That evening, Lance arrived at the hospital on time.
He held a bouquet of vibrant roses and walked tenderly towards Deanna. "These are for you."
The two little ones cheered from the side.
Passersby also turned their heads to look.
Deanna didn't mind the attention. She accepted the bouquet with a smile, took a gentle sniff, and said with a raised corner of her mouth, "Smart move, you understood my hint. Let's go home."
She extended her hand haughtily, signaling Lance to support her.
Lance's eyes were full of affection as he helped Deanna into the car.
The two little ones whispered to each other as they watched.
"Gregory, doesn't it look like Daddy and Mommy are back in their honeymoon phase?"
"It's not that they're back; Daddy and Mommy have always been in love," Gregory replied wisely.
Soon, the family of four returned to the manor.
Dinner was prepared by Deanna; Lance was helping her when she was doing some cooking
The atmosphere was warm and sweet.
After dinner, Lance didn't leave immediately. Instead, he took Deanna to the home theater room.
The two little ones followed closely behind. Seeing the large screen in the room, they excitedly asked, "Daddy, are we here to watch a movie?"
"It's been so long since we watched a movie with Mommy."
Hearing this, Deanna glanced at the man beside her, also thinking they were going to watch a movie. She asked, "What movie are we watching?"
Lance replied mysteriously, "You'll find out soon."
He gestured for Deanna to sit down, then sat beside her.
The two little ones sat next to them.
At this moment, the screen lit up, revealing a beautiful flower field.
As time passed, the two little ones exclaimed in surprise.
"It's Mommy."
On the screen, Deanna stepped out of a car and into the flower field.
Deanna raised an eyebrow and glanced at the man beside her.
At that moment, Lance also looked at her with eyes full of love.
The scene on the screen continued. Deanna reached a flower arch where her friend Julia appeared.
"Julia, what are you doing here?" Screen-Deanna asked in surprise.
Julia's joyful voice responded, "Of course it's me! How could I miss such an important day? Come with me."
She took Deanna's hand and led her forward.
Soon, they saw star-like lights ahead.
These lights were held by people standing around them, each holding a light board.
Lance's tall figure appeared behind the crowd, holding flowers as he walked slowly towards Deanna.
With his appearance, the crowd erupted in good-natured cheers.
"Deanna, will you marry me?"
On the screen, the handsome man knelt on one knee, looking at her with eyes full of love.
Deanna watched in a daze as memories and sounds from the screen overlapped in her mind.
Deanna, will you marry me?
"I will."
Deanna snapped back to reality and saw on the screen that Lance was putting a ring on her finger amid cheers from the crowd.
Lance noticed her change in expression and gently took her hand. "This is our proposal video. I originally planned to show it at our wedding as a surprise. I didn't expect things to turn out this way."
"Daddy didn't take me and brother to the proposal. After proposing, he even ran off with Mommy," Chloe complained to Deanna, wrinkling her nose.
Gregory nodded in agreement. "Daddy is too much. We helped him win Mommy back, but he abandoned us afterward."
Lance didn't expect the two little ones to complain at this moment. He was both amused and exasperated.
Deanna looked at him and then at the two little ones. "So how did you punish him afterward?"
The two little ones were stumped.
Daddy had bought them lots of gifts afterward, and they had forgotten about it.
Thinking of this made them even more indignant. "Mommy, Daddy bullied us!"
"How did he bully you?" Deanna asked with a chuckle.
The two little ones couldn't come up with an answer.
Lance said, "Although I didn't take you to the proposal that day, didn't your mommy and I bring you gifts afterward?"
He added, "And they were exactly what you wanted."
The two little ones had no rebuttal.
Seeing them speechless, Deanna laughed heartily.
Lance looked at her smiling face and asked with concern, "Did watching the video bring back any memories?"
Deanna didn't hide it. "Some images flashed through my mind, but they were very blurry."
