Chapter # 115
ELIANA’S POV:-
Everything happened so rapidly that my mind was hazy about what happened and to think I fell for Denzel again.
It was so aesthetically pleasing but also romantic.
God Lord, the way he flirted with me, I wondered why he didn’t do this before? He sways me along his rhythm immaculately.
But, now, we were back to our lives where he didn’t have to struggle to have me.
Where all of his was mine and all of me was his…
“... So that’s what happened,”
Ending in a sigh, Denzel told me everything about him and Armiz’s bond.
It was disheartening to hear how two brothers were separated because of her.
They didn’t deserve it.
Stopping in my tracks, my eyes shrinked on his handsome face, studying it for a moment that perplexed him.
“What?”
“Are you seriously not going to talk to him and stay angry forever?”
I found it extremely hard to believe from what I heard.
Denzel, the one who loved his brother dearly, now refuses to melt his heart.
Although I agree Armiz’s words were harsh yet… that unforgiving?
“Scars of the soul are hard to heal. I doubt we could ever be how we used to be.”
True that, I couldn’t argue with that. Those words must have pierced his heart to an unrecoverable point.
“Besides, indirectly he had made my life a hell, sorry, darling, but your mate isn’t that merciful,” He enunciated as I furrowed my brows, giving him a questioning look.
“Really?”
“My heart is not convinced and you can’t make me too,” He smirked, poking my cheek to drop that stare.
“Okay, okay, jeez you are stubborn,”
I knew I could convince him but it would take him. I didn’t want to continue holding tainted hearts.
“Thank you,” He smiled.
Pecking my lips as we walked in the courtyard, together, right beside each other and there was no soul to stop us from this sweet moment.
“Anyways, now that our most trouble is gone, can we please decide on a school for our sons?” I asked in a sigh, getting worried about their education now.
“Not yet,”
“Then?”
To my belief, most of our problems were solved then what was left?
“Not until we get married at least.” Ah, that, the most important event.
With a blush rising to my cheek, I couldn’t help but to grin and avert my gaze shyly.
“I have been dying to see you as MY bride, not someone else’s, mine. Kiss you before everyone, calling you ‘my’ wife,”
He stood before me, taking my hand and placing it over his heart. Linking our heartbeats in a magical symphony.
“Sure, sure, I have already stolen your heart, your life, feelings and money, it only leaves your name,” I winked, blowing a kiss at him.
Gripping his shirt, I brought him near me, licking my lips seductively.
“With pleasure, all of my is yours, take me,”
Breaking into a giggle, I pinched his cheeks, creating a mellow moment between us, indicating our life was back on tracks.
Pulling away a little, we continued our walk, filled with blithe and tranquility.
My hands were behind me, humming to myself until a question popped in my mind.
“Although I don’t understand one thing, Denzel,”
“Hmm?”
“If it wasn’t you or Armiz who left me at the courtyard, then who did it?” I paused, holding my chin.
“I don’t know either, but, whoever this is won’t sit back quietly, that I know for sure,” He declared, placing his hand over my shoulder and pressing me into him.
“Let’s hope it won’t be… dangerous. I don’t want another scar on my baby’s face, seeing Matthew like this is breaking my heart.” I whispered, holding my dress in compassion.
The scar on his face broke my heart. It was painful, it broke my heart that my baby boy got hurt and I failed to protect him.
I couldn’t do anything for him and it shattered my heart.
My poor son…
“We should be grateful that his vision is working and no permanent damage was caused,”
“But… I was there and couldn’t do anything,”
“You are a human against an Alpha, what could you have possibly done, Darling? Don’t look for stupid reasons to blame yourself,” He whispered, tightening his grip on me.
“Plus, our Matthew is a prodigy. He survived the fight and is playing right now. We should be proud of that,”
“I most definitely am. Our sons are so brave,”
“Like their father.”
He winked as he chuckled and in that moment, our wee angels came, rushing to me as I hugged them because it could never be enough.
“Mama!”
“Ah, my boys! I missed you so much, now you guys are here, I feel complete,”
I grinned, kissing their forehead, not wanting to spend a second without them.
“We missed you too, don’t leave us like this again,”
“I will never, I will never go away from you guys,”
The sole reason I survive those five years in solitude, my smiles, my beloved sons.
In those years, I didn’t leave their side once so thinking that I was gone for a month and didn’t greet them was highly painful.
“By the way, have you guys seen a wedding?” Denzel popped from behind playfully.
“Yeah, we went to one or two of Mama’s friends when we were alone,” They nodded.
“Do you want Mama and Papa to get married?”
“You guys are getting married!?”
“Does that mean you guys will kiss too?” Anthony asked, turning to Matthew as they both made repulsed faces.
“....Yes,”
“Ew, that’s disgusting,”
The second they said it, Denzel grinned, resting his elbow over my shoulder playfully.
“Really? Mama can kiss you on the forehead but I can’t do the same?”
“But they kiss on the lips,”
“I won’t, I will do it on the forehead, okay?”
“Really?”
“Yes. And besides, I have already gone far beyond-”
“Denzel!” I gasped, lowering my shoulder that almost caused him to fall.
“What?”
Breaking into a laugh, he pulled me into a side hug as I couldn’t help but to laugh back timidly, sharing a soothing moment with my family.
“What?” The boys blinked, failing to comprehend.
As we were together, feeling the sensation of being completed and happy, filled with grins, another sound joined us.
“Hey,”
Armiz came and it brought a frown on Denzel’s face.
“May I know the purpose of your visit?”
I glared, shaking my head to not do this, calling him softly, “Denzel,”
“What?” Yet he remained stubborn.
Okay, I agree Armiz was wrong but I say, what did he have left in this world?
His son Albert was in a coma with no hopes of waking up.
He had no one to call family too plus the guilt that had been gobbling him.
So I felt compassion for him- too much to Denzel’s disapproval.
“It’s alright, Eliana. I.. uh, I was hoping to go to the park for a walk and if Matthew and Anthony will-”
“No,” Denzel said.
I said, “Yes,”
Denzel turned to me with disbelief, “What?”
“I want to go to the park too, Denzel, you will go back to work tomorrow, let’s have some family time,” I enunciated, putting my hand in the air.
He narrowed his eyes questioningly at me but before my radiant grin, he was left defeated and sighed.
“Fine, let’s go-”
Before our plan to go out and have fun take flight, Lucas hurriedly came with horror plastered on his face, distressing all of us.
“Alpha!”
“What happened, Lucas?”
“Kyle…”
He panted, the expressions on his face gave the bad news already, deepening the grimace on both brother’s faces.
“What happened to him?”
I formed my lips in a thin line out of dismal.
“Someone broke him out of the dungeon,”
“I will teach that mother-”
Denzel was about to curse but Armiz gave him an odd stare that made him close his mouth and he stopped.
“I will go,”
“No, this has to be a trap where you leave Eliana alone and attack them. You stay here, I will check,” Armiz suggested.
“You don’t have to do that. I don’t need you-”
Denzel hissed, stopping him from interfering but he narrowed his eyes hopelessly.
“Please, let me do something, at least,”
“... Fine,”
Exchanging a nod with Lucas, Armiz left with him as Denzel cursed under his breaths so the boys won’t hear.
"Tsk,"
He was highly displeased, gritting his teeth.
That asshole Kyle had sworn to distress us till the very end!
I was having a bad feeling about it, holding onto the boys closely, I prayed desperately for things to be fine and these troubles end for us.
But, I knew as long as Denzel was with me, nothing could harm us.
