Chapter 13 Planning for Yourself, Kicking Him Out
Aiden put on his best innocent face and said, "Uncle Michael, I didn't mean to cause all this trouble. It was an accident... But I can fix it, I promise. Please don't be mad, and don't send me away, okay?"
His voice was dripping with a pitiful tone, and his apologetic look seemed sincere.
He was acting completely different than he did in front of Olivia.
But Olivia had already seen through his act.
A kid who would run up to someone he just met and call Bianca an idiot—how could that be an accident?
Just a few minutes ago, he was bossing around Daddy Michael, and now he was playing the victim in front of Michael.
How could someone so young be so manipulative?
Olivia was fuming.
Especially when she saw Bianca's favorite pink fox toy, now completely trashed. It made her even angrier.
Bianca loved that toy so much. If she found out it was broken, she'd be heartbroken.
Furious, Olivia said coldly, "Get out... Just get out! And don't ever come near Bianca again!"
Aiden's eyes filled with tears immediately.
He started crying, trying to defend himself, "I... I really didn't mean to, Aunt Olivia. Please don't be mad! Uncle Michael, believe me, I just love this playroom so much. I don't have one at home. So I got carried away."
Michael's heart softened instantly. He was extremely displeased with Olivia's attitude. "Olivia, have you lost your mind? Kicking a kid out like this? Boys are naturally a bit more mischievous. He apologized, didn't he?
Is it really necessary to get so worked up and speak so harshly?"
Olivia felt like something heavy had hit her heart, leaving her both frustrated and hurt.
She was deeply disappointed in Michael.
"Michael, do you not understand Bianca's condition? Do you not know how important this playroom is to her? Whenever she has an episode, coming here helps her calm down.
Now Aiden has destroyed it, and yet you still defend him?
Is Bianca your daughter, or is he your son? How can you be so biased?
Or have you simply stopped considering Bianca as your daughter?"
Olivia's final question was sharp as a knife.
No matter how cold and indifferent Michael was towards her, she could tolerate it.
But Bianca was his daughter, and he treated her so heartlessly.
Michael's face darkened, his handsome features shadowed by anger. "You're being completely unreasonable! It's just a playroom. Do you have to blow it out of proportion?"
Olivia looked at him with utter disappointment.
She had never felt so weary of Michael.
Even seeing him with Sophia, hugging and being intimate, didn't make her feel this strongly.
But at this moment, she couldn't forgive him.
She had to face the truth.
Michael didn't care about her, nor did he care about Bianca.
Otherwise, he wouldn't be so dismissive.
Olivia closed her eyes, not wanting to argue any further. "There's no reasoning with you. Now, take him out of here. And don't let him near my daughter again. Bianca doesn't need friends like him!"
Michael's face was icy, like it was covered in frost.
He was extremely displeased with Olivia's attitude and was about to say something more.
But Olivia turned and went back to her room without looking back.
Michael's suppressed anger simmered in his chest, and it took him a moment to let out a breath.
He had been too lenient with Olivia lately!
That's why she thought she could throw tantrums and openly defy him!
Even in business, she had been scheming against Sophia!
And now, she couldn't even tolerate Aiden.
How had he not noticed before that she was so petty?
Michael was furious.
Aiden seemed to sense his mood change. He carefully tugged at Michael's finger and said with an apologetic look, "Uncle Michael, I'm sorry. I made Aunt Olivia mad, and that's why she dislikes me. I won't come to play with Bianca anymore.
Please don't be mad, and don't hate me, okay? I like you so much! And if my mom finds out, she'll be sad too!
Before she left, she told me to be polite to Aunt Olivia, but I didn't do it."
As he spoke, his small mouth quivered, and he looked as pitiful as possible.
Michael couldn't bring himself to blame him.
He immediately raised his hand and ruffled Aiden's hair, comforting him gently. "Don't worry, I don't hate you. I like you a lot, Aiden. Just ignore her. We'll have someone clean up the playroom later.
When we get back, I'll explain everything to your mom so she won't be upset!
In the future, I'll arrange for you and Bianca to play together. Now, let's go pick up your mom, okay? We're going to see your new house and have dinner together."
"Okay!" Aiden nodded, wiping away his tears and looking obedient. "I knew you were the best, Uncle Michael!"
Michael smiled and didn't linger at home any longer. He grabbed his coat and left with Aiden.
Aiden let him hold his hand.
Before leaving, he glanced back at the room, a triumphant smile curling on his lips.
He had deliberately provoked Olivia today, causing a fight between her and Michael.
When he got back, his mom would definitely reward him!
What should he ask for?
A Transformers toy!
And a trip to the amusement park.
If Michael had looked down at that moment, he would have seen the mischievous glint in Aiden's eyes.
Inside the house, Bianca was still on the couch watching cartoons, unaware of what had happened outside.
Olivia's face was tense, not wanting Bianca to notice, so she stepped out onto the balcony to get some air.
After standing there for a while, she saw Michael and Aiden leaving.
She watched as the Michael who had just been so cold to her now gently helped Aiden into the back seat.
Olivia also noticed a bouquet of vibrant red roses on the other seat.
She overheard Aiden say, "These flowers are so pretty. Are they for my mom?"
Michael replied, "Yes."
Olivia's eyes turned cold and numb.
In four years of marriage, he had never given her anything.
She was completely disillusioned with Michael.
From now on, she would focus on planning for herself and Bianca!
She thought again about the divorce papers.
Michael had changed his clothes, so he must have been in the bedroom. Why hadn't he mentioned anything about them?
Had he not seen them?
If he had seen them, he wouldn't have had no reaction at all!
With these questions in mind, Olivia turned to the master bedroom to look for the papers.
But the nightstand was empty!
