Chapter 1087: This Man Wants to Kill Her

Old Ashley had felt this way before. That time, she had lost her only daughter.

Thinking of this, her face turned pale, and she stumbled towards Lance's study.

"Lance-"

She pushed the door open and approached Lance with tears in her eyes.

Seeing this, Lance suppressed the discomfort in his heart, handed her a tissue, and asked with concern, "What's wrong, Grandma?"

"Do you have any news about Deanna?"

Old Ashley spoke with a sobbing voice, the anxiety in her chest making it hard for her to breathe.

Lance noticed her distress and immediately wheeled himself over. "Grandma, are you alright?"

Old Ashley grabbed his arm and cried, "Lance, you must find Deanna. I have a feeling something has happened to her. When her mother was in trouble, I felt the same way. Now I feel it again. Deanna must be in danger. You must save her."

By the end of her plea, she was crying uncontrollably.

Lance was also shocked.

"You feel the same heart palpitations?"

He tightly grasped her hand and questioned.

She nodded, sobbing, and repeatedly begged Lance, "Please find Deanna quickly. I'm afraid if we delay any longer, she'll meet the same fate as her mother."

Upon hearing this, Lance's expression turned serious.

"Grandma, I'll go find Eula right now."

He hurriedly wheeled himself out of the study and shouted, "Sam, get the car ready!"

Sam didn't know what was happening but sensed the urgency in Lance's voice and immediately prepared the car.

In no time, Lance left the estate with his men.

Gunner heard the commotion and came from the backyard. He saw Old Ashley leaning against the door frame, wiping tears from her face.

"Deanna's grandma, what's wrong? Did Lance make you cry?"

He quickly walked over with concern.

Old Ashley shook her head and explained hoarsely, "It's not Lance. I feel that something has happened to Deanna. When Deanna's mother was in trouble, I sensed it too... I can't imagine what we'll do if something happens to Deanna. How will Gregory and Chloe cope?"

She couldn't hold back her tears anymore.

Gunner was shocked and deeply concerned.

He didn't doubt her words. After all, such phenomena are recognized in medical circles as bloodline sensing.

Seeing the heartbroken Old Ashley, Gunner didn't know how to comfort her and could only stand by her side as she vented her emotions.

Meanwhile, Lance urged the driver to speed up along the way.

Finally, in less than ten minutes, they arrived at the hotel where Eula was temporarily staying.

As soon as he got out of the car, Xavier approached and reported, "I asked the front desk earlier; Eula hasn't left the hotel today."

"Have people guard all exits of the hotel."

Lance instructed and wheeled himself into the hotel.

Xavier immediately ordered the bodyguards and followed Lance inside.

The hotel staff were intimidated by their imposing presence and didn't dare to make a sound.

As soon as Lance appeared in the hotel, Eula received a report from her subordinates.

"You said Lance is here to see me?"

Eula was surprised and frowned, not understanding why Lance was here at this time.

Could he have found some evidence?

Thinking of this, Eula instructed over the phone, "Stay on standby downstairs and await my orders."

Almost as soon as she finished speaking, there was a loud noise outside her room.

Before she could react, the bedroom door was pushed open, and a group of well-trained bodyguards entered to seize her.

Eula wasn't about to let them touch her. She rolled off the bed to avoid them.

She glared at them and shouted, "Who allowed you to come in? Get out!"

"I did!"

Lance wheeled himself slowly into the room from outside.

He looked at Eula with a murderous gaze.

Eula's pupils contracted as she met his eyes.

There was no mistaking it; she felt a real killing intent from Lance at that moment.

This man wanted to kill her!

Suppressing her fear, she gritted her teeth and asked, "What do you mean by this?"

"I'll ask you one last time: will you hand over Deanna or not?"

Lance didn't answer but pressed her with his question.

Eula's eyelashes fluttered slightly.

Before she could speak, Lance's voice rang out again, "You have only one chance. Think carefully before you answer."

"So you're trying to force a confession?"

Eula clenched her fists, trying to stay calm.

She didn't believe Lance would really kill her. She met his gaze and continued to deny it: "I told you, I didn't capture Deanna. How many times do I have to say it for you to understand?"
