CHAPTER 26

The two guys who kidnapped Nyra were so happy. They knew how much the vampires hated werewolf and was sure that the king would be so happy that they had brought one for him torture

They had carried her over their shoulder but she was in a sack so as not to attract anyone's attention. They waited till it was night time for them to set on their journey to the palace. They trekked a little and once they got there,two guards blocked them.

" Who are you?What do you want?" A guard asked them

" Fellas, we're one aren't we?, So why the attitude?" One guy whose name was Max asked. He was the one who led Nyra into the place where they could capture her.

The guards obviously didn't have interest in any topic that they were bringing and just because they were all vampires doesn't mean that they get to trust one another. They weren't going to let them in just that easily.

" What do you want before I pull your lungs out of your throat" one of the guards said and that seemed to freak them out that they decided to stop the foreplay and go straight to the point.

" There's a werewolf in the bag " Max told them. The guards looked at each other before bursting into laughter. They knew that there was no way that two amateurs vampires caught a werewolf knowing how strong werewolf was; it would be so easy to tear the two apart.

" We're not joking,she's in the bag" they said but they just kept on laughing. Max knew that they weren't going to take them seriously and decided to show them so they could shut the hell up since their laughter was already annoying him.

" How about we show you so you can shut the hell up" he told them . They stopped laughing and led them into a private corner,they weren't just going to trust them easily but also thought that for them to want to show them what's in the sack they might be serious.

Max opened the sack and the guards were shocked to see the girl. They didn't Know whether to believe it until they examined her and it checked out that she was a werewolf.

" I can't believe it,you two amateurs caught a werewolf,this is bizarre" one of the guards said. The two guys were obviously proud of themselves and were looking forward to bragging about it later on.

" So you take the girl and we'll get out cash" Max was quick to say. The two guard's obviously had something else in mind but they didn't want any trouble and just handed them money so they could get the hell out. They would take the girl to the king and get more credit, maybe even cash and promotion, so it was worth giving the two vampires little change, which felt like big cash to them.

" thanks mate" max said and they left

The guards carried Nyra into the palace . They told the king's guard that they had a werewolf and they had caught her themselves.

He went to inform Alexanvian and he was surprised how the werewolves were just parading his kingdom with no fear . He decided that it would be fun and would use it to his advantage.

"I'll have to cut our tour short,I need to attend to this " he told Koryn. She was afraid and wondered who the werewolf was,she didn't want Alexanvian to kill one of her kind and decided in her mind that she would do whatever it takes to save the werewolf they caught.

They all assembled in the courtyard and they let the werewolf out of the sack. Koryn was shocked to see her sister laying on the floor looking almost lifeless and so was Xylon,he hadn't expected to see her come to the vampire kingdom and was scared of what they would do to her

Alexanvian sat on his chair which was made for king's only while the rest assembled, everyone living in the palace were present. They wanted to see the show that was about to go on,they were sure that their ruthless King was for sure going to kill the werewolf.

" Wake her up," Alexanvian said in a dry voice. One of the guards went to fetch water and poured it on her face, waking her up instantly.

Nyra gasped and got up scanning her environment to know where she was. She saw people surrounding her like she was some form of entertainment and later on she realized that she was. She was feeling weak from whatever that vampire had given to her .

" I can't believe that a werewolf is wandering around like a loner in our kingdom" Alexanvian's aunt said. She was angry feeling that the kingdom needs to tighten their security to make sure that no one gets in and even if they wanted to they would have to think twice.

Alexanvian knew that she wasn't just any werewolf,he scanned her clothes and discovered that she must be a warrior. He knew that for someone, especially someone who was a girl, to come to his kingdom all alone had to be strong and brave.

" What…what you people…. going to. .do …to me?" She asked. Her voice was low ,she was so weak and managed to form those sentences. She didn't think that they would let her live and thought that it might as well be the end for her the sad thing was that she didn't even get to find her sister.

" You're so brave coming here all alone, " he said to her. She looked up at him and realized that he was the king but that didn't intimidate her,she wasn't scared of him.

"I don't need your petty talk,I know you want to kill me so just go ahead and do it " she said. Alexanvian smiled,he was definitely going to have fun with this little werewolf.
