Even though Liam was the most annoying and arrogant human I have ever met in my life, he was still my boss, and most of all I needed the money.

To think of the fact that I had to play along with Silver just to please Liam because I knew if I didn’t the contract with Silver could go south and Liam would pay a compensation fee for wasting Silver's time. Liam didn’t even appreciate it.

I saw no reason why I should waste my time falling for someone like him so I decided to erase all thoughts of me ever loving him from my head.

I knew I would still find love again, so I decided to keep an open mind and give love a chance. At least that would help speed the healing of the heartbreak Lucas and Chloe caused me.

When Silver sent Eve’s assistant to me with all the travel bags filled with the used for the photo shoot I was utterly surprised. Could this also be stated in the contract? I asked myself as I frowned.

Of course, I rejected the outfits but the girl said Silver insisted that the outfits be handed over to me. I had to do what I thought was right, which was to seek Liam’s permission first.

“ Sir, should I accept the gift? “ I asked him even though I decided to keep my distance from him and talk to him only when necessary.

But he just pretended as though he didn’t hear me. Which meant he wasn’t in support of me accepting the gift. So I turned to Eve’s assistant who stood watching us with an unreadable expression on her face.

“ I’ll accept the gift only if my boss agrees to it. Why don’t you ask him yourself, “ I said to Eve’s assistant who sighed. I was sorry about the way I was stressing her.

But I didn’t want a situation whereby I'd accept the gift and Liam would begin making my job a lot more difficult and emotionally draining than it already was.

“ Mr Taylor, please she needs to accept this gift else I’ll lose my job, “ Eve’s assistant said with a pleading look on her face. My eyes widened in surprise as I heard what she said and Liam’s head shot up from his phone which he was busy with.

“ I accept it, “ I said immediately and she smiled gratefully at me. Consequences be damned because I didn’t wanna be part of the reason someone would lose her job.

If I could endure my previous boss at the flower shop, I had the confidence that I could endure whatever difficulty I might face with Liam.

“ Mr. Driver, please open the boot so we can put the luggage in it, “ I said to the driver who clicked a button and I heard the sound of the boat opening.

I wanted to get out of the car and help Eve’s assistant put the travel bags in the boot of the car but she vehemently refused.

“ Don’t worry the crew will help me, “ She said and walked away. I let out a huge breath that I didn’t even know I was holding before I turned to Liam. All I wanted to do right now was just to get some quality rest and sleep.

“ About what you asked me previously Sir. My answer is no, I’m not a prostitute, “ I said to Liam with a displeased look on my face. I began to wonder what I was doing falling for such an ungrateful asshole like him.

There was a look on his face that I couldn’t decipher but I didn’t care anymore. From now on I will squash my feelings and not let them get in the way of my job. It’d be strictly work from now on.

I ignored Liam and got busy scrolling through social media and I came across short clips that were posted by Silver’s company official page.

But what I didn’t expect were the so many likes and wows that the post of videos during the photo shoot got. I was so occupied with it that I didn’t even know when we arrived at the airport and that it was also already getting dark.

“ We’ve arrived at the airport, “ Liam tapped me to get my attention before he informed me.

“ Alright Sir, “ I said in a much more formal way than I normally did which made him frown. I got out of the car and proceeded to the boot of the car to bring down the travel bags but members of the crew present helped me bring them down.

Minutes after that, Liam and I were safely in his private plane with our seatbelts strapped around us as the plane took off. I looked at my window as I saw how beautiful the city just left was from above. 

Oh, did I forget to mention that Liam’s company's crew in charge of photoshoots had their plane too? Yeah, Liam had a plane that took them to any country they were supposed to shoot in. What I also found awesome was that the name of his company was designed on the body of the plane.

Surprisingly during the flight the air hostess or flight attendant was a different girl from the one who was all over Liam and they went to fuck when we were coming for the shoot. This new Air hostess was someone who hardly smiled much because one could easily tell that the smiles she was giving us were forced.

“ Where is Aniyah, “ Liam asked the new Air hostess. I was interested to know where her whereabouts too so I listened in on their conversation even though Liam was trying to talk in hushed tone.

“ She resigned Sir, “ The lady said and served us dinner before walking away.

Liam sighed and massaged his forehead before he began to eat his dinner. I ate my dinner happily although I dared not show my happiness. At least one of us wouldn't have fun leaving the other behind and he would leave his dick in his trousers.

Liam and I hadn’t said a word to each other since we got on the plane. I knew this was how it was going to be from now on, I would only talk to him when necessary. So I made up my mind to start getting used to the silence.

After dinner, the lady came to carry the plates and went away. In no time I was already drifting to sleep with a smile on my face.



I felt a hand tapping me on my shoulders and I groaned because I hadn’t slept to my satisfaction yet. I was so exhausted and needed to sleep that I found it difficult to open my eyes even though the person trying to wake me up was persistent.

I opened my eyes and the person I didn’t expect to be tapping me was standing right in front of me. It wasn’t Liam like I expected it would be. It was someone else.
