Chapter 49 Mr. Hamilton Made an Exception for Her

Chapter 49 Mr. Hamilton Made an Exception for Her

When Olivia saw the message, she immediately replied: [Bianca's been doing a bit better lately. I was wondering if we could send her to a special school now. Would it mess with her progress?]

However, Daviddidn't reply right away. Instead, he turned to consult Andrew, who had just finished a task nearby.

Since getting back to Harmony City, Andrew had been buried in work.

He hadn't had a proper rest for days and was just now catching a breather. He looked exhausted, reclining on the couch, rubbing his temples with one hand and holding his gold-rimmed glasses with the other.

Hearing the question, he thought for a few seconds, then raised his eyes slightly and said, "Yeah, she can go. Give her Benjamin White's contact info."

David was a bit surprised.

Benjamin was Andrew's childhood friend, and they were super close. They even studied the same major in college.

After graduation, Benjamin chose to work at a special school founded by a famous actress as a psychological counselor.

Recommending Bianca to him showed how seriously Andrew took this matter. Not many people got such a personal referral from him!

David quickly conveyed the message: [Mr. Hamilton says she can go!]

He added an address, the school's name, and a phone number: [Mr. White is Mr. Hamilton's friend, highly skilled, and can guide Bianca well. Dr. Garcia, you can take her there first.]

Olivia was stunned. What a coincidence!

The school mentioned was the same 'Cheerful Town Nursery' Evelyn had talked about before.

If even Andrew recommended it, the school must be reliable.

Olivia immediately replied: [Please thank Mr. Hamilton for me, and thank you as well. When you return to Emerald City, you must let me thank you properly.]

David responded: [No need to be so formal.] Then the conversation ended.

Olivia didn't bother them further, but she felt immensely grateful.

She decided to take Bianca to meet Benjamin the next morning.

Before bed, she told Evelyn about it.

Evelyn replied, "What a coincidence! I just finished looking into that school. It's pretty good. I was going to tell you tomorrow, but it seems you've already found out. Since it's recommended by Bianca's therapist, it must be the right choice. Let's take her there tomorrow. I'll go with you."

"Sure!" Olivia had no objections.

That night, she slept soundly.

The next morning, after breakfast, Olivia took Bianca to 'Cheerful Town Nursery' to meet Evelyn.

They quickly met up and entered the school together. Olivia took a look around. The buildings seemed no different from a typical preschool.

The exterior walls were painted in various colors, and the greenery was trimmed into shapes of small animals. Some play equipment was decorated with flowers and animals, and even the playground track was designed with a playful touch.

Evelyn, knowing more about the place, began to explain, "It might not look special, but every design here is by renowned designers. The color schemes and facilities are all intended for children with psychological issues. Even the plants are designed by famous horticulturists. And the interior was built based on psychologists' suggestions."

Hearing this, Olivia realized that the environment did seem more comforting.

They were already at the main building when they saw a tall figure standing at the entrance.

The man wore a simple white shirt and jeans, with a handsome face and slightly long hair, giving him a gentle and scholarly look.

Evelyn, always a fan of handsome men, couldn't take her eyes off him. "What a hunk!"

Before Olivia could react, the man stepped forward and said in a gentle voice, "Are you Ms. Garcia?"

Olivia immediately recognized the voice. It was Benjamin!

She quickly responded, "Hello, Mr. White. I'm Olivia! Were you waiting for us?"

"The school's pretty big, so I came to make sure you didn't get lost," Benjamin replied kindly, shaking her hand while discreetly observing Olivia with great curiosity.

He was indeed waiting out of sheer curiosity about who could make the usually aloof Andrew personally recommend them.

Olivia didn't know his thoughts and chatted with him gracefully, sincerely saying, "Mr. Hamilton should have told you about Bianca's situation. Her recovery will greatly depend on your help."

Benjamin withdrew his hand and replied calmly, "It's no trouble. It's what we teachers are here for."

He then turned to Bianca and said, "You must be Bianca. How about I give you a little gift?"

Bianca, a bit shy, didn't respond and looked at him warily. Benjamin didn't mind. Smiling, he performed a little trick, making a pink flower appear in his hand like magic. Bianca's eyes lit up with curiosity.

"Do you like it? It's for you," Benjamin said, placing the flower behind her ear.

Bianca, already very pretty, looked even more adorable with the flower.

"You look beautiful!" he complimented.

Bianca touched the flower and smiled shyly.

Watching Benjamin interact naturally with Bianca and quickly put her at ease, Olivia felt relieved. No wonder he was Andrew's friend. This school was definitely the right choice.

She couldn't help but wonder if Andrew was as kind and gentle as Benjamin.

No, Andrew must be even nicer to help a stranger's child so much.

While she was lost in thought, Benjamin and Bianca had already bonded. He turned to Olivia, saying, "Let's take Bianca for a tour to see if she feels comfortable here."

Olivia agreed, "Thank you!"

Benjamin led the way slowly, guiding Bianca to get used to the environment while observing her reactions.

Olivia noticed that the inside of the school was much more complex than it appeared from the outside, with various rooms designed to simulate different environments for psychological testing.

Throughout the tour, Benjamin's focus was entirely on Bianca, even encouraging her to interact with other children.

He occasionally took notes, showing his dedication, which reassured Olivia.

After two hours, Benjamin announced, "Based on this morning's observations, Bianca is cautious but not resistant to new environments. This is a good sign, so the school will accept her. Ms. Garcia, please bring the necessary documents and materials tomorrow for registration."

Olivia was overjoyed. "Thank you so much."

Benjamin waved it off, "It's my duty."

Later, Olivia gratefully left with Bianca and Evelyn. Benjamin immediately called Andrew.

Andrew, still resting, answered with a tired and cold voice, "What?"

Benjamin, curious, asked, "What's your relationship with Ms. Garcia?"

Andrew frowned and asked indifferently, "Did she go to the school? How did it go?"

Benjamin replied, "She passed the test and got admitted. But you haven't answered my question! What's your relationship with her? In all the years I've known you, I've rarely seen you ask for help. Why did you make an exception this time?"
