Chapter 52 - Experiences

Natasha's POV

"I was delighted when you said you love beaches and you were excited to leave," Valerian told me as we walked towards the room of the yacht that he was just talking about.

"Really? Why is that?"

"I really want you to experience this— you know, spend a whole night in the yacht. It's a nice experience and feeling but too bad we are not sailing."

"It will still be the same right?"

"It will still be the same."

I smiled at Valerian's words.

Valerian opened a door, revealing a really really beautiful and spacious room.

"Wow, this the room?"

"Yes, darling."

I immediately went inside and walked around.

It's so pretty and you can see the outside through the windows of the room. It's beautiful to look out even though it's dark outside but I imagine being here and looking out of the window tomorrow.

Gosh, I will definitely do that!

"This is so nice," I said as I sat on the bed and felt the softness of the bed with both my hands.

It's so soft and it smells so good.

It's like the rooms back at the mansion except it was kind of vintage and the room here is all modern.

From all the designs and decorations— it's modern.

Valerian was really telling the truth when he said that this yacht was a new model. It shows.

I lay down on the bed and the softness of the bed quickly enveloped me that I unknowingly closed my eyes.

As I felt the silence of the place, I became intently wary of the surroundings and felt how the yacht was slowly and calmly moving. It's like floating in clouds. It must have been the waves crashing through the dock where the yacht is tied next to.

I felt the weight of the other side of the bed shift, making me open my eyes.

Valerian lay down beside me.

"Are you tired?" he asked.

I nodded.

I'm not really tired but feeling the comfort of the bed and the place-- it calmed me down and I just want to lay here and not do a thing.

"Hey," Valerian called.

I turned to my side to face him.

Valeria scooched closed to me and I laid my head on his arm.

I know that it's not entirely just the place and surroundings the reason why I feel so calm-- it's because Valerian is here with me. So close to me that I can almost hear his heartbeat.

~*~

I woke up just in time for the sun to rise. I can see the rays of the sun that are starting to curse through the window.

I could feel someone breathing beside me and I turned my head to see Valerian still lying beside me with his arm wrapped around my waist.

His eyes are closed and he looks so peaceful sleeping soundly.

I took the opportunity to look at Valerian's face because I can now see clearly his features.

I intently stared at him and noticed how long his eyelashes were, how his nose looked so perfect and centered, and how perfectly structured his jawline was. He looked like a Greek sculpture. He looked majestic.

"Good morning, darling," he suddenly spoke, making me jerk up on my stop.

Was he awake all this time?

Gosh, why did I ever think Valerian does sleep?

I swiftly moved away and cleared my throat.

"Good morning," I greeted him back. "I want to see the sunrise."

I stood up from the bed and quickly went to the bathroom before Valerian could even see my face.

I washed my face in the sink in hopes of cooling down my heated cheeks.

Gosh, Valerian must have seen me staring at him so intently, admiring how handsome he is.

That was beyond embarrassing.

I fixed myself and put on fresh new clothes before I went out of the bathroom.

I just wore a white button-down shirt and short shorts to match with the beachy summer vibes.

I'm really glad Elyse helped me with my wardrobe and she even oriented me about outfits to wear in certain places and events. It became so easy for me.

"We should go outside to the deck if you want to see the sunrise," Valerian said when I went out of the bathroom.

"The deck?" I asked.

"Yes, darling. Let's go."

Valerian went out of the room and yacht and I just followed him.

"Oh gosh." I gasped when I saw how beautiful the sun slowly rising from the deck that Valerian was talking about.

There was two sun lounger on the deck and I sat on one of them as I feast my eyes with the beauty of the sun slowly lurking behind the beautiful ocean.

"This is breathtaking," I complimented as I smiled widely.

Valerian sat beside me. "Just like you are, darling."

I turned to face him and I saw how handsome he was under the sun illuminating his face.

He looks majestic.

I stared at Valerian intently for a solid second before cupping his face and kissing him on the lips, not being able to contain myself.

We shared a kiss for a minute before I pulled my face away from him, breaking off our kiss.

"Oh, how I love it when you do that, Natasha." He breathed deeply.

I chuckled.

"There are more beautiful sunsets at the place we're going to, you will surely love it, baby."

"Really? I'm so excited to go."

"Then shall we?"

I smiled from ear to ear upon hearing what Valerian just said.

Oh gosh, finally!

I'm excited to see him drive this yacht.

"You ready?" he asked.

I nodded immediately. "Since last night."

Valerian chuckled. "Not after this."

Valerian pulled me close to him and kissed me on the lips. But this time, with much more desire and passion. He deepened our kiss and the next thing I knew, I was already laying down the sun lounger.

"Valerian. . ." I called his name as I giggled, couldn't help the sensation I felt when his kisses went from my lips down to my neck.

My eyes suddenly widened when I saw some people at the dock and port. They weren't looking at us and seems like they don't even notice us here but knowing there are people around and Valerian is here kissing me and almost sucking my soul out of my body is enough to make me feel uncomfortable.

"Valerian, stop." I softly pushed Valerian's head away from my neck.

He stopped and looked at me. "Why, darling?"

"There are people around," I told him as I pursed my lips.

"Oh," he blurted out. "I'm sorry, here let me." Valerian started to button my shirt again.

Oh gosh, I didn't even notice that he already unbuttoned my shirt! This devil is fast but he is way faster when it comes to things like this.

"Shall we take this inside then?" he asked, amusement is visible in his tone.

I playfully rolled my eyes. "Let's go, then."

Valerian quickly stood up and held my hand.

We went back inside the yacht and just when he was about to drag me to the bedroom, I stopped him.

"Nah-uh, we should leave now," I told him.

Gosh, I know I agreed to 'take it inside' but I am more than excited to see him drive the yacht and excited to go to the place he was talking about.

We have all the time later to do whatever he wants.

"Right now?"

I nodded. "Yes, now. I want to leave now."

I want to give myself a pat on the back for showcasing much confidence in talking to Valerian like this.

"Okay, darling."

I was more than surprised when Valerian agreed.

Wow.

Is this really Valerian?

The Valerian Fenrir I know would tell me not to tell him what to do but look at him now.

Look at how the tables turned.

I'm the one giving the orders now and he's the one obeying.

Talk about changes.

Valerian did truly obey me because we went to the engine room of the yacht.

"This is beautiful but I don't understand a thing," I thought out loud, as I stared at the steering wheel and everything beside it.

I heard Valerian chuckle beside me. "I can teach you how."

"I would love that." I can't help but giggle.

Valerian went to the front the got the comms, he radioed getting us ready to sail.

Just a few minutes later, we are good to go.

"You should take a seat, darling," Valerian said.

"Why?" I questioned.

Well, I just stand beside him, watching and listening to everything he does and say.

Does he not want me beside him?

"You might get sick if you're standing up," he replied.

"Oh, okay." I sat on the chair not too far away from him.

"Are you comfortable there?" Valerian asked.

I nodded. "I'm fine here."

"Good girl."

I bit the insides of my cheeks.

Valerian started the engine and the next thing I knew we were already sailing at the sea.

"Do you feel fine? Not feeling sick?" Valerian asked when I stood up and walked towards him.

He was busy and focused on the steering wheel controlling the yacht but he had all the time to ask me all of his questions.

"Yes, I'm fine," I answered.

I love how Valerian's treatment of me doesn't make me feel like he is insinuating that I'm weak, rather I feel cared for and comforted.
