Chapter 118 Whose Child is Bianca?
Terrence and Bronte immediately asked, "Do you have some kind of plan?"
Sophia nodded, a mischievous smile spreading across her face.
Early the next morning, after breakfast, the Brown family set off with generous gifts to visit the Johnson Villa.
Chase happened to be discharged from the hospital today, and Sophia came over to show her concern for him.
This really touched Chase's heart.
"Sophia, you're so good to me, not like that bitch Olivia."
Thinking about all the suffering he'd endured these past days, Chase ground his teeth in hatred.
Bronte said at just the right moment, "I heard before that Olivia was quite well-behaved. How come... she's actually like this? Was all that virtuous behavior just an act?"
Hearing this, Amelia got angry. "Back when Mom was alive, she had someone backing her up, so she pretended to be obedient. Once Mom died, her true colors showed!
Being able to marry into the Johnson family was already her good fortune.
Not only is that woman ungrateful, but she also dares to cause trouble, defy her elders, and disrupt the family harmony. She's absolutely hateful!"
Sophia immediately consoled her gently, "Mrs. Johnson, don't be angry. It's not worth damaging your health over this!"
Bronte chimed in, "When you marry a daughter-in-law, if she's virtuous and grateful, the household will be peaceful. If not, it really becomes chaotic!
Amelia, you've had it tough. With your status and position, you should be enjoying life, but now..."
She trailed off without continuing.
But the meaning in her words was clear; Olivia shouldn't stay.
Amelia wasn't stupid. She naturally caught the underlying message.
She immediately responded, "You're right. If it were Sophia, I definitely wouldn't need to worry about this. She's sweet and capable, and we're already old family friends. If the two kids had gotten married before, it would have strengthened our bond even more."
Chase added at the right time, "It's not too late now. Just kick Olivia out, right?"
Amelia didn't respond.
She naturally hoped Olivia would leave the Johnson family soon, but the problem was, she had given birth to Bianca.
No matter what, Bianca was still Johnson family blood.
However, Sophia had been waiting for exactly this moment.
She had been thinking about how to steer the conversation in this direction, but unexpectedly, Chase had helped her out.
She gave Bronte a look.
Bronte immediately understood and said, "Michael is a responsible father. He probably can't bear to part with Bianca, especially since Bianca has that condition."
Terrence then casually spoke up, "Speaking of which, how did Bianca get autism? There's never been this kind of condition in the Johnson family history. Bianca is so young, it feels like she was born with it.
Michael's always been so smart. When he was in school, he skipped grades multiple times and entered the company in his teens, making his mark right away!
It's such a shame Bianca didn't inherit that!"
His last sentence seemed regretful, but his intention was extremely malicious, every word hinting at something.
The speaker had intentions, and the listener paid attention.
Amelia's brow furrowed on the spot.
In the past, she had only felt dissatisfied with Bianca, always thinking this child couldn't be shown off and was embarrassing, afraid of gossip in their social circle.
But she had never thought about it from another angle.
Now, thinking carefully, she suddenly realized that Bianca didn't look like Michael at all.
There had never been any autism patients in the Johnson family, so how could they produce such offspring?
Then... was it possible that Bianca wasn't Johnson family blood at all?
At this thought, Amelia's expression turned pale!
Sophia saw her face darken and knew she'd achieved her goal.
Once a seed of doubt was planted in someone's heart, it grew taller and taller.
Especially since Amelia already disliked Olivia.
With just a little manipulation, it worked!
Later, after the Brown family left, Amelia angrily ordered the driver to prepare the car, then went straight to Olivia's residence.
Olivia hadn't gone out this morning and was organizing materials at home. She was a bit surprised to suddenly hear the doorbell.
She immediately went to open the door, but unexpectedly saw an unwelcome visitor.
Her brow furrowed as she asked, "Why are you here?"
Amelia was quite displeased with her attitude and said sternly, "Naturally, I have business to discuss with you. Aren't you going to invite me in to sit?"
Seeing her aggressive attitude, Olivia figured she was here to cause trouble and had no intention of letting her in. "Who gave you my home address?"
"In Emerald City, is there anything the Johnson family can't find out?" Amelia's expression was superior, her tone arrogant.
Inside, Vaughn and Victoria heard the conversation and found it somewhat familiar, so they came out to see what was happening.
When they saw it was Amelia, their expressions turned cold.
Victoria's tone was like she was talking to a stranger as she asked, "Mrs. Johnson, what do you want?"
Amelia felt anger rising.
What kind of attitude was this?
An ordinary family daring to act so proudly in front of her?
Olivia didn't want to waste time with anyone from the Johnson family and immediately asked coolly, "What exactly do you want? If there's nothing, please leave. You're not welcome here."
Amelia was furious and immediately scolded, "Olivia, you're still Michael's wife. Is this how you treat your elders?"
Olivia sneered, "If I remember correctly, I think I said before that I don't want this position. Whoever wants it can have it!"
"You..." Amelia was so choked up she could barely speak. Full of rage with nowhere to vent, she finally remembered why she'd come here, so she spoke without restraint, "Fine, since we're being frank, I don't need to save face for you either. Let me ask you, who did you have Bianca with?
She's definitely not Michael's child!
My son has been so outstanding since childhood. How could he possibly father an autistic idiot?
I suspect you betrayed Michael back then, so today I'm here to take Bianca for a paternity test!"
Olivia had expected Amelia to come looking for trouble, but never imagined it would be about this.
She actually doubted Bianca's identity?
Olivia could hardly believe it. "Amelia, what do you mean by that? I carried Bianca for ten months while I was at the Johnson family and gave birth to her. You were at the hospital that day, you saw her blood type with your own eyes... Now you're questioning her bloodline?"
By this point, she was burning with anger. "You are truly shameless! You rush to claim someone else's child as your grandson, then turn around and slander your own granddaughter. Are you even human?"
Vaughn and Victoria were also burning with rage.
Not seeing Olivia being bullied before was one thing, but now, right in front of them, she dared to say such humiliating things.
She wasn't just insulting Olivia's character, but also indirectly insulting Bianca's existence.
Victoria, who had been gentle her whole life, got angry for the first time. "Amelia, as the child's grandmother, how can you say such inhumane things?
Do you really think that because the Johnson family is wealthy, you can insult others at will? Even doubting your own granddaughter!
Do you think everyone is as shameless as your son? Cheating while married!"
Vaughn was even more furious. "Why waste words on this kind of person? Throw her out. Yara, get me the broom!"
Hearing this, Yara immediately brought it over efficiently.
After Vaughn took it, he immediately swung it at Amelia. "Get out of here, stop bringing bad luck to our home."
"What are you doing? Stop it..." Amelia never expected Victoria to get physical and hurriedly dodged.
Victoria, still angry, grabbed the broom and swung it hard at her several times.
Being hit, Amelia was furious, but without a weapon, she could only leave in the end.
