The first night went fast, yes, I made a few mistake and I had an incident but for the first night I thought it didn’t go to bad. At the end of the night Jason was even impressed with me which was good because we started on the wrong foot. John checked in on me a few times but Jason said he was looking for his friend that is there every night except tonight which was weird for John and Jason but I’ll see when I meet him. I helped clean the Bar area although Jason said he would do it on his own but I insisted. This is my work as well and I need the job just as much as he does. When we finally got to the locker room, I saw my water bottle and realized I didn’t have anything to drink on my shift. “Oh fuck.” I said a bit to load. “What’s wrong?” Jason asked “Nothing.” I said to quickly. “I thought we kissed and made up.” Jason said winking at me. “Okay fine I forgot to drink my water, you know I had to start work on Monday?” “Yes, I’m aware that’s partly why I was so pissed at you.” “Well Jason then I think I should tell you I’m pregnant and I was in hospital because I was dehydrated and seeing my water bottle now, I realized I didn’t drink it.” “Fuck Jojo.” He said grabbing his head. “And here I had you picking up heavy stuff.” “I’m pregnant Jason not paralyzed I can still do everything you can probable not for long but I can.” “That is why you freaked out about the guy forcing you to drink?” “Yes, and I already made a few mistakes with this pregnancy I don’t want to make more.” “Thank you for telling me, now John telling me to handle you with kid gloves makes more sense.” “I don’t want you to.” “I get it and I won’t I promise I will still be a dick.” “Don’t go that far.” I said laughing at him as we walked out of the locker room.
“Where have you parked?” He asked ask we got outside. “Where the staff members should park.” “Good God women who took you there?” “Sean did.” “Oh, he probable wanted you to cling to him when you walk back there.” “No, he actually said I should ask you to walk me.” “What about I drive you there.” “That can work my feet is killing me.” We walked to a parking area like in a few steps from the Hotel. “Why didn’t he show me this?” “I told you he had ulterior motives.” “Not Sean?” “You can never be too careful.” We got in a truck and Jason dropped me at my car. “Tomorrow stop where I did.” “Thanks Jason and thank for not being a dick the whole night.” “It’s a pleasure but I can’t promise anything for tomorrow night.” “Yes, I hear you.” I walked to my car and got in Jason waited until I drove away before he drove, we went different directions when we got out of the parking area. Which was good or else I would have thought he was following me. I got home just after 3 am, I was so tired, I kicked off my shoes at the door, undressed as I walked to my bedroom and fell onto the bed. I don’t even think I was awake for a second before I passed out.
I woke up the following morning at 11 am, it felt like a truck ran over me, but it’s because I’m not use to working and this is something I need to get use to and fast. First off all I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get in the shower, I was way to tired to do that last night. When I was finally done, I got in clean shorts and T-shirt and went to the kitchen to look for something to eat. I was actually hungry and not feeling sick. I grabbed the Reese’s cereal Benji bought and ate that with some milk. It was very very nice but sweet and after this breakfast I needed to go for a run. I know I was going to pick up weight with the pregnancy but I didn’t want to overdo it, so I got dressed in my running cloths put my air pods in and went for a run. I set my watch to go off when I reached 4 miles which means I would have ran 8 miles and that is a good run for me. I did my 4 miles away from home and then back home I didn’t go to far from my apartment I was still scared I get lost; I know I have people to call when I get lost but I don’t want to call anyone I want to get along by myself. And so far, so good. When I got back to the apartment I showered and got ready for work, I wanted to sit in a coffee shop or something and try and study before my shift but I was afraid if I leave here to late, I will be late for my shift which means I had to go and study closer to the Hotel. And clearly studying in the Bar won’t work because Davi and Ashley will keep on bothering me.
When I was showered and ready for work, I packed my bag and put my water bottle in my bag. I need to remember to drink it tonight, I also threw a few Reese’s in my bag. I grabbed my bag with my books which I haven’t opened since I’m here which was a problem, I got in my Audi and drive to the Hotel. I was looking for a Starbucks close to the Hotel to go and sit and work. Luckily for me there was one on the corner. I could park my car where Jason showed me and walked to the Starbucks. I ordered myself a cup of tea, because caffeine is not good for the baby as well as a Blueberry muffin. I got a seat at the back of the shop packed out all my books and laptop. I set my alarm for 6 pm, I wanted to make sure I don’t get so involved in my studies that I don’t check the time and then I’m late for work. And as soon as I got my tea and muffin I started with my law books. Someone came to ask me if I wanted something else as well which means I was staying a bit long in the Starbucks. I ordered another tea and looked at the time it was past 5 already. Law was just so interesting to me that I lose track of everything around me when I’m busy with studying. I really hope I can make a plan to finish my last semester, maybe I should swallow my pride and take John’s help but then I’ll be indebted to him and I don’t want that. “Not a good plan Jojo.”
