Chapter 25
~ Viesrryan ~
Nyra scurried around trying to be unnoticed. She wanted to find her sister ,she needed to. Her heart was beating so fast praying that the vampires wouldn't come out to attack her . It's not like she's scared or anything but she wanted to just make sure that she was safe.
She got to Viesrryan and was glad that she successfully crossed the bother. She wore a nose mask and dressed like one of the guards which made it easy for her to fool them. She didn't want them to know that it was her so she had to disguise.
She got into Viesrryan and then she heard a voice like someone was close to her or someone was following her. She was confused and although she knew that the vampires could come out during daylight now, she was sure that there was something behind it because there's no way in the world that a vampire would come out especially for a battle during the day.
She walked but she didn't ignore the fact that she could sense that someone was beside her. She looked back and found no one. She thought maybe she was just overthinking it but there was that thought again. She immediately threw her pocket knife to meet the person although the person was quick to run but it got her a glimpse of him.
She ran after him running as fast as she could not caring where she was going too as long as she got him. She was running into the bush until she lost sight of him,she knew that vampire's could disappear and wondered where he might have gone too. She tried looking everywhere but couldn't find him .
" Looking for me" she turned to see a guy with blonde hair and enough masculine features to call him a man. He was handsome but definitely not that handsome and just his sight was pissing her off.
" Who are you?" She asked ready to fire a gun at him but it seemed like the vampire already had a plan. He had noticed her and followed her,he knew that he wasn't safe out in the sun and couldn't stay for long so he led her to a place where he knew that the sun wouldn't have an effect on him.
" I'm your worst nightmare" he said and snapped his fingers. More vampires came out scaring Nyra Because they were too much but she wasn't going to give up easily and was going to fight them with all her might even if it meant that she will have to lose her life for it
" I want her alive or else the king wouldn't give us a ransome if we bring a dead werewolf to him " the guy said. She wondered how they knew that she was a werewolf,she didn't really think that it would be that easy to figure out.
" If you come near me then you'll be making a big mistake " she said about bringing out her weapon to attack them. But that didn't intimidate them,she was the only one so it was one against many.
She immediately turned into a wolf,her wolf was happily ready to fight but they were too much for only her to handle. A vampire bit her with his fangs and then she felt Someone hit her on the head and that made her faint instantly.
" Let's take her to the palace,I'm sure the king will appreciate us bringing a vampire to him" the guy with the blonde hair said and they all nodded in response.
One of them carried her over his shoulders all the way to the palace.
~ Wolfendon~
Evette was already super stressed out and all she wanted to do was to clear up her head. She couldn't get the thoughts of Keldon and Koryn out of her head .
Koryn was still unconscious,she was afraid that he might slip into a coma which made her heart beat very fast. Every Time she thinks of her while Koryn was in the enemy kingdom not yet found and not even assured whether she's alive or not. She didn't want to think about that because she knew that her daughter was a fighter who wouldn't give up easily. She had total confidence in her daughter and was assured that she'll come back Alive.
She was already lost in deep thought until she heard someone knock on the door. She reluctantly got up to open the door,she didn't really feel like seeing anyone but thought that the person who came to see her might be someone important or had important information to pass across.
She opened the door to see one of the maids,it was Nyra's maid in fact. She wondered what Nyra maid was looking for her for.
" Good evening your highness" she greeted and Evette could feel the nervousness in her voice. It was as if she was scared to say something which made Evette more curious.
" What are you doing here?" She asked. The maid just stood there trying to figure out a way to tell her the news,she didn't want to be the one to tell the news but they had forced it on her.
" I have something to tell you ma" she said. Evette was already bored with her beating round the bush and wished that she'd just go straight to the point.
" What Is it?" She asked. The maid looked at her and then heaved a big sigh before telling the news
" It's miss Nyra,we couldn't find her this morning,the guards and I have searched the entire pack but yet we couldn't find her" she told me just when she thought she had heard the worst news ever
She couldn't believe what she was hearing,she didn't believe that it was possible that her own daughter was missing.
" That's impossible" she retorted back, trying not to believe what she said.
" It's true your highness, '' the maid told her. Evette couldn't help it anymore,she couldn't believe all that was happening to her ,first her son was unconscious, maybe even slipped into a coma,her first daughter was nowhere to be found and now her third was missing. She couldn't help it , holding her chest she fainted.
