"I have delivered the lawyer's letter to Miss Cody as per your instructions and conveyed your message to her."
"Good. What did she say?" Lance looked up.
Attorney Justin replied truthfully, "It seems Miss Cody does not intend to admit to this matter."
As soon as he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door, and Xavier walked in.
He stood in the middle of the room and respectfully reported, "Mr. Mercer, Bella is downstairs and wants to see you."
Lance raised an eyebrow, already guessing the purpose of her visit.
