Eleven

She dipped her hand into her pocket and brought out her phone. She glanced at the screen and saw that the caller was Ethan. She frowned, and even the man beside her turned chilly instantly. She shivered and immediately put her phone on the table. She looked at him with an innocent expression, as if she did not notice his temperament change.

Yeah, I do," She said.

Her phone rang again. She frowned, feeling irritated. She took it and glanced at the screen; it was Emily this time.

She really did not want to answer her call, but she did not want them to suspect her too much. She already knew what they planned to do if they suddenly changed their plans, which was bad for her because she would not know what their plan was. But now that she knew, but they did not know that she knew, she would be able to catch them off guard and retaliate without being too obvious.

She looked at Alex and smiled apologetically at him. She answered the call and put the phone in her ear.

"Hello," She said.

"Olivia, why did you not answer Ethan's call? You should forget about all of these for now. I know you are probably mad at him because of what happened the other time. Something happened, and this is really serious," She said with a sigh.

Olivia raised an eyebrow. Oh, what is it?" She asked her with a smile.

"Ethan has had an accident, and he has been rushed to the hospital," Emily said.

"So? Am I the doctor that will treat him?" Olivia asked with a frown on her face.

Emily choked when she heard this: "Uh, you are not worried about him? But I am serious; you should know I will never lie to you about this," Emily said in a gentle voice.

Olivia sighed. Okay, I am on my way," She said to her.

"That is good; he has been calling you names even though he is in a coma. I can see that he is really in love with you," Emily said again.

Oh," Olivia said, and she hung up, feeling disgusted at the way they were acting. She thought she would be able to act normal like nothing happened, but she was not sure she would be able to. Her blood was boiling for revenge, and she was not sure she would be able to calm down when she saw them.

"Are you going somewhere?" Alex asked her; he could hear what she was saying, and it seemed that she was going out.

Olivia nodded. Yes," She said.

Alex nodded and let her go. He did not want to be too forceful with her and make her become frightened again and try to leave him.

Olivia stood up, she bent down and leaned closer to him, she pecked his cheek. "I will be back very soon," She said with a smile. She straightened up, and Alex nodded. He felt excited when she pecked his cheek. Did she kiss his cheek on her own accord? He was shocked, but happy. It seems she was really serious when she said they should restart again.

In the hospital.

Ethan was laying down on the bed; he was receiving drips and also lying down on the bed. He looked at Emily eagerly.

"Is she coming?" He asked.

Emily nodded. "Of course she will come. Why would she not come? I am sure she is running here already after hearing that you had an accident. You know she will have to cozy up to Alex first before she can come," Emily said.

Ethan nodded with a smile on his face. "Thank you. You are really intelligent, "he said.

Emily nodded. She turned her head away from Ethan, and a disdainful smile appeared on her face. She looked back at him with a gentle smile. "After all, I am doing this for your and my own good," She said.

Ethan smiled. Yes, we are both doing this for ourselves," He said.

Emily stood up disgruntled. "I will go and wait for her outside so She will not suspect anything about us," She said.

Ethan nodded. "That is alright," He said.

She walked out of the room and toward the entrance. She stood at the entrance in a place that was not too noticeable. People will not notice her easily where she stands. She finally saw Olivia climb out of the taxi. She took out her phone and took a picture of her, which she sent to Alex with a caption.

"Mr. Alex, I don't mean to be too nosy, but Ethan is hospitalized, and Olivia is here to probably visit him. I am not sure, though, but I think that is it." She typed it and sent it to Alex with the picture of Olivia going into the hospital.

Emily smirked when she finally completed her work. Alex will be here very soon, and he might finally let Olivia go. She likes Alex and has been crushing on him; seeing him with Olivia always makes her feel very angry. Just because she is a rich heiress, does that mean she can have any man she wants? She tried to seduce Alex, but it seems like all of his attention was always on Olivia instead. She never gave up, hoping he would at least take notice of her. Even his number, she collected it from Olivia; that was how she got his number. His personal number, for that matter, she turned around and walked out of the hospital.

All she would wait for was the news from Olivia about her leaving Alex. She smiled happily, like she could already see them leaving each other.

Olivia walked into the hospital. She walked to the nurse's office, which was outside.

Hi." She greeted them politely with a smile.

"Hello," the nurse said as she looked at her.

"I am looking for Nurse Practice. Is she still around?" She asked the nurse.

"Yes. I will call her to come outside now, "she said.
