Chapter 37 Goodbye Kiss

POV: Haven

I'm awoken suddenly by Penny shaking me vigorously. "Penny! Wha.. whats going on. Ahh!" A burning hit my neck. I hear Raphael in my head telling me to do what Penny says and that he loves me. I'm scared now.

"Haven we have to go now! Hurry up!" She says grabbing clothes and throwing them in a bag. I get up. "Here put this on."

She throws me a pair of leggings and some running shoes. I hurriedly put them on. I grab a t-shirt to wear and my phone. "Penny what's happening?" I beg her.

"No time just follow me and keep up." She says grabbing my arm running out the room. She takes me outside and a bunch of people are out loading into cars. She pushes me into a car along with two other men and a woman.

I have a small freak out from the woman. Its the one who attacked me. Penny gets in and speeds off. "Whats happening?" I ask.

Where is Raphael? "Haven I need you to listen to me very carefully. Raphael is gone. He died Haven. I'm sorry." Penny explains. What!?

He's... he's gone. "What happened?" My heart pounds. My eyes fill in tears. "He was killed Haven. We're going to Black River. Jax will help us."

Will Jax help us. He won't help me. He hates me. "Haven why don't you call him." Penny suggests. "Um ok but he probably won't answer. He's mad at me." I say sobbing.

I call him on my phone but he doesn't answer so I text him. Still nothing. I decide to try dad. "Hello?"

"Dad Jax won't answer the phone. Raphael died." I cry. "What?! Haven i need you to stop crying and calm down first." Dad says.

I take a few deep breaths. One of the guys hands me a bottle of water. I take a few sips of it. "Ok" I say letting him know I was calm. I still on the verge of crying again though.

"Now tell me what happened. Where are you? Are you safe?" Dad asks. "Penny woke me up and dragged me to a car and now we're on our way to you. She said Raphael was killed. I'm safe." I tell him as cleanly as I can.

"OK Haven. I will get Jax ok just stay on the phone with me ok. I'm at home so it will take me a few minutes." He tells me. I hear him talking to Luke but it mumbled and far away from the phone so I can barely hear what they say.

"Haven? Are you still there?" Dad asks. "Yes." I answer. "Ok good. Luke has went to go get Jax. He will be here soon." Dad say.

"I'm scared dad." I cry. "I know honey but I need you to be a brave girl for me. Can you do that for me?"

"Yes." I take a few more sips of water. I try to calm my crying. "I know it hurts sweetheart but I need you to not cry so we can understand what your saying. Your doing so good." Dad says.

"Is mom there?" I ask. I just want to talk to my mom. "Yes I will get her. Do you want to talk to her."

"Yes." I tell him. After two minutes I hear her. "Haven! Baby are you ok. I'm so sorry." She says crying. "Mom don't cry your going to make me cry." I tell her holding back a sob.

"Give me the phone." A harsh voice says over the phone. "Hello? Who is this?" Its Jax. My heart pounds in my chest. "J..Jax its me, Haven." I answer.

"Haven. Please tell me its not true Haven." He pleads. "It is. Jax please don't be mad at me. I'm sorry for whatever I did. I know you some how blame be for Cat but.." he cuts me off.

"I don't blame you. I'm not mad at you Haven. I could never be. Where are you?" He asks. "On our way. Penny is driving." I tell him. "Who all is in the car with you?" He asks.

I look at them knowing they're listening. The lady um Lillian i think holds her hand out for the phone. I hand it to her. "Jax it's me. Its just Me, Richard, Penny, Court and Haven. If Caroline calls don't trust a word she says." She tells him. "Because Caroline killed him Jax. Penny witnessed it."

I can't believe someone would murder their own father. Why did she do this? "Ben is getting as many people out as possible. The palace could be attacked soon. Only a fourth of our warriors are coming the rest are staying. Ben is staying to fight. We don't know what Caroline has planned."

"Were about seven hours out now. Maybe six with how Penny is driving." She tells him. Penny is driving very fast.

"OK. Here she is." Lillian hands the phone back to me. "Hello?"

"Haven I need you to listen to me very carefully ok? When you get here your going to be staying in the pack house. I can keep you safe better there. I want you to try and get some sleep ok."

"OK." I say. "Alright. I will see you when you get here." He ends the call. "It going to alright honey. Caroline will pay for her crimes." Lillian said.

"I got your letter." I tell her. "You did. I meant every word of it. You're a sweet girl Haven." She says. "I just want you to know I do forgive you. I forgave you when I read it. I get why you did it."

"What i did was inexcusable. I appreciate your forgiveness though. You seem to have all my boys smitten with you." She says lightening up the mood.

"Haven lay back and try to sleep." Penny says. I lay back in the front seat and get as comfortable as I can.

I'm in the garden again. Selene is standing there waiting for me. I walk to her. "Hello my blessed."

"Hello." I say sadly. "I know you are hurting my blessed. I am sorry that Raphael and Midnight was taken from you"

"There is only one message for you tonight and that is for you my blessed." Selene says. Her voice is so soothing.

"What is it?" I ask. "You must listen carefully. This is a gift and I will not do this again. It is the one and only time."

She waves her hand and one of the trees open up. Raphael appears from it. "Raphael." I cry. "Hello my love. Don't cry." He says sweetly.

"I miss you." I tell him. "I know love. I do to. The moon goddess has shown me things. I can't tell you what they are." He says.

"I love you." I say. "And I love you too. I want you to remember something for me. Just stick with Jax. He will keep you safe. I want you to be happy. Its ok to be with some else."

"But I don't want to be. I want you." I tell him. "I know love but I need you to be for me. Promise me you will be happy. The goddess has given me a message for you to give to Jax."

"What is it?" I ask him. "Caroline is not the true queen. In my death my power passed down to Jax and a power will awaken in him soon. Be prepared to under go a major change."

"OK. I will tell him." I promise. "Good. I have to go now. I love you. May Midnight speak with her?" He kisses me. A goodbye kiss.

"Yes my child." Selene answers. His eyes change and voice goes deeper. "Midnight?" I say.

"Yes Haven. I love mate. Want mate to be Happy."

"I love you too and I will try." I tell him."mate go to Jax now. Jax will protect."

"I am. I'm on my way to him right now." I assure him. "I love you always and forever." He kisses me. "Good bye" we say. And then he was gone.

"Fear not my blessed. Everything will turn out in the end. Sleep now." She is fades away. I am around in to the depths of my dreams.
