Kael’s pov

I laid in bed naked as I watched her walk around, packing her things into her bags.

It was hot watching her walk around in her sexy lingerie and with each time she passed me, I slapped her ass which had her chuckling.

After a few minutes of packing, she looked up an sighed, placing her hands on her waist.

“We had our bath but somehow you have refused to dress up.”

I chuckled then leans forward. “I love seeing you naked.”

“You’ve convinced me to get back to the pack with you. If you don’t dress up, I might change my mind and stay here.”

I chuckled and nodded before getting to my feet to get ready for our journey back to the pack.

Everything went by in a blur.

We entered the car and got back to the pack, and when I got out with Selene, people cheered.

The elders soon came to me with reports I had missed last night and this morning.

“What do you mean someone burnt the healers classroom?” I asked as Dorian stepped forward and bowed with a smile.

“I take it your journey to retrieving our future Luna was a success.”

I smiled and nodded. “It was. I’m hearing reports of the healers class being burnt down. Is this true?”

“I wish it wasn’t,” he sighed. “It was…”

I raised my hand to stop him. “Whoever it was, so long as they decided to be stupid and burn down a sacred place, they should take up the responsibility of being punished for their actions.”

“Wouldn’t you want to know who it is first?” He pushed which only got me angry as Selene came to stand by my side.

“He’s already made his mind,” she said. “Let’s not talk about this now. I’m very exhausted and would love to rest.”

The beta nodded and stepped out of the way as we both entered the packhouse heading to my room.

I sat on the bed with Selene as the maids brought our bags inside before I waved them away.

With them gone, I dragged Selene into the bed and started to kiss her, my hands roaming around her breasts as she got hard nipples.

Before I could go down to suck them, she placed a hand on my head.

“Let’s not do this now. I have to go tell my family I’m back and I also have to ask beta Dorian a few questions.”

I sighed and rolled my eyes. “Now? Can’t you just spend some time with me now you’re back?”

“I will baby. But I have things to do. I’ll be back, I promise.”

I stared at her for a while before sighing and waving her away.

With a final kiss, she left me and ran off while I laid in bed to clear my head from the successful trip.

Now she was back in the pack, I had to announce my next move. I had to tell the entire pack who she was to me. It would catch everyone by surprise but this time I was sure of it. She was my full mate and no one would insult her again.



Selene’s pov

I tracked down Dorian to his study to see him talking to a guard as I entered and they turned to me.

“Selene,” he smiled, waving the guard away as I closed the door and it was just us in the room. “Shouldn’t you be with the alpha?”

“I wanted to see you… know how you are doing.”

He smiled and leaned back in his seat as I locked the door and walked to the table to lean against it, letting my cleavage show.

“Did you miss me?”

“I would be a monkeys uncle if I said I didn’t miss you,” he said. “But we have to be discreet. Things have gone wild since you and the alpha were gone. I have to finish some reports and get back on track with some meetings the alpha would not be attending.”

“What about… her?” I straightened up, seeing as my seduction had fallen flat.

“You mean the omega?”

I grimaced. “Yeah, the bitch. What about her?”

He gave me a victorious smile which told me something had happened. “You don’t have to worry about her.”

“What do you mean by that?”

He shrugged, leaning forward with a cold gaze. “She isn’t going to be a problem for you or me or anyone.”

“I just want to know what you did to her. It’s simple.”

“I might have framed her for the healers classroom incident.”

My eyes widened. On my way to his study I had heard the rumors of how charred the place was and how the entire healing class was on hold because of some terrorist incident. 

How was I supposed to know the beta had done something so harsh?

“How did you do it?” I asked him as he smiled then looked away from me. 

“I have my ways Selene. So you don’t have to worry about anything. I told you I was going to take care of her and I did. All you need to know is that she will not be a problem for you or me anymore. Now you can relax and make sure that the Alpha has the person that he has always wanted, which is you without any distractions and that would have you concentrating on your job to make sure that you become the luna of this very pack.”

I liked the way he planned all this stuff. While I had been out there running around, trying to avoid Kael, he had been making waves in just less than two days of me being gone. I was more than impressed. 

A knock came on the door as he called for the person to come in. 

I got up and opened it since I had locked it just to see Helga, one of the elder’s daughters coming into the room.

She saw me and smiled, “welcome back my lady.”

I waved at her, but the next action she took shocked me.

I closed the door behind me, and watched as she walked all the way to Dorian’s table, sitting down on his lap and kissing his lips.

This shocked me as I had not expected this to happen.

Was Dorian… cheating on me?
