Chapter 61 - No Coming Back
Chapter 61 - No Coming Back

She was drowning into the darkness and everything around her was fading quickly.

Arlo.

Her son.

She had failed her son. That might just be the one thing that hurt her the most.

She was a failure of a mother to die and leave him alone at the stage of his life when he needed her the most.

She grieved that. Not just her death but the effect her absence would have on her son, the fact that he would live forgetting she ever existed.

But just as quickly as the darkness has pulled her in, she could feel herself pulling out of it.

There was liquid trickling down her lungs, the cold and easing sensation moving around her heart.

Stitching.

Healing.

She clung onto the source, trying to pull more and more of that liquid into her mouth.

The source was warm. Fast. Hungry.

Drawing blood from her lips.

Her hands planted against the obstacle before her, sensation sizzling across her skin as she pulled away to drag in a breath.

Then she felt those pair of lips against her neck, tongue slithering up and down in quick swipes.

She jolted when she felt him move to cleavage, her hand twisted into his hair. Her eyelids yank open and shut just as quickly, her head felt heavy, everything like a blur… yet this feeling… this hunger…

“Ikrus.”

What madness was this? How could she go from dying to– to this?! So quickly!

Her hands moved quickly around her and she heard rips upon rips. Before she could react, liquid was being spilled around her skin.

Everywhere.

She forced her eyes open, only to shut it back and jolt the table as he caught a nipple between his teeth.

Tongue flicking.

A hand on the other breast, fondling, roughly.

Tears welled up in her eyes at how overwhelming everything was.

Too much.

Too soon.

Perfect.

Too perfect.

Moans dragged out her mouth in long, tortured pleas. Her hands moved quickly from his hair, into hers, to table, then to his back, her nails clawing against his muscled skin.

Feral.

As primal as the pleasure that tightened between her thighs, aching for release.

“Touch me,” her fingers sank into her hair with frustration, her lips trembling in a feverish whisper. “Please.”

But then he stopped and pulled away. Completely.

Her eyelids tore open then and stayed open.

Her breath came out ragged for many reasons but now, fear was one of those reasons.

Ikrus was staring down at her, his eyes too dark for her to know precisely what he was feeling.

Rage?

Lust?

Whatever it was, it was intense.

Her chest seemed not to be able to contain it. His eyes raked over her with intensity that made her remember that he had ripped her dress away and she was naked.

“Ikrus—” she reached up a hand to touch him but he pushed her hand aside, as if she would burn him at the contact.

Then she saw something flicker in his eyes and her stomach dropped.

The feeling was rage.

He hated this.

Despite the desire pushing out of every pore, that recognition twisted in her belly and she wanted to leave.

She blinked and tried to move, but he turned around just as quickly, and pulled her against.

She shivered at the contact, his voice hard, his words an unintelligible whisper against her ear, yet her need seemed to spike even more with them.

“Me es ve entun.” Then his canine sank into a part of her shoulder and before she could cry in pain, he thrusted into her.

Fast.

She bucked, her thoughts crashing against one another, the strange fullness in her making her lose her sanity.

His hand reached forward and cupped a breast in a rough grasp while another constrained her neck, pressing her against his hard chest.

Her moans were feverish, full of trembling pleas as her sight blurred.

His canines sank more and more into her skin, her tongue flicking over the bites, his thrusts unrelenting.

Too much.

By Ignas, too much!

Her voice was hoarse from her cries and her teeth ached for something to bite into, if only to keep her quiet. She pulled his hand away from her neck, and pressed it against her mouth, her teeth sank into his flesh and she spiralled at the taste of his blood.

“Ik’la Ikrus,” her voice was too low and was muffled against his hand but he had heard.

His thrusts quicken into a mad rhythm.

She slammed into her peak with force, ecstasy spiralling through veins, then she crashed, falling limp against him.

But his tongue slithered over his mark on her neck and she slammed into the heights of it right again.

The tongue, the thrusts, everything.

So again, and again, it kept happening; her breath almost vanishing from her at the unrelenting cycle.

Then she felt him explode in her and stiffen.

The warmth filling her to the brim, his pleasure washing over her in nightly waves.

This time, her ecstacy took her hostage for longer than she had ever experienced. Tears ran down her cheeks.

By Ignas, there was no coming back from this.

((Don't you just love it when you poison someone and they poison you right back? Well, I don't know but Aniya sure finds it hot.

I have been trying to work on the next stage on my academic ladder and that has been very time consuming. I will not apologise with my words because that is now boring.

Instead, I will upload two more chapters today as a form of apology and try to work on a stockpile that will last us the rest of the month.))
