Sixteen

Alex's expression became darker. He did not say anything and just looked at Olivia.

Olivia looked back at him with an innocent look and said, 'Boss, I don't know what he is talking about!' She cried in her mind.

"You actually believe his words?" Olivia asked Alex with a hurt expression.

Alex looked at her, but he did not soften. He just looked at her.

"But you were at the hospital today," The bodyguard holding Ethan said, looking at her indignantly. They are all close to Alex, so they are able to express their opinions freely. They grew up under the wings of Alex.

Olivia looked at the bodyguard, who was also looking at her fearlessly.

"That is enough," Alex said to the bodyguard.

The bodyguard finally looked away indignantly. "I just don't want this woman to bewitch you again. That is why I said so," He said.

"I said that was enough," Alex said in a stern voice.

The bodyguard bit his lips unwillingly and looked at Olivia. Olivia sighed. Why did he make it look like she snatched her husband? He looked like a little wife. She could not hold back her laughter and laughed loudly.

Alex looked at her, confused about why she was laughing.

Olivia pointed at the bodyguard and said, "He is so funny. He looked like a little wife who needs her husband's attention but cannot get it," She said.

The bodyguard was stunned and then angry. 'Is she implying that I am gay?' He thought. "I am straight!" He said it loudly; his face was all red as he blushed.

Olivia smiled and said, "I know even if you are not straight. I am sure Alex will not fancy you," She said.

Alex's lips curled up in a smile, but it quickly fell, and he acted indifferently.

Olivia looked at Alex and said, "It is true that I went to the hospital, but I only went there because a nurse told me about a perfume that makes the soul relax. So I thought about getting it for my grandparents. It is not what you think," She said softly. Alex was stunned and looked at her; he did not say anything. She could not tell whether he believed her or not.

Olivia glared at him and said, "I cannot believe that you believe whatever they said just because they told you. That means you believe people more than me?" She said it with an aggrieved expression.

Alex was shocked. He tried to grab her, but Olivia avoided him. "Since you believe whatever outsiders tell you, Then you can go and meet them then," She said, standing up.

Hey, there is evidence of you going to the hospital." The bodyguard said he obviously did not believe her and thought she was just finding an excuse to bewitch his boss again.

Olivia glared at him fiercely. "You want me to beat you up?" She asked him, narrowing her eyes.

The bodyguard's eyes twitched; he did not know how she could become so fierce. "You..." he exclaimed, looking at her in disbelief. He stuttered. He could not say anything because if he said yes and she really beat him up, he would not be able to retaliate. He will be courting death by doing so.

He fell speechless.

Ethan did not know what to say; he just looked at them. He could not even interrupt; he was still here, and they acted like he did not even exist at all.

Olivia looked at Alex and pouted. She turned away and ran upstairs to her room.

Alex looked at Ethan thoughtfully. He motioned for the bodyguard standing at the entrance.

The bodyguard immediately walked towards him. Boss," He said.

"Get me the hospital footage again," He said.

Eric, his personal assistant, walked into the living room. He carried his phone and walked towards him. He gave it to Alex.

Alex watched the hospital footage; he was stunned when he saw the end. He raised his head and looked at Eric. "Why did you not tell me that she left the hospital and all she went to do was meet the nurse?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at him.

Eric shivered. "Boss, before I can tell you, you already got into the car and asked the driver to drive away," he said, feeling wronged.

Alex glared at him. He was also at fault because he did not watch the footage to the end.

"I think you don't like your job anymore, or you've already got another job? Why are you my personal assistant?" He asked him.

Eric lowered his head, but he was feeling wronged. How was it his fault? Being his assistant also means he is at risk of getting killed at any time. Sigh sigh. He is so tired, He thought.

Alex stood up. He looked at the bodyguard who was holding Ethan. "Take him away," He said.

"Should I let him go, sir?" The bodyguard asked,

Alex looked at Ethan, contemplating. "Teach him a good lesson so whenever he sees Olivia, he will run," He said.

Ethan was shocked. "You already confirmed that she did not come and visit me. You should let me go; this is illegal," He said.

"Close his mouth; he will disturb Olivia and scare her," Alex said, ignoring him.

Ethan wanted to talk again, but the bodyguard immediately stuffed clothes in his mouth. Alex walked to the stairs. He climbed the staircase.

Eric looked at Ethan and said, "Make sure to teach him a very good lesson. It is all his fault for misleading us and making us get scolded," Eric said, gritting his teeth.

The bodyguard nodded in understanding; he also felt the same way, and he hates Ethan. Even though he dislikes Olivia because he thought she was just a foolish woman, they are deceiving her, and she did not even know that she was getting deceived. But he disdained Ethan for following a woman just because of what she had to offer. Sometimes he even wondered what exactly his boss saw in Olivia that made him keep trying to get her, and she was so blind and fell in love with a scum.

When his boss was so perfect and she was not even compatible with his Boss in terms of power and wealth too. There are better ladies out there that are compatible with his Boss, but his Boss insisted on a blind woman. The bodyguard dragged Ethan out of the house. Ethan could not say anything because there were clothes in his mouth and his hands were held by the bodyguard too. He was terrified; his face was pale.
