So, my stylist liked to have so many pieces of clothing in my closet that there were times it was hard to choose what I wanted to wear.
I walked around my closet to check which dress suited me. There was one dress that caught my eye. It was actually the dress that William bought for me last year for my birthday that I still hadn't worn. So, I decided to wear it for today's event.
I grabbed the dress and my red heels and put them on the counter. I put them on, headed out of the closet, and went back to my room to grab my phone.
As I was reaching for it, my phone rang. I saw that it was my manager calling me.
"Hi, Mrs. Millie, what can I do for you?"
"Hey, Rebecca! I'm calling to inform you that you got the deal with Mr. Plo. He says that he wants you at his studio in about thirty minutes to start the photoshoot."
Oh my god, I got the deal with the famous photographer!
I said, excited, "I can't believe it. But the problem now is that I have guests coming to the wolf pack, and I'm afraid that I can't make it."
She hesitated for a while. "Okay. How about I ring him up and say that you are only available for two hours and have to go somewhere after that?"
"Sure, and thanks for your help in getting me that deal."
She said, "No problem! Now, you better go to his studio right now to start!"
I said goodbye to her, headed out of my room, and went into William's room. He was still sleeping like always, so I decided to wake him up in another way. I straddled his waist and moved my head to his neck to kiss him there.
After doing that for five minutes, his hand was on my hips, and he said, "Good morning, baby. I love the way you woke me up today. You should wake me up like this every day but also sleep with me."
I stopped kissing his neck. "Good morning. How many times have I told you that I do not want to sleep with you? I don't want anyone to think that I sleep with you because you are an Alpha."
He kissed my forehead and chuckled. "No one will think like that. They know that you are mine ever since you dated me."
I giggle. "Anyway, I need to go to the studio right now to have my photoshoot. I'll be back around two hours later."
William frowned and said, "Do you have to go? How about the plan?"
I kissed his lips and said, "I have to go, but the plan will still go on. It will just be much later. I will ring you up when I'm about to arrive."
William smiled and kissed me. "You better be on time, or else our guests will miss the fun!"
I smirked and pulled away. "I'm always having fun!" With that, I walked away.
I went to the entrance and saw that my bodyguard, Romeo, was already there.
"Good morning, Romeo. Can you please take me to Mr. Plo's studio?"
He smiled and said, "Good morning to you too, Rebecca! Okay, sure."
He opened the door for me to enter the car, and once I entered, he closed the door and went to the driver's seat.
William's POV:
After Rebecca left, I took a shower and put on my clothes before the guests arrived. While I was putting my clothes on, someone knocked on my door, and I told them to enter.
My beta, Ryan, came in and said, "Alpha William, the guests have arrived."
I nodded my head in response, looked at the mirror, and said with a smirk, "Let's go get this party started."
I walked to the entrance with Ryan and saw Alpha Blake shaking hands with my sister. I patted his shoulder and said with a big smile, "Welcome, Alpha Blake. Welcome to our party."
He shook my hand. "It's a pleasure to be invited."
"Where's your Luna?" I asked.
He frowned. "That is another topic for next time. I am here today with some of my pack members."
I faked a smile and continued. "Okay then, let's have lunch now and discuss our alliance."
"Sure, let's go."
I led him to our dining room, but the weird thing was why Rebecca's adopted sister was not here. I guess I had to ask him again when the time was right.
When we reached the dining room, I announced, "Welcome, everyone. I am Alpha William. Please, have a seat."
My sister sat beside me while Alpha Blake sat on my other side.
While we were eating, I wondered how Alpha Blake could be so cruel to Rebecca by rejecting her for her adopted sister. Suddenly, my sister's mind started telling me, "Don't act up right now. Please calm yourself down. I can feel your wolf getting agitated."
I calmed myself down by remembering the times Rebecca smiled.
I mind-linked my sister. "He will regret what he did to Rebecca, and we will make sure that he will remember it forever."
"Yes, he will. For now, let's enjoy eating."
I mind-linked Ryan. "After lunch, lead everyone to the ballroom. I will call Rebecca to ask her whether she is coming here soon."
Ryan replied, "Okay, Alpha William."
Suddenly, my phone rang, and I said to everyone, "Sorry, I have to take this important call."
I glanced at Ryan and gave him my signal.
I went into my room and picked up the call. "Hey, Rebecca. Are you coming now?"
"Hey, I am coming now, but we are currently in some traffic, so be there in 20 minutes."
"Okay, I will buy you some time."
"Start the music once you smell me. Then, introduce me to everyone, and I will come up to the stage and prepare to sing."
I smirked. "It's going to be fun. See you later, bye!"
"Bye," she said and hung up.
I put my phone in my pocket and mumbled, "Let this revenge start."
Unknown POV:
I walked up to him and snarled, "Why haven't we made a move on her yet!"
He slammed his fist on his desk. "Watch what you are saying! I am the leader here. You shouldn't order me to do things, little wolf."
I submitted myself and lowered my tone. "Okay. So, what's the plan, then?"
"I have someone in mind who can help us."
"Okay. I want to make a deal with you. After you get here, you can either kill her, or you can keep her to yourself. But I want the guy to be alive. I want him by my side."
"I accept this deal. But on one condition."
I raised my eyebrow. "What is it?"
He looked at me emotionlessly. "I want you to accept my rejection."
"Gladly."
