Chapter 126 Getting started

Chapter 126 Getting started

Hazel paused, then blinked rapidly. She glanced at Damien in extreme surprise, she never expected that he would apologize just like that. She felt that he would just brush it off, never expecting that he would react in such a manner because she had never seen him apologize before.

“I misunderstood you and I shouldn’t have spoken to you in such a manner, I’m sorry.” He repeated.

Actually, that apology had taken a lot from him. As an Alpha, he had never apologized to anyone in his entire life.

But seeing the tears in Hazel's eyes, something shifted inside him and he found himself blurting out an apology after a slight difficulty.

He believed her.

To be honest, he had difficulties in trusting people, but for some reason, he believed whatever Hazel says because a part of me feels that she is telling the truth.

“So you rejected him?” He asked again.

He knew that Alex likes Hazel, he had seen it.

Initially, Damien wanted to avoid Alex, especially after the poison incident, because she was making him lose control of his emotions. Damien does not like it whenever he is not in control and when he is with Hazel, his control and self-restraint jad always been non-existent.

So, he found a solution to that and that was going back to how they were from the beginning. That is, pretending that she does not exist.

But it didn’t work. Alex came into the picture.

And seeing that someone else was taking Hazel's attention, Damien could not take it anymore.

He should have been relieved, but he felt nothing like that.

“Yes, I did. Actually, I rejected him during our outing yesterday, but he insisted on pursuing me. Today, I rejected him again and told him that…” Hazel suddenly paused. She had said this earlier on a whim, but now that she was in her right senses, she suddenly found it hard to say.

“That…?” Damien pressed, curious. He heard her say something like this earlier, but his anger didn’t allow him to listen.

Hasel turned her head sideways, unable to meet Damien’s gaze. Then, her lips moved, “That, I have someone in my heart.”

Damien paused, then something bright flashed in his eyes.

“Who?” He demanded after a moment of silence, his voice lower and hoarse.

Hazel closed her eyes and when she opened them, she refused to answer.

“Why should I tell you?” She threw the question back to him and he fell silent.

“I am curious.” He began, extending his finger to caress her smooth cheek. He brushed away the drop of tears there and his fingers trailed downwards, pressing slightly on her red lips. “I wonder, who is capable enough of making you…”

Hazel suddenly bit his finger slightly and he faltered in his words. The strength of her bite was not painful, but it made his eyes darken.

He didn’t remove his finger and pressed it against Hazel's tongue. Hazel stared at him, a glint of mischief flashed in her eyes as she rolled her tongue over the tip of Damien’s finger.

She did not stop at that and proceeded to even lick his finger twice, making Damien feel a part of his body reacting.

“You are playing with fire, Hazel.” He warned, his voice so low and deep that it made Hazel's ear itchy.

“Fire? That sounds fun. Will I burn?” Hazel asked in return, smiling wildly. Then, she suddenly pressed her body against Hazel.

Initially, they were close, but with her taking the initiative to move closer, the small space between them both disappeared. Damien felt her softness against his chest and felt the curvatures of her body, including her lower body and a certain part of him twitched.

Of course, Hazel felt it.

She grinned and commented, “Someone is burning already. I wonder…”

Damien suddenly cussed under his breath and his lips crashed against hers, stopping her from completing her statement.

Hasel smiled against his lips, allowing him to plunder her mouth like a bandit who found a gold mine. Their kisses have never been gentle, and it wasn’t this time either.

He kissed her like a drowning man who finally found a source of air and like a thirsty man in a desert, who found himself an oasis.

He savored every corner of her mouth, leaving no part untouched like he wanted to swallow her whole.

He wrapped his tongue around his, and both tongues battled for a while, until Hazel lost. She could not compare to him and found herself surrendering even before the battle started.

Her body melted into his, but Damien was just starting.

When he withdrew, a thin silver of saliva followed his lips and Hazel blushed at the sight.

“You did not answer my question, who is this person you were talking about?” He has not forgotten and he wouldn’t stop until he gets an answer.

Hazel stared at him with a raised brow as though saying, ‘What if I refuse to tell you?’

A grin spread across Damien’s lips as he suddenly held her neck with his large hand.

“I wonder what will make you speak.”

He lowered his hand gradually, and stopped when he got to the round and bouncing mound on her chest.

Hazel’s eyes shook, but she still refused to back down.

Seeing the firm determination in her eyes, a hint of sick pleasure lingered in Damien’s and he suddenly flicked her nipple through the fabric.

Hazel's breath hitched instantly.

The pain, mixed with pleasure made her knees go weak.

But Damien only smiled.

Hazel's dress was one that had buttons in front, from the neck area down to the hem of the dress. Damien nodded in satisfaction, it made things easier for him.

Slowly, he removed the buttons one by one. As he did, he felt how fast Hazel's heartbeat was and chuckled to himself.

When the button reached her stomach, he pushed the dress down, and Hazel was left in nothing but her thin underwear fabric, one that did not even reach her knees and covered almost nothing because it was transparent.

It was broad daylight, and yet, Damien had no plans on stopping.

If anything, he was just getting started.
