"Miss Tara, someone alerted the authorities earlier about a male
omega in the national hotel."
Tara scoffed as she took a sip of her red
champagne, savouring the taste before looking up at her informant/bodyguard.
"Well I didn't do that, I liked that kid Jeremy, so I would never snitch on him
that way even though I said I would. I guess they have other enemies who want him gone," she smiled. "And what about Chris?"
"He was last seen going to the hotel and coming out hours later with all the authorities deployed as the search turned futile." Tara laughed at that.
"That bastard really doesn't know when to give up, does he?" she sighed as she stood up and walked over to the glass wall overlooking the city, a sad look on her face as she muttered to herself, "What's it about Jeremy that you're willing to throw everything away for?" Her grip on her wine glass
tightened, and then she turned to the man in the room with a sly smirk on her face.
"Ready the cars, I'd like to see how far he's willing to go."

"Can you please leave the road, we'd like to go through." Chris smiled at that
as he allowed the exhausted cigar to fall to the ground before stepping on it as he said...
"This wasn't part of the plan Drey."
"You really thought I would let you fool me twice Chris, there's no way I'm letting you close to my mate again."
Chris looked down with an eye-roll, trying his hardest not to slap some sense into the younger.
"You're a business man's son so you don't get this Drey. But I expected
you to know better Oliver," he said as he looked over at Oliver who was standing a few feet behind Drey. "There's no way you can get him out of the states right now without being caught. Security will be tight because the authorities have been alerted."
"It was all part of your plan wasn't it..."
"No it wasn't, you fool, I'd rather kill you all and erase his memories again rather than put him in harms way just to get him back." He breathed and relaxed back. "I know a place where
we can go and he and the lady can be safe, all I'm saying is that you trust me."
Drey walked up to Chris and stared him eyeball to eyeball.
"No" he said blandly and was about to walk away when Chris grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Then I have no choice but to take him by force" he said and punched the other
in the stomach. Drey gritted his teeth as he stumbled a bit before standing to
throw his own punch.
"Stop it!" Jeremy shouted as he rushed towards them. "Chris can you please remove your car from the road? We need to pass through right now"
"I'm sorry but I won't do that Jeremy"
Chris said as he walked towards the younger, pushing Drey out of the way when he tried to block him. "Your life is in danger and so is Jaden's, I won't let an alpha's ego put you in danger."
"And who are you to decide that for me?" Jeremy yelled.
"Your big brother!"
"You never treated me like a brother."
"Then let me make it up to you by keeping you safe one last time."
"I... no my mate and I can figure it out on our own."
"Jeremy, don't be stubborn..." Chris paused mid sentence when he heard a
familiar sound that he has come to know from years of being a soldier, the sound of a gun unlocking and so he reacted fast, pushed Jeremy down and out of the way just as a gunshot was fired, aiming at the omega but with how fast he reacted, it grazed Chris's shoulder instead.
The atmosphere immediately became filled with panic as Drey rushed towards his mate to help pick him up.
Chris cradled his arm as he looked pointedly at the direction where the gunshot had come from, whoever it
was was hiding in the thick grass far behind them. And Oliver and Drey were already moving that way to check while Mica tried to calm Jaden down who was up and crying due to the
loud sound. The two alphas searched through the place but found no one, not even a scent so they returned back to see Mica patching Chris up while Jeremy hugged his baby tighter to himself.
"There's no one there" Oliver announced. "Of course there's no one,
Chris set this whole thing up just to sell his shit!" Drey snapped just as Mica
tied up the injury on the eldest alpha's hand.
"Look, I don't know what to say to prove myself anymore especially to a kid like you Drey who keeps throwing
tantrums. But I am not leaving if Jeremy isn't coming with me."
"What did you say...?"
"Can we just leave this place already?" Jeremy snapped, his voice shaking as he glanced around suspicious of every shadow. "You can drive while we
follow Chris and if we sense anything wrong we'd cut out and leave and I'll
never forgive you if you betray me again"
"Jeremy..."
"Fine with me"
Drey and Chris said simultaneously.
"I agree" Oliver sighed making Drey redirect his glare to him. "We should focus on leaving this place first."
With a lot of hesitation from Drey they all climbed back onto the car, Oliver took the wheel this time, as Chris drove, they drove behind him, their eyes alert as they looked around for any sign of trouble and when hours passed without sign of anything safe for the endless driving, Jeremy and Mica falls asleep and Drey relaxed a bit, though he still prayed that Chris slips up so he can kill him.


Tara looks out at the city with an unreadable look on her face as she hears the struggling sound of the woman her guards were dragging in.
She had arrived at the scene where her ex mate was confronting his brother's mate when she saw a woman hiding behind a tree with her gun pointed at their direction, and before she could do anything, the woman fired the gun and it caught Chris.
"Let me go you bastards, I did nothing wrong!"
They pushed her in and she fell to the ground like a mad woman with a huff. But she was fast to sit up and was about to start spewing out curses when...
"Tracy Macouley" Tara called without looking back, making Tracy turn to look at her, a deviant look in her eyes. "What is the reason for the action you took tonight?"
"Why do you care? That bastard is a male omega who deserved to die!"
Tara turned to meet her eyes, her eyebrows shifting in amusement. "And you took the law into your hands because you want his mate?"
Tracy fisted her hands, her body shaking uncontrollably. She hadn't fulfilled her mission but was caught instead and now all she felt was anger and fear at the same time. Fear of the menacing aura emanating from Tara.
"That may be how you see it, but the world would consider me a hero if I killed him." Tracy said
Tara sighed as she walked up to her and sat on the sofa facing her. "You're
right, and while it may make me feel bad if he died as he is our alpha's son and an old friend of mine, it wouldn't bother me much if my mate's obsession is gone too"
she leaned down and grabbed Tracy by her hair and pulled violently making Tracy scream in pain while Tara's eyes glowed blue in anger
"But you shot at my mate instead you dumb bitch and for that you're going to pay."

Jeremy stirred awake with a stretch to see they were still on the road with Chris car still driving ahead. "Not there yet?" he yawned to which Oliver shook his head 'no'.
Drey said nothing as he stared pointedly at Chris car leading farther and further away from the city to a remote place.
More hours later and they arrived where Chris finally killed his engine and Oliver followed suit.
"Wait here" Drey said to Jeremy and Mica before they could get down. "Let us check out what's going on first."
With an understanding nod, Jeremy watched as Drey walked up to Chris who was standing at the river bank as if waiting  for someone
"What now? do you plan to attack us in a remote place like this?" Drey asked
Chris sighed, tired of the back and forth banter that never seems to end with Drey
"We're almost there Drey, just chill and stop getting on my nerves."
Drey was about to retort when two speed boats came rushing towards them on the water.
"There comes our ride." Chris announced and skeptically they all got on and continued the journey, but Mica kept her eyes on the alphas riding the boats, she couldn't place what she was feeling but there was an air of familiarity about them that she doesn't understand.
It took more hours of fast boat riding before they arrived at an isolated but not remote island. It was as if a new pack was forming and quickly growing.
Mica's heart beat became fast as she looked around beginning to get scent of people all around, Drey and Oliver had their eyes open in shock while Jeremy looked at them dumbfounded not getting their surprise yet.
"What is going on here?" Mica rushed
to block Chris' path. "This place, this people, they smell like..."
"Rendro Park wolves?" Chris cut her off and she gulped.
"That is because it is the new and integrating Rendro Park."
"How is this even possible? You and your squad have been hunting and killing them for years."

"That's what the press believed from what we showed and told them, but me and a few others who thought alike brought them here to keep them safe."
The three alphas stared at Chris dumbfounded not knowing what to make of this and so seeing they are short of words, he turned to Jeremy.
"I promised you a safe pack you and Jaden can belong to without fear and here it is."
"What will happen to all these people when the world government finds this
place out? You said the world government is after my kind" Jeremy expressed concern
Chris smiled as he looked around at the bustling new pack.
"I guess thanks to my regrettable action that led to his son losing his male omega mate, Percy Locsin began a high class campaign against killing anymore Rendro wolves, it's been going strong for quite some time now."
"My father?" Drey asked surprised, this was the first time he was hearing this
"Yes, your father, you losing your mate
reminded him of a past that still haunted him, who could have thought that alpha with a bright personality had such a sad past."
Drey's brows furrowed
"What are you talking about?"
"It's not my place to say" Chris said and turned to Jeremy who was already wandering around with Mica. It was still really early and so there were not much people around, but it already felt like home.
"We should go" Chris called making the duo rush over.
"Is this even real?" Oliver muttered as he walked behind Mica.
Drey stood still glaring speechless when he felt Jeremy's hand slip into his, and he looked to see him smiling at him,
"Lets go Drey."
Drey paused, Jeremy had removed his skin patch and his scent was on full blast mood and with the happy pheromones he was releasing, he smelt heavenly and looked bright.
He unstrapped the baby holder from Jeremy and strapped Jaden to himself before grabbing his hand again.
"Yeah. let's go." He smiled back at the omega.
