Chapter 114 The Reveal

As the sisters grappled with this shocking revelation, a figure darted toward them with the agility of a shadow, it was Mike, with his signature curved blade in hand.

A few hundred meters behind him, a hundred riders charged forward at breakneck speed.

As a General of the highest rank, Mike's ability to sense the energy of combat was exceptional, extending over ten miles unless the opponent concealed their aura intentionally. That day, he was handling some business nearby, and when the presence of another top-tier General surfaced, he rushed over immediately.

"The audacity of these Dark Realm folks, thinking they can get away with murder!" Mike's gaze turned icy as he observed the scene before him, his face darkened with fury.

The fact that the Shadow Gang had failed to detect such a formidable presence meant that he bore the main responsibility.

Worse, the enemies had dared to take Liam's family hostage, and this spelled major trouble.

He had made up his mind. Once he settled the current situation, even if Liam didn't take action, he would make sure the Dark Realm's BS Hall was erased from existence.

"You're quick on the draw, aren't you? Not too shabby," the seductive woman remarked with a smile as she turned to Liam.

"I am quite curious though, what exactly are you three doing here in CUG City? According to our intel, all the Generals of the Summer Country's Eastern District should be stationed at the border."

"I'll give you a minute to think it over. Release them, and I'll spare your life," a frosty aura began to emanate from Liam.

Amelia and the others were in the enemy's grasp, so he dared not make any rash moves.

Even in their dying breath, a General of the highest rank could effortlessly claim the life of a Blaze Warrior, let alone a civilian.

"Such a big talker!" The woman laughed. "Would you like a reminder?"

"There are three Generals on your side, but we have four, plus I've got twenty late-stage Blaze Warriors. Do you think you stand a chance?"

Her tone turned grave "Enough talk. If you don't want something bad to happen to them, cripple your power and kneel before me right now!"

"Outrageous!" Robert and Mike roared in unison, their eyes sharpened into focused daggers of fury. How dare they demand Liam to kneel, it was as if they were courting death!

"I'm giving you to the count of three to kneel, or they meet Aaron first," the seductive woman said, disregarding Mike and Robert as she continued her threat.

"These ladies are quite the lookers, aren't they? I'm sure Aaron would be very pleased!"

"You do realize, because of your actions today, BS Hall is going to be wiped off the map of the underground world!" Liam retorted, breaking the tense silence.

The woman, Marcella, let out a mocking laugh. "I didn't know you had such a sense of humor!"

"Let's not discuss whether you lot will leave here alive today. Even if you do, do you think a couple of generals have the power to get BS Hall axed?"

"Do you have any clue about the strength of the ruling Parker family? Truly, ignorance is bliss!" After saying that, a murderous aura swept from her as she commanded again, "Kneel!"

"Marcella, your beef is with me. Let them go, and I'll come with you!" Just then, a woman's voice intervened, and all eyes fell on the figure of Blood Rose emerging into view.

"Well, if it isn't the lady of BR Hall herself!" Marcella's eyes narrowed upon seeing Blood Rose.

"I was planning on paying you a visit after avenging Aaron, but here you are, making my job easier!" While speaking, Marcella gauged the energy emanating from Blood Rose, and to her utter surprise, it was vastly different than before.

Marcella had been present during the BS Hall's siege on the BR Hall headquarters and had witnessed Blood Rose sustaining severe injuries from her very own hand, an injury so dire that her prowess had been reduced to less than that of a Blaze Warrior.

Marcella was certain that, at the time, whether Blood Rose could survive the next three months was a question on its own. Yet now, not only had Blood Rose's injuries almost fully healed, but she also appeared to have ascended to a new level, a thought unfathomably astonishing.

"Mr. Thompson, I apologize for dragging you into this," Blood Rose said, not responding to Marcella's statements. She approached Liam and bowed deeply with a flash of genuine remorse in her eyes.

Marcella's gaze flickered with astonishment at this. Having known Blood Rose for many years, she was well aware of her character, a woman of unwavering defiance who had never shown submission to anyone. Yet, here she was, displaying such reverence to the young man, sparking Marcella's curiosity about Liam's identity.

"Do you know her?" Liam inquired, turning his attention to Blood Rose.

Blood Rose nodded. "Her name is Marcella, the woman of the BS Hall Chairman, and she also serves as the Vice-Chair."

"Chairman Rose, aren't you going to introduce me to this handsome fellow?" Marcella asked, turning her gaze toward Blood Rose.

"Marcella, you don't even realize the extent of the trouble you've created," Blood Rose replied, her eyes icing over as she stared at the other woman.

"Release them now, and I'll come with you, or I swear I'll end my life right here, and you won't get a word out of me!" Her aura surged furiously as she spoke, escalating to an apex in an instant.

However, she showed no signs of stopping. A determined flash in her eyes was followed by a further intensification of her presence.

In a short while, her figure appeared slightly swollen, like a bomb with a lit fuse, ready to explode at any moment.

Understanding her intentions, Marcella furrowed her brows tightly.

Liam and the others by his side, naturally also grasped Blood Rose's meaning. Surprise flickered in their eyes, yet they remained silent.

"Vice-Chair," the authoritative man beside Marcella spoke up, "our Chairman has ordered that she must be brought back alive!"

Liam squinted slightly upon hearing their conversation. They weren't here to assassinate Blood Rose but to capture her, this was unexpected.

It seemed that Blood Rose had more she hadn't shared with him!

"I've got to admit, I'm impressed by you," Marcella said after taking a deep breath.

"You're now a Level 3 Generalissimo, and having you with us is like strapping a live bomb to my side."

She could see the determination in Blood Rose's eyes. If she didn't release the prisoners, Blood Rose might truly self-destruct.

That was the last thing Marcella wanted to see.

Her primary mission in coming to the Summer Country was to bring Blood Rose back alive. If Blood Rose were to die, Marcella wouldn't be able to face the consequences back home.

After speaking, Marcella took out a pill and tossed it to Blood Rose. "Swallow this, and I'll set them free."
