Chapter 204: A Wedding None of Them Saw Coming
Elena Steel.
Tessa Quinn.
Alexandra Moore.
Three women who had spent most of their lives avoiding traditions, expectations, and anything remotely resembling a fairytale.
So the idea of planning a wedding—let alone three—was the worst kind of nightmare.
They didn’t care about flower arrangements.
They didn’t care about centerpieces.
They didn’t give a damn about the exact shade of ivory on the napkins.
And their fiancés?
Dominic Hale, Zayn Rivera, and Liam Carter knew that better than anyone.
So they came up with a plan.
A ridiculous, insane, borderline chaotic plan.
A triple wedding.
Because if they were going to do this, they were going to do it their way.
And, naturally, Damon Hale was the one who had the perfect location.
"Why not just do it at our place?" Damon suggested, leaning against the kitchen counter as he watched the three musketeers—Dominic, Zayn, and Liam—sit around the table, plotting.
Zayn raised a brow. "You serious?"
Damon shrugged. "It makes sense. You want a big wedding venue? We have one. The backyard is massive, we’re all family, and let’s be honest—the girls couldn’t care less about the details."
Liam exhaled. "He’s got a point."
Dominic, who had been quiet until now, nodded.
"Fine. But if we’re doing this," he said, "it needs to be handled properly. No half-assing it."
Zayn smirked. "Since when do we half-ass anything?"
Damon grinned. "Perfect. I’ll handle logistics. You three handle everything else."
Liam sighed, rubbing his temples. "I have a bad feeling about this."
Zayn chuckled. "You’re about to marry Alexandra. I’d be worried if you didn’t."
Liam rolled his eyes.
And just like that—
The most ridiculous wedding plan in Apex history was officially set in motion.
Seraphina Hale was in charge of getting the women out of the house.
Because while the men took on the impossible task of planning a triple wedding, the brides-to-be had only one job.
Find dresses.
It should have been simple.
It was not.
Because none of them wanted to do this.
Seraphina practically had to drag Elena, Tessa, and Alexandra to the boutique, threatening violence if they even thought about complaining.
"Listen," Seraphina muttered as she parked in front of the boutique, "you don’t have to care about the details, but you do have to look good. And if I have to suffer through this, so do you."
Tessa groaned. "Can’t I just wear black?"
Seraphina narrowed her eyes. "I will personally fight you."
Elena sighed, already regretting everything. "This is stupid."
Alexandra, the only one attempting optimism, shrugged. "At least we only have to do this once."
Tessa scowled. "I still don’t know how the guys tricked us into this."
Seraphina smirked. "They planned a triple wedding. That was their first genius move. Now, let’s go. Before I call Damon to drag you all inside."
That got them moving.
Because if there was one thing more terrifying than a wedding, it was a determined Damon Hale.
Planning one wedding was a challenge.
Planning three was a tactical operation.
And Dominic, Zayn, and Liam were treating it exactly like that.
They were in full strategy mode.
Damon had handed them a schedule, a guest list, and a full logistical breakdown of how the event was going to be executed.
Because, apparently, Damon Hale ran weddings like he ran covert operations.
Zayn tossed a folder onto the table. "Alright, what’s next?"
Liam sighed, flipping through the checklist. "Food. We need catering."
Dominic, who had been quietly going through files, looked up.
"Dominic?" Liam prompted.
Dominic smirked.
"Why do we need catering when we have Dominic Hale?"
Liam and Zayn stared.
"You want to cook for your own wedding?" Zayn asked, brows raised.
Dominic shrugged. "I trust my food more than I trust some overpriced chef."
Liam snorted. "You just don’t want anyone messing with your grill."
Dominic didn’t deny it.
Zayn grinned. "Fine. You handle food. I’ll take care of music."
Liam blinked. "You’re on music duty? Oh, this is going to be a disaster."
Zayn smirked. "It’s going to be legendary."
Liam groaned. "I regret this already."
Damon walked in just in time to hear that.
"You should," he muttered, dropping a box on the table.
Zayn opened it, brows furrowing.
"What’s this?"
Damon grinned.
"Your suits."
Zayn blinked. "Already?"
Damon shrugged. "I don’t waste time."
Liam picked his up, inspecting it.
"Okay, not bad," he admitted. "I was expecting something ridiculous."
Damon smirked. "You don’t trust me?"
Liam and Zayn exchanged a look.
Then, in perfect unison—
"No."
Damon laughed.
And the chaos continued.
By the time Seraphina and the women returned, the men were still in full planning mode.
Tessa, carrying exactly zero bags, arched a brow.
"Please tell me you’re not actually enjoying this."
Liam, without looking up, muttered—
"We’re treating it like a mission."
Tessa scowled. "That’s not better."
Elena, who had been dreading the wedding process, narrowed her eyes at Dominic.
"You look way too calm," she muttered.
Dominic shrugged.
"I’m cooking."
Elena sighed.
Of course he was.
Seraphina, standing beside Damon, crossed her arms.
"How much damage have they done?" she asked.
Damon smirked.
"More than they realize."
Alexandra, looking between them, sighed.
"This wedding is going to be insane, isn’t it?"
Liam, grinning, nodded.
"Oh, absolutely."
Zayn wrapped an arm around Tessa’s waist.
"You love it."
Tessa groaned. "Unfortunately, I do."
And just like that—
The most chaotic wedding in Apex history was officially underway.
