Chapter 317 Is It Mrs. Hamilton?
Olivia remained silent for a long time.
Andrew noticed her eyes were slightly red and couldn't help but freeze.
He smiled helplessly, reached out to gently brush her face, and asked, "What's wrong? Your eyes are all red."
Olivia quickly shook her head and said, "It's nothing, just feels like something got in my eye. It'll be fine soon."
She raised her hand and rubbed it gently, then responded, "I've remembered everything you just said."
Andrew knew, of course, that nothing had actually gotten in her eye.
Having known her for so long, he naturally understood the reason for her emotional change.
Taking advantage of the red light, he pulled her close and planted a gentle kiss on her eyes, "Good that you remember."
This kiss caught Olivia completely off guard. Now her eyes weren't red anymore—her face was.
How could this man be so bold?
He was still driving!
What if they got caught on camera?
She quickly said, "Just focus on driving!"
At the same time, she glanced somewhat embarrassedly at the back seat, afraid Bianca might notice something.
Bianca noticed Olivia looking at her and quickly covered her eyes with her little hands, saying in a sweet childlike voice, "Mommy, I'm not peeking!"
But her fingers were spread so wide that Olivia couldn't help but laugh, and her earlier emotions dissipated.
Andrew saw this in the rearview mirror too and couldn't help smiling.
Soon, the car was back on the road, and after about ten minutes, they arrived at the kindergarten.
They came early, avoiding others. Andrew took the mother and daughter directly to the principal's office.
The principal had been notified early and had been waiting there for quite some time.
Now seeing Andrew actually bringing people, she immediately approached with a smile and greeted, "Mr. Hamilton, good morning."
Then looking at Olivia and Bianca, she said, "This must be Mrs. Hamilton and Bianca? Bianca is so adorable, you two have amazing genes."
Olivia was stunned for a moment at these words and instinctively looked at Andrew beside her.
But Andrew didn't deny the principal's words. He said calmly, "My assistant mentioned my daughter's situation to you before. Please pay extra attention to her in daily lifes.
If there's anything unusual about her emotions, remember to notify us immediately."
The principal didn't dare be careless and immediately said, "Don't worry, Mr. Hamilton. I've already discussed Bianca's situation with the teachers. We'll definitely pay special attention to her condition."
Andrew was still worried about Bianca, so he communicated with the principal repeatedly, giving detailed instructions.
Olivia, on the other hand, felt rather useless standing there.
Mainly because Andrew had already said everything that needed to be said.
The principal had been somewhat nervous, thinking that receiving such an important person, she might accidentally upset them.
Unexpectedly, both of them were very gentle and polite throughout.
No different from other children's parents.
Several people communicated in the office for quite a while.
Children coming to school were gradually entering the kindergarten.
The bell outside had already rung when the principal finally said to Andrew and them, "Mr. Hamilton, class is about to start. Should I have a teacher take Bianca to the classroom?"
Hearing this, Bianca immediately hugged Andrew's leg, looking somewhat timid, tilting her head up at him and asking, "Daddy, will you and Mommy come pick me up tonight?"
Andrew looked at Bianca tenderly and said, "Of course we will. We'll take you to eat something delicious then, okay?"
Hearing this, Bianca immediately smiled with pursed lips and said, "Okay!"
Andrew rubbed Bianca's head and said to her, "Go to class, and tonight tell me what friends you made."
With his words, Bianca started to look forward to going to class. She soon followed the teacher.
But perhaps still unfamiliar with the new environment, just after leaving the office, she kept looking back at Andrew and Olivia, her expression very reluctant.
Andrew took the initiative to wave at her and said, "Bye-bye."
Only then did Bianca bravely wave back at them.
Olivia saw her expression and felt very reluctant too.
But she also knew that children needed to be given appropriate independence, so she didn't say anything.
Andrew noticed this, walked over to hold her hand, and said softly, "Let's follow along and observe secretly. Once we see Bianca is okay, we'll leave."
Olivia looked at him. Andrew chuckled and said, "First time sending a kid to school, no experience. Now I know how worried parents can be."
Olivia could see he was even more worried than she was. She couldn't help but smile and said, "Then let's secretly watch for a bit."
"Mm." Andrew nodded.
Hearing their conversation, the principal naturally didn't dare stop them.
Moreover, she took the initiative to lead them to the outside of Bianca's classroom.
Then Andrew and Olivia secretly observed her from where Bianca couldn't see them.
Bianca looked somewhat timid when she first entered the classroom.
The teacher arranged a seat toward the front for her, but because she didn't know any of the children around her, she just sat quietly by herself, not talking much, looking particularly lonely.
Olivia and Andrew's hearts ached a bit.
She couldn't help but ask Andrew in a low voice, "Will Bianca really be able to make friends?"
Andrew gently squeezed her hand, as if comforting her, and said, "She definitely will. You have to believe in her."
Andrew's words weren't wrong.
Because before long, children started approaching Bianca on their own.
The kids were very curious about this new classmate, so they gathered around her desk and started chatting with her.
"Hi, are you new here?"
"You're so pretty! What's your name?"
Bianca saw so many children coming over. This atmosphere felt like being back at her previous school.
She replied softly, "My name is Bianca."
"Bianca, hi! We're classmates now!"
"Bianca, you like the pink fox too? I have a backpack with that pattern too!"
Children's way of making friends is simple. Just liking the same thing can get them talking.
Bianca was also interested in talking more with them.
Many children gradually gathered around.
Probably because Bianca was so cute, on her first day of school, she was quite popular.
There were even little boys constantly moving closer to her.
Then Andrew's handsome brow furrowed.
He turned to ask Olivia, "Have you taught Bianca about keeping proper distance between boys and girls?"
Olivia had been happy that Bianca was getting along well with the other children, when she suddenly heard Andrew's question and was stunned.
Then she replied, "Not yet..."
Andrew seriously reminded her, "Bianca is almost four years old. We need to teach her that later. Tell her to keep her distance from boys."
Olivia blinked at these words.
Looking again at the children around Bianca, she belatedly realized what Andrew meant.
She couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Bianca was still so young, and Andrew was already worried about her being taken away?
Olivia smiled and nodded, not refusing Andrew's suggestion, saying, "Okay, I'll listen to you. I'll teach her later."
Andrew emphasized, "I'll teach her myself!"
Olivia couldn't help but smile, but still agreed, "Okay, whatever you say."
The two unknowingly observed for almost an hour.
Bianca finally gradually integrated into the environment and started playing with the other children.
The two could finally leave with peace of mind.
After leaving the kindergarten, Andrew drove Olivia back first.
The research institute was almost fully staffed, and they'd probably start getting busy in a few days.
After Andrew dropped her off, he said to her, "I'll pick you up tonight. We'll pick up Bianca from school and have dinner with Benjamin. He's been saying he misses Bianca. Let's take her to see him."
"Sure." Olivia naturally agreed.
Having been in Harmony City for so many days, she'd been wanting to treat him to a meal.
Not to mention that night at the reception, Benjamin had helped her quite a bit.
As Olivia unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car, she didn't forget to remind him, "Drive carefully."
"Mm, okay." Andrew nodded and soon drove away.
After he left, Olivia also went inside.
At that moment, not far away, a car was parked under the shade of trees.
Inside the car was a young man holding up his phone, pointing it in Olivia's direction.
On the screen were photos he'd been taking all morning after following them.
Just as he was about to report the situation to someone, his car window was suddenly knocked on.
He was startled and quickly turned his head to find two burly men in black clothes standing outside his car, appearing from who knows where.
Just as he was about to ask what they wanted, they directly pulled open his car door and yanked him out.
"What are you doing?" The man was scared.
The bodyguard said coldly, "Hey, you've been following Mr. Hamilton all morning. Let me see what you've been photographing."
Without waiting for the man to refuse, he directly took his phone.
"Give me back my phone!" The man tried to grab it back, but was blocked by one of them.
The phone screen wasn't locked. It was full of photos of Andrew and Olivia, as well as Bianca together.
The two bodyguards' eyes darkened. They immediately held him down. "Tell us, what's your purpose? Who sent you?"
The man didn't speak, saying through gritted teeth, "No comment. Return my phone immediately. You're invading my privacy! I can call the police!"
The bodyguard laughed, "You were secretly photographing Mr. Hamilton first. The evidence is right here, and you want to play the victim?
Call the police? Are you looking for death?"
The bodyguards weren't so easily fooled.
One held him down while the other quickly went through his phone, checking for more information.
Finally, they discovered that some of the photos had already been sent out.
The recipient's WhatsApp account read: Aurelia.
It was Aurelia?
