Chapter 92

Angelina POV…

It's been so many days that I have been living here, so I wanted to seek employment. I was walking out of the gleaming skyscraper, my heart was beating fast in my chest. I had just submitted my application for an architect job at the most prestigious company in Huawei. I knew that my chances of getting the job were slim, but I had to try for myself. I had to support myself and my unborn child. I had to spend money on hospital bills, so I would need lots of money.

I have been applying for architect jobs all over Huawei for weeks now, but I have been unsuccessful so far. I was starting to feel discouraged, but I refused to give up. I would not give up on getting a job.

I took a deep breath and started walking. I had money, but not that much. I wanted to save for my baby. I had to keep trying. I had to find a job. I knew that I could get any job, but I wanted something secure for myself.

I spent the rest of the day submitting my applications to every other best company in Huawei. I knew that it was a long shot, but I had to try. I had to provide for my child. Ava helped me a lot by giving me the names of the best companies.

I went home, feeling exhausted but hopeful. I had done everything I could do. Now, I just had to wait and see. I submitted my documents to more than one company.

The next few weeks were agonizing for me. I checked my email and voicemail every hour, hoping for a response from one of the companies I had applied to. But there was nothing. Not a single company had contacted me back.

I was starting to lose hope. I was running out of money and I didn't know what to do. I couldn't ask more from mom and dad. Everything was taking a toll on me.

One day, I was checking my email when I saw a new message from one of the companies I had applied to. It was an interview request. I was so happy that I cried because finally, something was going to be good in my life.

I couldn't believe it. I had finally gotten an interview. I was so damn happy, and Ava wished me luck.

I spent the next few days preparing for my interview. I practiced answering common interview questions, and I researched the company thoroughly. I was nervous the first time, it was Lorenzo was helped me.

On the day of the interview, I was nervous but excited. I knew that this was my chance to make a good impression and land the job. I was ready to face the new challenges.

I walked into the interview room and sat down across from the interviewer. There were many people, I was getting hopeless because all looked so composed and calm.

“Hello, Angelina,” the interviewer said. “Thank you for coming in today.”

“Thank you for having me,” I said politely.

The interviewer asked me a series of questions about my experience and qualifications. I answered each question confidently and articulately. I even told them that I was an intern at VL Enterprises.

At the end of the interview, the interviewer smiled.

“Thank you for your time, Angelina,” she said. “We'll be in touch.”

I walked out of the interview room feeling hopeful now. I knew that I had done my best. Now, I just had to wait and see. I was excited about my job.

A few days later, I received a phone call from the company. I had gotten the job!

I was so happy and relieved. I finally had a job and I could finally support myself and my hospital bells.

I started working as an architect at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., a Chinese multinational technology company that designs, develops, and sells telecommunications equipment, consumer electronics, and network technology. It was the best company in Hawaii.

Huawei is one of the largest telecommunications equipment companies in the world, and it has a significant presence in Huawei, China. The company has several office buildings in Huawei, and I was assigned to work on the design of a new office building for the company.

I was excited to be working for Huawei, and I was determined to do my best. I knew that the company had high standards, and I was eager to meet those standards.

I started my new job the following week. I was excited to start this new chapter in my life. I knew that I was going to be a great architect.

I worked hard at my new job. I was determined to prove myself. I quickly earned the respect of my colleagues and my supervisors. They were so friendly. I was a talented and dedicated architect, and I was passionate about my work. I love my work.

My life was far from perfect, but I was happy. I had a job, I had a roof over my head, and I had my unborn child.

I knew that I would have to face challenges in the future, but I was confident that I could overcome them. I was a strong, independent woman, and I was determined to build a good life for myself and my unborn child.

I was finally happy with my new job at Huawei. I was learning a lot, and I was making a difference in the company. I was also making a good living, and I was able to support my expenses.

Despite my small success at Huawei, I still missed Lorenzo and my parents. I knew that I would never forget them, but I was determined to build a good life here.

I was quick to settle into my new role. I was assigned to a team of architects who were working on a new office building. I was immediately impressed by the talent and dedication of my colleagues. There is so much talent.

I worked hard on the project. I was eager to learn and to contribute to the team. I had gained everyone's respect as they all discussed everything with me regarding new designs, and I was happy.

I had been so focused on finding a job and supporting myself and my unborn that I hadn't had time to think about anything else. Life had made me a mature woman at such a small age.

But now, that I have settled into my new routine, I started to miss my loved ones. I missed Lorenzo's smile and his laugh. I missed my parents' warm embrace. I missed my hometown, I missed my bestie.

I knew that I couldn't go back to my old life. I had made my choice, and I had to live with it. But I still missed Lorenzo and his over-protectiveness and his possessiveness.

One day, I was working on a design for the new office building when I started to think about Lorenzo. I remembered the first time I saw him. I was coming down the stairs, and he was sitting with my parents in our living room. When Mom asked him to join us for dinner, Lorenzo walked in and sat down at the table next to me. He smirked at me and then when they were not watching, he winked at me.

My heart had melted. I was immediately smitten with Lorenzo. He was so handsome, so beautiful. His features were to die for. He was wonderful.

We started dating soon after that, I sent an unknown request to him to be my daddy, and then I quickly fell in love. We had spent hours talking and laughing. We have traveled to so many places together. We had shared so many happy memories.

I knew that I couldn't go back to Lorenzo. He had hurt me too deeply. But I still loved him. I still missed him.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I knew that I had to move on, but it was not easy. I had to focus on my new life and my new job. I had to be strong for my child.

I opened my eyes and looked at the design of the new office building. I smiled because I was proud of my work.

I started working on my design again. I was determined to create the best office building possible. I was determined to prove myself in my new company. I was determined to build a good life here.
