye sight could get any sharper than it already was. I feel stronger. My hearing is better. I can hear further away. "Do I have special abilities to like a white wolf?" I ask Ash. "Yes. We can freeze things with our breath. We are white yes but we're called the winter Lycan. Our speed is faster. Our claws have a paralitic venom." Ash explain the extent of our new powers. I feel stronger.

I try the freeze thing out on the grass by blowing on it and ice crystals blanket along the grassy ground. "Woah dude. Your all white." Liam says watching me.

I test out my speed and run around. I'm back in the clearing in less than three minutes. This is crazy. I shift back to human form. This is a big advantage for us tomorrow in taking the palace back.

I slip my shorts back on. "I've never heard of a white Lycan before. A white wolf yes but not this." Liam is in disbelief. "Ash says we're called the winter Lycan." I explain all my new abilities to them.

"So in other words don't piss you off and we won't get paralyzed." Luke jokes. "Yeah yeah. Make fun all you want. These are going to come in handy in a few days when you find something out about Haven." I say showing off my claws smiling evily at him.

I don't know how well he's going to take hearing I knocked up his sister. I'm telling Haven first before I tell anyone else. She should be starting to show symptoms in the next week or so. A pregnancy for our kind last about five to six months.

Cameron won't even be a year old when this child is born. "What exactly am I going to be mad at you about?" Luke questions. "Not your concern right now. Haven will know first before I tell anyone."

"OK I hope its nothing bad." Luke says. We walk back to the packhouse. Luke goes home to his house while Liam stays here at the packhouse.

Its now one in the morning and I have to be up in four hours. The palace is about nine hours away from my pack. Haven , Linda, Cameron and mom will be at the estate since it is closer to the palace. When everything is settled then Haven can go back to the palace.

Its been so long since I've lived there. It's going to be weird being back. Mom told me that after all of this that she will continue on with her punishment from her hearing. I tried to tell her she didn't have to but she insisted. That was dads decision and she plans to uphold it to the letter.

I drink a glass of water before I go up to my room. On my way I hear Cam crying so I tend to him putting him back to sleep. Now I can get some sleep. I crawl in behind Haven snuggling up against her. She turns around facing me in her sleep and buries her face in my chest. Goddess I pray to you let tomorrow go to plan.
