Chapter 46 Blackmail
After a couple of days, she was not surprised when Thyago came back to her pad again that night. As usual, he was at the front door of her pad waiting for her. She knew he will come back and will not stop bugging her with his damn dirty proposal.
"Leave, I don't wanna talk to you." She stated then put her keys on the keyhole to open the door.
"I could have waited for you inside but I don't wanna upset you so I rather wait here." He said instead of listening to what she said.
She couldn't be surprised if he did that though. Knowing his power and connections. He could even hire a thug or professional locksmith to have access to his pad and get inside. Okay, she might be exaggerating on that part but can you blame her? It came out right from his mouth, does he?
He followed her when she enter her pad without waiting to be invited and he's even the one who close the door for her. With this man and his rude behavior, what would she expect from him?
"You know why I came here, baby." He stated then ralaxingly settled himself on the couch.
"My answer was no, Thyago. I will not marry you so please leave." She replied in a stiff and cold voice.
"Come on, don't make this hard for me baby. I'll save your firm. I'll do want you want me to. Just tell me anything you want, I won't hesitate to give you. You don't know how crazy about you baby..." He said in a cool tone like he was just offering a business proposal.
"Didn't know you could be desperate this way? To even think you hated me before?" She replied full of sarcasm.
"Feelings change, baby. How about you? You keep on saying you hate me but that's not what your body tells me every time I do you." He stated lustfully as his eyes sensually raked her body.
This man and his dirty foul words! She was taken aback. She felt her face flushed in embarrassment and anger. They battled glares for a while but she did not expect his next actions because he drastically pulled her so she end up sitting in his lap.
"Marry me and I'll save your firm in bankruptcy. Not only that, if you want expansion for your firm, I can easily do that. If you wanna build branches outside the country I can make that happen too." He scoops her face and gently caressed it.
Lust, that's what she can see in his eyes and that made her downy hair raised. Funny because a hidden part of her wished that the reason he wants to marry her is because he love her. Who is she fooling anyway?
"So you are buying me?" Words couldn't escape from her mouth.
She couldn't believe he was that desperate in marrying her. It doesn't please her, in fact, she feels insulted. How she hated this manipulative cunning man!
"If that's what you think, then yes." He uttered solemnly.
"What else do you need? A mansion, a yacht, or an island? Just name it and I won't hesitate to give it. Just marry me Bea, your body, heart, and soul, surrender it all to me and I'll give anything money could ever offer."
He sensually touch her thigh and she shivered uncomfortably. His words were like a punishment that deafening and scaring the hell out of her and his eyes are making love with her in a rugged way, that's what she could see in those blue orbs. She could feel her knees weaken with the words coming out of his mouth because she knew Thyago can play dirty.
"After blackmailing me, now you're buying me to marry you? You're pathetic, Thyago. You are disgusting and desperate!" She stated full of hate and insults.
"You just have no idea what else I can do just to have you, Bea." He came closer to her ear and whisper those words erotically.
"No. I won't marry you. I will not give you my lifetime!" She stated angrily.
"Oh come on, you know you can't decline my proposition. You have no other option." He replied harshly in a boastful and insulting way.
Unfortunately, he was right. There's no one who can help her this time. It was only him. Even her boyfriend Matt is no longer communicating with her. She was not stupid what is the real score of their relationship now. It's like he was simply telling her they were done.
"How can you be sure? Matt promised to help me." She lied trying to save her pride. By this at least, he can make him believe with this lie to turn down his filthy offer.
"Who? Your boyfriend who's currently avoiding you?" He laughed sardonically and that insulted her more.
Shit! how did he know about that?
"Did you had us investigated?" She asked suspiciously.
"Yeah, sort of. You see, you have no other option than accept my offer, baby. You don't wanna lose your firm do you?" He stated wickedly.
A demon, that's what he looks like at the very moment. Why did she even thought this man has affection? He only cares about his lustful needs and how he was being thrilled to have her.
"I hate you!" She shouted angrily through greeted teeth.
"Why am not surprised." He replied sarcastically.
She pushed him away to let go of his hold. She stand up but she just ended up sitting back on the couch beside her when he pulled her back.
"So I guess we have a deal. Marry me and I'll fix your problem in your firm. " He started evilly.
"One more thing. That good for nothing boyfriend of yours, I want you to get rid of him. I don't want you seeing him anymore. Remember you're mine now, always keep that in mind." Her eyes pierced him.
"Why Thyago? Why do you wanna marry me?"
"Do I have to answer that? I told you, my desire to monopolize you was very strong. I want you more than you can ever imagine and I will do what it takes to have you mine. You know I can also play dirty, Bea. I can easily pull strings to bring your boyfriend's business down if he tried to get in the way. I can ruin his life in just a flick of my fingers. So if I were you, just follow what I want and marry me." He said with his voice full of danger. She suddenly felt her downy hair raised.
"This is blackmail!"
"You have no other options. Marry me or you'll lose everything!" He said viciously.
This selfish man? He was ruthless and evil! She knew how powerful he is. He can play dirty just to have what he wants. The mere fact she was now carrying his baby, now she regrets why did she let him be a part of her life again? He will never get a hold of her if she never let him jeopardize her life in the first place.
"And what if I refuse to marry you?" Although she knew she finally gave up. She still manages to ask this.
"You know I take no for an answer, baby. If I can't convince you. I can always play dirty. I can always use force knowing this is what you want." He stated savagely.
The next thing he did is she never expected. He immediately cupped her face then drastically claimed her lips trying to punish her. She wiggles free and pushed him as strong as she can then slap him hard in the face. He got stunned by her slap and she knew she inflicted pain on him. They battled glares for a moment before she heard the brute laughed viciously trying to mock her.
"You slap so hard, uh?" He said wearing that evil smile.
"I hate you so much!" She furiously shouted. Disregarding her anger, he stand up on the couch and fixed his suit.
"I'll have my lawyer settle the millions you need on your firm so don't worry anymore. Soon enough things will get back to normal. I'll be leaving out of the country for a week for business stuff. You have a week to get rid of that bastard in your life and when I came back, well do the preparations for our wedding." He stated very coolly as if she already agreed to his proposal.
Damn him! How can he manage to stay relaxed and cool while she was glaring at him wanting so bad to strangle his neck? Is this the kind of father her baby was going to have? And what if he found out about the baby? Will he's going to accept it? He might wanna marry her but he never said he wants a child from her too.
"Another thing. Fix your stuff because I want you to live temporarily in my penthouse while were not yet married." He added.
"I'm not leaving here!" She opposed while eyes piercing his.
"Trust me, you will." He uttered solemnly. They battled gazes for a moment until she was the one who finally gave up and jerked her eyes away from him.
"I see it is getting late. As much as I wanted to spend the night here, I know it was wrong. Were not married yet." He said maliciously while looking at his wristwatch.
"Don't play such a sensible gentleman because you're not!" She snapped on him.
It's not like you already took my virginity, you moron!!!
"I was just doing the right thing now, Bea." He said while grinning.
"I hate you, you fucking asshole!"
She was stunned on her next action because he drastically grabbed her arm, pulled her hair then kissed her fully in the mouth. She tried to push him but he was strong she couldn't let go of him. He kept on kissing her hard for quite a long time and when he was done, he pushed her through the wall, came closer to her, and looked fiercely in her eyes.
"This fucking asshole you call will be your husband soon. Enough with your insults because I punish hard, baby. Trust me, you will never like it if when I reached my limits, Bea." He warned as he breathes harshly as if trying to restrain his feelings.
He once kissed her hard again but this time it was hungry and passionate. God knows how she restrain herself to keep the moan of pleasure escape her mouth because the kind of kiss he was giving her now was hot, pervent, and coaxing. To her dismay, he then let go of her when she was about to respond then walked away leaving her confused and stunned.
When she felt he was totally gone, that's when she breathes normally and figures things out. Oh damn, she suddenly felt dizzier and stressed out about what's going on in her life now. She has no choice anymore. Knowing he was now carrying a little life in her tummy, she has to think of her child's welfare too. It is one more reason she has to agree to his proposal. She knew how it feels like to have incomplete parents. It's not that bad but it is something she was not proud to be. She knew there is always that missing part that she yearns for and she doesn't want her child to experience the same thing she felt before.
Oh god, what will I do now?
How did her life turn out this way? She tried her best to avoid Thyago. She promised herself that if they ever meet again eight years ago, she will be strong enough and will never get involved with him again. But what did she do? She gave in to him and let her feelings take over again just like before. Now that he had her pregnant, she just gave him a reason to be a part of her life and hurt her again. He had changed, he was no longer the same Thyago she used to love and adore. He was nothing but a selfish manipulative deceitful man who plays dirty just to have what he wants. He was brusque and mean. He is nothing in comparison to the Theodore Agustine Williams Jr. she used to admire way back in her younger age. Sometimes, she was wondering if they were the same person? They were the same faces, yes, but a whole lot different in characters. The Thyago she knew used to be sweet, generous, thoughtful, and gentleman- characters she liked and adores the most in him the reason she fell for him. Why does he turn out this way, she just has no idea?
