Chapter 100

Chapter 100
AUTHOR'S POV

Jayden stormed into his house, his anger and frustration boiling over. He kicked the couch in the living room, the sound of his footsteps echoing through the silence. He slammed his hand on the table, gritting his teeth in rage.

"Who is that punk with Monalisa?" he muttered to himself, his mind racing with questions and suspicions. "How dare he stop me from talking with Monalisa? And Monalisa...has she moved on? Really? They've got a kid? No. That's not true. Probably, his kid and not theirs. I think it's his kid from his old relationship. Pff... there's no way Monalisa had that kid for him, no way.I need to get to the root of this shit."

As he stood there, seething with anger, Cynthia walked into the living room from the kitchen, dressed in one of Jayden's shirts. She hugged him from behind, placing a kiss on his back.

"Good morning, darling," she said, her voice husky and seductive. But Jayden wasn't having it. He shoved her aside, his eyes flashing with anger.

"Stay away," he growled, his voice low and menacing. Cynthia stumbled back, looking hurt and confused.

"Ooh...daddy is mad," she said, trying to lighten the mood. "Let's go make daddy happy." But Jayden wasn't interested. He turned and headed upstairs, leaving Cynthia to follow him.

As she entered the bedroom, she found Jayden already pacing back and forth, his anger and frustration radiating from him like heat. "Hi, darling," she said, trying to approach him.

But Jayden wasn't having it. "Can't you knock?" he roared at her, his voice echoing off the walls. "Why are you angry?" Cynthia asked, trying to placate him. "Someone made you mad at the gym house? Tell me, I'll deal with them."

But Jayden just shook his head, his eyes flashing with anger. "No. You'll do nothing. Stay put. Bitch!" Cynthia's face fell at the insult, but she tried to brush it off.

"I'm a bitch for you," she said, wrapping her hands around him. But Jayden broke off from her grip, pushing her aside.

"I'm all sweaty and I need to take a bath," he said, his voice cold and detached. "If you don't mind, leave my room."

Cynthia pouted, trying to tempt him. "Come on, we can take our bath together. It'll be a steamy moment in there. I'm down for you, baby." But Jayden just shook his head.

"Yeah, no," he said, grabbing a fresh towel from the bag. He headed into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him and locking it. Cynthia stood outside, looking hurt and rejected.

"Fine," she said to herself, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll leave you alone. For now." But as she turned to walk away, she couldn't help but feel a pang of anger and resentment. She was tired of being pushed aside and ignored. She was tired of being treated like she was nothing. And she was determined to do something about it.

Jayden spent his weekend holed up in his room, surfing the net to find out more about Donald. He had been searching for any information he could get on the man who had so brazenly stood in his way. As he scrolled through page after page of search results, Jayden's frustration grew.

"Who is this guy?" Jayden muttered to himself, his eyes scanning the screen for any hint of information. But the more he searched, the more elusive Donald seemed.

Finally, Jayden's anger boiled over. "This is ridiculous!" he exclaimed, slamming his fist on the desk. He angrily closed his laptop and dropped it on the bed.

He rose to his feet, his movements swift and agitated. "I need to clear my head," he said to himself, heading downstairs to the wine cellar.

As he grabbed a bottle of wine, he couldn't help but think about Donald. "What is he hiding?" Jayden wondered, his mind racing with possibilities.

He returned to the bar, pouring himself a generous glass of wine. "Maybe this will help me think," he said, taking a sip.

But as he sat there, sipping his wine, Jayden's mind kept wandering back to Donald. "There has to be more to him than what I'm seeing," Jayden thought, his eyes narrowing.

As he leaned back in his chair, Jayden shut his eyes, trying to think clearly. But his mind was a jumble of emotions, his anger and frustration simmering just below the surface.

Suddenly, Jayden's eyes snapped open. "I've got it," he said to himself, a plan forming in his mind. "Athena. She's the only one who can help me.

"There are no pictures of any kid with him, or with Monalisa. Is he really her man? I need to find out their relationship and I need to do that discretely. Cynthia can't find out that I already met Monalisa. She can't find out that Monalisa is in the city. She might pull a dirty string on us. The only one that can do this job without raising any suspicions from anyone is Athena. " Jayden smirked and has a sip of the wine.

Jayden's smirk grew wider as he thought about the possibilities. "I'll brief her about Donald tomorrow at the office," he said, his voice low and determined. "And I'll get that bastard out of the way for good."

He took another sip of his wine, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him. "It's going to be a long week," he said to himself, smiling. But he was ready for it. Bring it on, he thought, raising his glass in a silent toast.

As he sat there, sipping his wine, Jayden couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He knew that tomorrow would be a turning point, a chance for him to take control and get what he wanted.

And what he wanted was Monalisa. Back in his life, and out of Donald's grasp. Jayden's eyes gleamed with determination as he thought about the future. He would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. And he would do whatever it took to keep Monalisa by his side.
