I was for sure ready for John to tell me Benji is paying it but then John said, “Your salary will be $25 per hour, you work 7 hour shifts, 5 days a week, which means you get plus minus $3500 per month from the Hotel and that is without tips this place is $1485 which leave you with $2015 left without tips for food and petrol and what else you need so yes this is safe and nice and you can afford it.” John said. “Oh wow. Thank you very much.” “No problem anything for you and Benji and if there is anything else you need just shout.” “Thank you, when do I start my first shift?” “When do you want to start?” “No, you need to tell me.” “Okay Monday at 7 pm.” “I’ll see you then.” “I’m going to walk John to his car I’ll be right back.” Benji said. “No worries I’ll go through what I need, if there is anything else.” “Okay.” I actually just wanted to calm the fuck down because I was so angry with him forcing a car on me but I do have a feeling I’m going to lose this battle I’m already refusing everything else from him if I refuse this one I don’t think he would take it that lightly.

I walked back to the apartment only to find Jojo standing in front of the guest bedroom door, the door was open but she was just looking into the space. When I stood behind her, I saw the room was empty. “I wondered if John told the owners that I’m expecting and that I need an unfurnished room?” She said. I touched her shoulder then kissed her on the cheek. “Maybe.” She turned around and close the door. Like if she closes the door, she didn’t have to think about it.
