Chapter 55

“I will be over the moon if he looked so much like me when he grew up to be a young man,” Lain muttered. Elvira smiled at Lain and nodded. There was no doubt of it, this baby would definitely be like Lain and she was sure about it. The baby will probably be like Lain. watching Lain’s smile, Elvira admired him. He was dangerously handsome and he was just so beautiful. Is there any man who could be compared with Lain’s look? No way! There was no man who could surpass Lain’s handsome look.

“There’s no doubt.. I can’t wait to see him grow up and become like you,” Elvira giggled as she said that. Lain smiled at her and nodded. He was also craving to see his little son growing up and become so fucking strong and powerful. With that thought in his mind, he sat up on the bed and caressed Elvira’s hair. He watched them for a while and sighed. After some time, Lain got up and walked into the washroom because he found himself so tired and wanted to shower again. Grabbing a warm shower, Lain walked in front of the mirror and sighed looking at himself. While he was looking at his pale face, suddenly he felt that he was about to vomit. It didn’t take time, he just vomited blood with a piercing pain in his chest.

His time was getting shorter and shorter. Wiping his mouth and washing it, Lain looked at himself again. He’s dying soon but he was going to live forgetting the fact. He wanted to spend his last time very happily. Going out of the washroom, Lain changed into a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. He came out of the dressing room and stepped towards the bed looking at Elvira. He didn’t have the heart to leave them. He didn’t even feel like going downstairs and having his dinner because he valued every second he spent with them.

“Lain.. have dinner and come. I’m already sleepy” Elvira said, touching his hand. Lain hummed. She was tired and she was already sleeping when he came here. She just woke up from the sleep because of him. He should let her sleep. Nodding at Elvira, Lain kissed her forehead. Even though she slept now, he knew that she would have to wake up from time to time because this boy would get hungry late at night. So Lain didn’t want to bother her anymore.

“Alright, you sleep. I’ll have dinner and come” He said as he left the room. Coming to the dining room, Lain had his dinner and walked out of the house as he waited there looking at the beautiful sky. He couldn’t help but think about Elvira and his new born son as he looked at the sky. He was happy and at the same time he was sad. He was happy because he just became a father but he was sad because he was going to leave them soon. His time is slowly running out. He can only live for almost two years now. That means he would only be able to look at his son when he just became a little toddler.

“Alpha…” disturbing his thoughts, he heard a voice. He looked back to see it was Aunt Maria. Seeing Maria’s worried eyes, Lain smiled at her. He knew that Maria was upset because of the thing that was going to happen. Maira stared at Lain for a while and then she stepped closer to him. She couldn’t bear this pain because she was the one to raise Lain ever since he was a kid. Maria was the one to help Lain’s mother with everything and her mind was recalling her about everything.

“Isn’t there a way to live?” Maria asked Lain. Lain’s heart tightened. He stared at Maria’s reddened eyes and shook his head. There’s no way for him to stay without dying. He should leave as soon as he turns thirty. It was the rule from the moon goddess. It was the rule for everything. This is the result of gaining unconditional power and strength in him. He was so powerful and he was so fucking strong but his life time was limited to thirty years. He had to go when the time arrived. With that thought in his mind, Lain let out a deep sigh and smiled at Maria.

“There’s no way to live now, aunt. I have made up my mind for everything. Everything is happening according to the moon goddess so there is no way for me to change it” Lain muttered, making Maria’s eyes covered with tears. She buried her face against her palms and cried for a while not knowing how to believe that she was going to lose Lain too. It was so hurtful for her. Lain was the little boy who she took care of. She saw him growing up and becoming a strong man but now, she had to watch him dying too. How could she go through this pain? Facing Lain’s mother’s death was already enough and painful. She was not strong enough to face Lain’s death too.

“I… I can’t see you dying alpha… it’s so hurtful. I had to watch everyone in your family leaving, including my luna.. She asked me to take care of you like my own son before she died, so how can I face your death now? Please… I can’t” Lain lowered his head. He understood Maria’s feelings and thought but he couldn’t help it. He couldn’t do anything about it and he was so fucking helpless because of this thing. He remembered Maria taking care of him well. She even took care of him, even when she was pregnant with her son. She never stopped coming here.

“It hurts… it hurts to see you leaving everything. How can I bear this pain? I lost everyone who treated me and my family well. Your mother was everything but she also had to leave and then you are also leaving. Your father is also good to me and he also left. What should I do? How can I live without you?” Maria sobbed harder, touching Lain’s arm. Lain clenched his jaws and sighed. He shook his head and pulled Aunt Maria to a hug and patted her back as he sighed. There were some people who would be sad over his death and Maria was one of them.

“It’s my life, aunt… I know it hurts for you because you were loyal to my family ever since you came here. But I can’t stop myself from dying and I have to leave. I’m so sorry about it. Just like you took care of me when my mom died, I hope you will take care of her and my son. Just take care of them and that is the only thing you can do for me now” Lain said, breaking the hug. Maria remained crying and shaking her head not wanting to accept it. Watching her for a while, Lain walked into the house. When he came to the room, he saw Elvira was sleeping.

Lain got onto the bed and laid next to Elvira closing his eyes but he opened her eyes again and looked at his little son who was opening his eyes while looking at the ceiling above him. Lain moved and watched his son until his little emerald orbs fell on Lain. he scanned Lain’s face so seriously while moving his little eyes everywhere on Lain’s face. After a serious scan, he slowly curled his little lips upwards to a beautiful and cute smile before moving his little arms up. Lain’s heart was covered with love. His whole body softened and he smiled, touching the baby.

The baby touched Lain’s one finger with his tiny five fingers. Lain couldn’t help himself but smile with happiness. He felt he was going crazy with this love. He was feeling the love and emotions as a father. These feelings was so fucking valuable to him. He let his boy hold his hand until he fell asleep again. After Lain found that his son was sleeping, he slowly moved his hand away and laid on the bed again, closing his eyes to sleep.he hugged Elvira against his chest and buried his face against her neck as he slowly drifted into the sleep. She was sleeping soundly and comfortably.

“Lain… can you take Lael for a while, I need to take a shower. He’s not getting off my body” Lain heard Elvira’s voice. He walked into the room and took the little boy who was hanging on Elvira's body as a collar bear and kissed his face. After he took Lael to him, Elvira smiled at him and walked into the washroom. After she left, Lain looked at his son and hummed. It has been two years already. His son is two years old now. He’s cute and so fucking adorable.

“Daddy…. out?” He forced his words out. Lain chuckled and walked out of the room with Lael and entered the courtyard. Lael liked it when Lain took him for walks around the courtyard. Carrying his son, he walked around the flowers and then stopped in front of the pint letting him watch the fishes. He giggled while watching beautiful fishes in the pond and then looked at Lain with a smile.

“Daddy's.. So good” he muttered, making Lain smile. Of course, he’s so good because he’s giving everything to this little toddler. Kissing his cheek, Lael again looked at the pond with a sweet laughter. Lain waited until he was done watching the pond and then he took him back into the house as he placed him on the sofa with a smile. Looking at him, his son smiled and raised his little arms again asking him to carry him again. Lain looked at his actions and nodded.

“You want daddy to carry you all the time?” He asked. Lael nodded at Lain strictly and wrapped his arms around Lain’s neck. Lain threw him up into the air and then caught him. Lael laughed loudly with what he did. Lain also laughed hearing his son’s laugh. At the same time, Lain heard a gasp. He turned and looked at the direction the sound came from to see it was Elvira. Elvira was scared whenever he did this with Lael. seeing her coming, Lain winked at her. She pressed her lips together and walked towards Lain and Lael.

“Mommy…..” Lael shouted looking at Elvira. She smiled at the boy and took him from Lain. Lain watched Elvira’s face to see that she looked somewhat weird. Watching her face for a while, Lain caressed her pale face. She forced a smile at him and took Lael to his room. At the same time, Aunt Maria came. Asking Maria to take care of Lael for a while, Elvira went to Lain again. Lain was also waiting for Elvira to come and talk to him because he felt that she had to tell him something.

“What’s wrong?” Lain wrapped his arm around Elvira’s was it and questioned her. She looked at him but didn’t talk to him immediately. She waited for some time. The more she stayed silent the more his heart grew heavier. What was going on in her mind all of sudden, she was all okay right? Lain patiently waited for her to speak without uttering anything. After a while, she sighed and took his hand before placing it against her belly again. Lain’s heart skipped a beat with what she did.

“I… I’m pregnant again. I feel the baby inside of me..” Lain’s heart started to pound against his chest without a hint of gentleness. He moved his eyes to her belly and clenched his jaws. She.. she’s pregnant again? But why didn’t he feel about it? His heart ached… he was weak now. That’s why he didn’t feel it. Looking at Elvira, he cupped his face and smiled at her. He was happy that she’s pregnant again but at the same time his heart was crumpled from the pain as he thought about dying in a few months.

He was dying on his thirty birthday and if she’s pregnant now, he won’t be able to wait until she gives birth to the baby. Lain’s eyes were covered with tears and he pulled her to a hug and kissed her head. How can he leave her when she’s fucking pregnat? Hw can’t leave her with two children. But what to do? He was trapped inside of painful truth and painful feelings.

“It’s so good. I’m so happy…” Lain said as he smiled at Elvira. Elvira’s lips slowly curled upwards to a beautiful smile and she hugged him back burying her face against his chest. Hugging him tightly against her body, she kissed his neck and then looked into his eyes again. His emerald eyes were so beautiful.

“It will be painful but I’m happy to become a mother again…” She whispered, making Lain smile at her. She looked so beautiful. She’s so happy to be a mother again. Lain kissed her forehead and nodded. If he knew that something like this would happen, he would have been somewhat careful when he was having sex with her in past six months after she recovered from her pegnancy.
