Chapter 291 Don't Make Me Find You Disgusting!

Chapter 291 Don't Make Me Find You Disgusting!

Alexander stared coldly at Emily for a long moment.

Suddenly, he commanded expressionlessly, "Get rid of the children."

Emily hadn't expected him to be so ruthless. Despite everything she'd said, he was still forcing her to abort!

Emily stepped back, shaking her head. "I won't do it!"

Alexander said, "What if I insist you do it?"

His voice wasn't raised, yet it carried absolute authority. His eyes showed no emotional fluctuation, but held an undeniable intimidation.

Emily said, "Are you threatening me? If I refuse no matter what, will you drag me to the hospital like a criminal and force me to abort? Go ahead and try! I'll expose to the media what kind of heartless person you are—how you could be so ruthless to your own children!"

Alexander replied, "You want to play that game with me?"

"I came here today to give you one night to prepare yourself mentally. Tomorrow, I'll send people to take you to the hospital for the procedure. I'm not here to negotiate with you—I'm here to inform you. If you cooperate, I'll give you compensation. If you don't cooperate, you'll face the consequences!"

With that, he turned to leave.

Emily bit her lip, calling out desperately, "Alexander, don't you think you're being too heartless to me? They're both your flesh and blood—why do you cherish her children so much while being so cruel to mine? Haven't you considered that the children I'd give you might be more adorable than Liam, more brilliant than Max?"

Alexander said coldly, "Liam and Max are irreplaceable. No other children can compare to them."

Emily protested, "But my children are unique too! They share your bloodline! You can't be so cruel to them!"

Alexander was getting impatient, his anger flaring. "I've already given you enough dignity! Don't make me find you disgusting!"

The thought that this woman he'd considered like a sister would use such revolting methods—trying to secretly bear his children to trap and manipulate him—made his stomach turn.

Emily never imagined that one day Alexander would call her disgusting. The light in her eyes completely died.

"You think I'm... disgusting?"

Alexander narrowed his eyes. "Isn't it disgusting? The thought that you're carrying my children in your womb makes me sick!"

Emily was pierced by his words, heartbroken. "But... they're your children, sons—both of them are sons..."

Alexander's eyes were menacing. "I don't care if they're sons or daughters—they should never have been conceived! Dying in the womb is their only destiny! If you dare give birth to them, you'll face the consequences! Don't blame me for being ruthless. Whether you abort these children or give birth to them, I will take no responsibility for these illegitimate children!"

Emily was devastated, stumbling backward and collapsing onto the sofa.

Tears fell uncontrollably as despair consumed her.

Alexander said, "Think whatever you want! Bottom line—I will never acknowledge these two children."

With that, he turned and left.

The door slammed shut with a bang.

Emily's tears flowed freely.

She couldn't understand it.

They were all his children—why was he so heartless toward hers?

It wasn't fair!

If she hadn't witnessed with her own eyes how much Alexander adored Liam, she might not have harbored such fantasies—the hope that if she gave him two children like Grace had, he would treasure them as well!

Emily suddenly thought that perhaps it was because the babies were still in her womb. Once she gave birth and he saw the adorable infants with his own eyes, maybe he wouldn't be so heartless!

After all, hadn't Grace secretly given birth to his children behind his back too?

When Liam was first brought back to the Hayes family, hadn't Alexander been resistant at first?

But gradually, he'd accepted his paternal feelings and responsibilities, lavishing Liam with love, wanting to give him all the beauty the world had to offer!

No matter what, she had to protect these two children!

Emily walked to the door and opened it, only to find two bodyguards standing outside.

Before she could step out, the bodyguards immediately blocked her path. "Miss Blake, from now until tomorrow morning, you cannot leave this apartment."

Emily's eyes reddened as she retreated suspiciously into her apartment. "Did Alexander send you to guard my door?"

He must have steeled his heart to abort her babies, so he'd sent people to watch her around the clock, monitoring her every move!

But she wasn't a criminal!

One bodyguard said, "Mr. Hayes has us watching you. Tomorrow, he'll send people to take you to the hospital!"

Emily understood—Alexander intended to force her to abort the children.

Emily snapped, "Get lost! Just because he told you to watch me, you obediently follow orders? Are you dogs?"

The bodyguard replied, "We are Mr. Hayes's loyal dogs."

Emily was speechless, grinding her teeth as she threatened, "Aren't you afraid I'll jump from the balcony?"

The bodyguard said, "Mr. Hayes only gave us this one order."

The implication was clear—she could cry, make a scene, threaten suicide, even jump from the building killing herself and the babies, but she couldn't leave through that door.

Emily screamed hoarsely, "This is unlawful imprisonment! I'm calling the police!"

The bodyguards remained unmoved. "Miss Blake, you're free to call the police or do whatever you wish."

Emily's face turned grim with rage.

She closed the door, returned to the living room, and picked up her phone to call the police. But just as she'd dialed the number, she hesitated, suddenly thinking of something, and dialed a different number instead...

...

The next day.

Alexander had just entered his executive office when Jeremy immediately put down his phone and approached him. "Mr. Hayes, we have a problem."

Alexander asked, "Who has a problem?"

Jeremy scratched his head. "Well, I can't exactly say it's a problem... Didn't you instruct me to send people early this morning to take Miss Blake to the hospital for the abortion procedure?"

Alexander raised an eyebrow. "So?"

Jeremy said, "The men I sent came up empty. I just received a call—they said early this morning, the Hayes family sent people who got there first and took her away."

Alexander frowned, his expression darkening.

He hadn't expected the Hayes family to suddenly take Emily away, and he had no idea where they'd taken her.

Jeremy speculated, "Mrs. Mary Hayes sent people to take Miss Blake away. No one dared to stop them."

Alexander turned to leave.

Jeremy followed. "Mr. Hayes, are you going back to the Hayes family estate?"

Alexander replied, "Yes. Cancel the morning meeting—reschedule it for this afternoon."
