As soon as the teacher finished speaking, applause erupted in the classroom.
The parents were even more astonished.
Two children, only three or four years old, already had math skills at a third-grade level! What an incredible concept.
Their intelligence was simply extraordinary...
Everyone couldn't help but start praising the two little ones.
"Deanna, how did you train Chloe and Gregory?"
"Yes, do you have any educational tips? Please share your experience with us. My naughty child gives me a headache every day!"
Deanna smiled and said a few words, agreeing with them.
After the meeting, the parents' conference finally came to an end.
"I announce that today's parents' meeting is over. Since there are no classes scheduled today, the children can leave with their parents."
As they walked out of the kindergarten, Chloe pouted, looking reluctant.
"Is the Daddy Experience Day over now?"
She had finally experienced a day with a daddy, but happiness had come and gone so quickly.
Chloe's face was full of unhappiness.
Deanna reached out and patted the little one's head, saying, "Mr. Mercer is very busy. He has taken a lot of time today, so let's not trouble him any further."
For someone like Lance to take out half a day was already beyond her expectations.
Having helped so much, she didn't want to trouble him further.
Beside her, Lance spoke up.
"It's okay. The experience day lasts the whole day. Since it's early, do you want to go somewhere? I can accompany you."
Seeing the two little ones looking so sad, he felt reluctant to part with them too.
Hearing this, Deanna was surprised.
Her eyes flickered. "Aren't you supposed to go to the company now?"
Lance explained, "I took a day off today. It's rare to have a day off, so I want to spend it with them. I don't want to go to work."
"Didn't you also say that I shouldn't work so hard and should rest when needed?"
Deanna chuckled. This reason left her with nothing to argue against.
Beside them, the two little ones were already excited and cheering.
They immediately raised their little hands. "Can we go to the aquarium to see the fish?"
They had wanted to go for a long time but never had the chance.
Usually, Deanna was busy and couldn't take them, or they were in kindergarten and had no time.
Now that they finally had time, they couldn't miss this opportunity.
Lance nodded and agreed. "Sure."
Then he called Xavier.
"Drive over and pick me up."
A few minutes later, Xavier arrived.
After getting in the car, the two little ones sat in the back seat, excitedly looking outside and inside the car.
Their faces were full of anticipation and joy that couldn't be hidden.
Deanna smiled helplessly. "Aren't your expressions a bit too exaggerated!"
"Anyone who doesn't know might think I never let you two go out to play."
Chloe stuck out her tongue playfully. "It's different. Today we're going out with Daddy and Mommy!"
Gregory, sitting beside her, echoed, "Yes, it's rare for us to go out as a family."
A family.
Upon hearing these two words, Lance's eyes softened even more.
He smiled silently.
Looking at the two little ones, Deanna felt helpless too.
She quickly reminded them, "Okay, when we get to the aquarium, you two must not run around. Stay close to Mommy."
The two little ones nodded quickly.
"Got it, Mommy. Don't worry; we'll be good."
They arrived at the aquarium.
The two little ones were so excited that as soon as they got out of the car, they ran straight in like wild horses off the leash, completely uncontrollable.
What Deanna had told them in the car was now completely forgotten.
Deanna and Lance were left behind.
"Slow down! Don't fall."
Deanna couldn't keep up and had to shout loudly.
Then she looked at the man beside her and sighed helplessly.
"You spoil them too much."
Usually, she wouldn't indulge the two little ones like this.
Lance chuckled. "Just this once. It won't happen again."
"It's rare for them to be so happy today. I don't want to disappoint them."
Seeing the hope in their eyes, Lance couldn't bear to refuse them.
Deanna understood but feared that once they experienced it, they would want more.
While she was sighing, the voices of the two little ones came from ahead.
"Daddy, Mommy, come and see this!"
"Daddy, come quickly."
