Chapter 45:
While heading back to his room, Jayden was informed by one of the resort managers that there would be a beach party thrown for couples and insisted Jayden attends the party.
Jayden thanked him and continued back to his room.
He got into his room and saw Monalisa applying her body cream.
"You're back already? Jayden asked settling down on the bed.
"Why! Am I supposed to be out? Monalisa retorted.
"No. It's good you're back. Actually earlier ..."
"Yes earlier" Monalisa turned immediately towards him. "Earlier... I'm all in to play your game"
"Really? Maybe I should attend the beach party with Athena instead, since it was organised for couples"
"Hmm... funny. Then I'll attend with my husband"
"What husband?
"None of your business " she backed him immediately. "just focus on your woman and enjoy the party tonight." She stood up from the chair and walked to the wardrobe to grab her cloth.
Jayden followed her and pinned her against the wardrobe.
"Isn't this old fashioned? Pinning me against something. It's becoming boring" Monalisa rolled her eyes.
"I see. You're getting smart. That's a good one." Jayden stepped away. "I'll go take a bath"
"Yes do. You reek of sweat"
Jayden flashed her an angry stare.
"What? Don't just stare at me, go take your bath man"
Cynthia's flight landed safely in Crete and she got a cab down to the resort to spy on them.
She had gotten additional information from Gerald who overheard Athena confirming the reservation she made for Jayden.
Cynthia drove into the resort and was left amazed by the beauty of the resort.
She got out of the car and rolled her box to make a reservation.
She was taken to her room by the bellboy and settled in. She decided to check out the lovely balcony. The Ocean view was perfect also from her side.
She exhaled "Jayden sure do have eyes for lovely places. I wonder what room they are in. Ugh! I'm already exhausted. But how would I be able to meet them? Hold on...I overheard the dude from the reception telling someone about some beach party tonight. That's perfect. But I do not have any man...damn it" she punched her palm. "But I can get one. I'm a beautiful lady. All I need to do is look breathtaking and I'll definitely get a dude"
Monalisa and Jayden got ready for the beach party.
Monalisa was looking breathtaking in the lovely red beaded short gown. She checked out her beautiful self on the mirror before stepping out with Jayden who was dressed in a casual white shirt, black trousers and a pair of black loafers shoes.
The party was bubbling and fun. Lots of couples turned up for the party.
Jayden came to a halt and requested Monalisa to get some drinks while he takes the call.
Jayden stepped aside while Monalisa decided to get some drink.
Cynthia while looking around, her gaze fell on Monalisa who was taking a glass of wine from the waiter.
Cynthia immediately signalled the guy she had paid to go after Monalisa.
He nodded and walked over to Monalisa. He bumped into her dropping his wine on her dress.
"I'm so sorry for that. I was so absent minded" he apologized.
"It's nothing. I'll go clean up"
"No. I'll clean it up for you" he said drawing a scarf from his pocket. "Let me"
"No. I'm good ".
"Why? I'm not going to hurt you. Just let me do this, please ".
"I said I'm fine. I'll leave now"
"Hold on " he grasped Monalisa's name. "Don't you want to know who I am?
"No thank you. I'll go clean up"
"May I come with you. You seem to be alone. A pretty lady like you shouldn't be walking around alone. It's quite a dirty scary world"
"You're right. It's better I walk around alone than walk with you. Who knows what could happen. Now let go"
"Hey chill. I'm trying to lighten up the mood. Come on, don't be so up tight. I'm Tommy, you can call me Tom. And you are?
"Tommy, let go of my hand. It's ungentlemanly to hold a woman's hand without her permission even when she's asking you to let go. Weren't you taught that?
"Hey... don't be rude. It doesn't suit you"
"I hate men who underestimate women. I'm good at judo, Taekwondo, karate and boxing. If you do not want to get hurt, let go "
"Let go of her hand if you don't want to be without hard you bastard!! Jayden roared at Tommy, drawing people's attention to them.
"Who the fuck is that loser?
Jayden marched down to them and grabbed Tommy's hand, pulling out Monalisa's hand from his grip and pushed him away. Jayden held Monalisa's hand.
"Who are you punk? Tommy asked.
"Who the fuck are you, bastard? Stay the fuck far away from her" Jayden ordered him
Tommy scoffed. "Son of a gun. Hey Missy, do you know him? A while ago you were talking about a guy holding a lady's hand without her permission is not a gentleman"
"Yes, not when that man is her man" Monalisa replied.
"What?
"You heard her. She's my wife. You've got a problem with that? I hate men who wouldn't control themselves and go about casting their evil and lustful eyes on women who already have a man. I do not like it when bastards like you dare..." Jayden took a few steps closer to Tommy. "Lay their filthy hand on my woman. Look at her, good. Stay metres away from her. She's mine and mine alone. I do not want you any inch close to her, got it? Now get lost before I loose it and oust you from this resort "
"Why? Are you the president or what?
"No. I'm one who commands wealth and respect in all parts of the world. I'm Jayden James Bruno. Got it"
Tommy tittered. "Chill bro. I didn't mean any harm. I made a mistake. I had bumped into her and dropped my glass of wine on her outfit. I was just trying to help her clean up, that's all"
"Get lost"
"What?
Jayden shot a death stare. "Get, lost!
"Yes. I'm out. Geez, so possessive" Tommy said storming out.
"Are you okay? Jayden asked Monalisa
"Thank you" Monalisa said hugging him.
"What are you two doing? The old lady asked. "Why is she hugging you! Have you succumbed to her antics?
"Yes ma'am. I cannot resist her any longer" Jayden replied.
Monalisa giggled.
"What? What do you mean by that?
"Ma'am, I appreciate the fact you tried to look out for you and I also want to apologize to you for kind of deceiving you " Jayden said.
"What are you talking about? The old man asked.
"Actually, Monalisa..." Jayden wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer. '"She's my wife"
They old man and the old lady s jaw dropped.
"Yes. It was a joke but she wasn't part of it. I just decided to prank her, that's all and she decided to retaliate back. We're good" Jayden kissed Monalisa's forehead.
"Well...ir you say so. And the other lady? Asked the old lady.
"Athena? She's his PA" Monalisa replied.
"Oh I see. I get it now, why she was surprised when I referred to her as his wife. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and for butting into couple's fight" the lady apologized.
"It's okay ma'am. Since we're here, let's have fun and enjoy the party" Jayden suggested
"Yes. let's do that. Let's go" the lady offered.
"Right behind you ma'am " Monalisa said, trying to follow the old couple but was pulled back by Jayden. "What now?
"Nothing, just want to hold you in my arms for a while" he said wrapping his hands around her. "I really hate it when men make advances at you. It's fucking annoying"
"Now you know how I felt when you pulled that silly prank on me with Athena"
"She's innocent. It was all my idea and I kind enjoyed it. Your jealous side is kinda fun to behold".
"Let go".
"I'm sorry but I can't guarantee not pulling prank on you".
"Crazy dude"
"I love your smile" he kissed her forehead. "I like your cute face" he kissed her cheeks. "I love your sweetness." He kissed her lip. "I like your body". He kissed her neck. "You taste so nice"
"Come on. Let's go enjoy the party "
"But after thr party... we'll have a little erotic session, right?
"I'll be tired after the party and I'll be needing a nice bath and sleep, Jayden. Let's forget about sex and enjoy the moment. Don't you think?
"Hmm. Let's have fun"
Tommy dragged Cynthia out of her seat away from the party, fumming in anger.
"Let go you useless being!! You messed up big time " Cynthia screamed at him.
Tommy slapped her face.
"I will unalive you if you utter such words to me"
"What?
"You dare set me up for such useless job against Jayden James Bruno!!! Do you know who he is?
"Why the hell is all dudes scared of him? You've got no balls that's why. You all are so useless. Out of my way"
Tommy quickly grabbed her by her hair and dragged her back.
"You dare not walk away from me, or else....!!!
"What are you going to do to me? I dare you to try to hit me "
"Challenge accepted " Tommy grabbed Cynthia by her neck and tried choking her to death while Cynthia struggled for her life, screaming for help.
"Let her go!!! A man roared at Tommy.
