In the bright room, Deanna and Lance nestled together, creating an indescribably warm and beautiful scene.
It was unclear how much time had passed before they both calmed down.
"You..."
"You..."
They spoke almost simultaneously. Seeing that the other had something to say, they both paused and then said in unison, "You go first."
At this, they couldn't help but exchange a glance and laugh.
"I didn't expect us to be so in sync," Lance said, lowering his head affectionately to touch his forehead to Deanna's.
Deanna, though a bit shy, boldly hugged the man in front of her and smiled lightly. "Yes, I didn't expect us to be so in sync. How about you go first?"
"No, you go first. As your boyfriend, I should let you speak first," Lance teased with a raised eyebrow, his tone filled with such affection that it was almost overwhelming.
Deanna looked at the man in front of her with sparkling eyes, her heart feeling as sweet as if she had drunk honey. "I'll be blunt then. On the first day of our love, I hope you can find another place to stay. Can you do that?"
She smiled like a little fox, her eyes full of cunning light.
Lance was not surprised at all. "Well..."
He deliberately dragged out the word, making Deanna's heart race. She thought he would agree since it was their first day together and he wouldn't refuse her request.
Deanna wanted some time to adjust to her new role and needed some peace. She also needed time to prepare mentally for living together.
Just as she was lost in thought, she suddenly found herself and Lance falling onto the bed, with him on top of her. She was stunned by the handsome man so close to her.
Before she could react, his face moved closer, and he kissed her. "Fool, close your eyes," Lance gently reminded her as she stared at him blankly during the kiss.
Deanna instinctively closed her eyes even though she hadn't fully processed what was happening. Under the light, her long eyelashes trembled slightly, and her whole body stiffened, unsure of what to do.
Lance noticed her tension and kissed the corner of her mouth, his voice low and husky with a hint of temptation. "Relax, I won't take you."
Whether it was his words or something else, Deanna gradually relaxed and even began to tentatively respond to Lance's kiss. At that moment, Lance's breathing became rapid, his eyes darkening with intensity.
He looked down at the woman with her eyes closed in his arms, his restraint crumbling. He tightened his grip on the back of her head and deepened the kiss, savoring the sweet taste.
Deanna had never experienced anything like this before and felt dizzy from the kiss, her body going limp as she let him take control.
As time passed, the room's temperature rose higher and higher. Just as things were about to get out of hand, Lance abruptly stopped. He used all his strength to pull away from her, his breathing still erratic.
Deanna noticed he had stopped and looked at him in confusion, not understanding why he had stopped. Her eyes were filled with a seductive glow that was almost too much for Lance to bear.
Lance took a deep breath and suddenly covered her eyes with his hand. "Don't look at me like that. I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself," he said in a hoarse voice.
After a while, they both finally calmed down. Thinking about what had just happened made Deanna blush furiously with embarrassment.
She avoided looking at the man beside her. Lance noticed her shyness but found it endearing. Her red cheeks looked like ripe apples, tempting him to take a bite.
And he did just that.
"Ah-Lance, what are you doing?" Deanna exclaimed in surprise as she felt his action. She leaned back slightly and touched her bitten cheek in astonishment.
Lance saw her reaction and felt a twinge of regret. The delicate sensation had been addictive, but there would be more opportunities in the future.
He teased Deanna with a smile. "You looked so cute that I couldn't help myself."
The unexpected compliment made Deanna's heart skip a beat and her pulse race again. "Stop saying that. I'm already a mother of two. Never mind, I'm going to wash up."
With that, she turned and went into the bathroom. Closing the door behind her, she leaned against it, feeling her heart race like a little deer inside her chest. Despite everything, she felt an indescribable sweetness and happiness.
