Shocking News

"A letter for you, Miss." The officer left after he handed Rose the letter. The girl with a neglected physical condition, after a night of crying and barely able to close her eyes, stood with a limp body and shaking hands to receive the envelope. Rose opened the brown envelope and read the letter from social services. Her hands trembled and her body immediately fell to the cold floor. Rose's eyes looked empty, blank stares directed straight as if they were about to penetrate the wall in front of her. Rose froze for a moment in the whirlpool of silence she created. The woman's soul looks very empty. She was shocked to receive the news she had just read. The attitude of the beautiful girl of Asian and Mexican descent made Dulce, an immigrant from Chile, restless. "What happened Rose?" From the direction of the kitchen Dulce rushed over to Rose who was sitting on the floor. Dulce, who didn't get an answer, reached for the letter in Rose's hand. The middle-aged woman's brown eyes widened, as she struggled to read the English words. "How is that possible? They just brought Kenzie in yesterday." Dulce sat limply by Rose's side. "At least they should have given you at least a month. How could they have the heart to decide so quickly to let Kenzie be adopted by someone else." "Rose…" Dulce shook Rose's shoulder. "You have to do something, Rose." Rose was still limply silent despite Dulce's repeated shaking of her body. The woman's consciousness was still surfing into the realm of the void. The call of the slightly fat woman seemed to echo away from her. "Rose, wake up! We have to do something. You have to do something, otherwise we'll lose Kenzie forever." Dulce panicked seeing Rose who was still stunned. "What should I do," Rose signed weakly. Her gaze was vacant at Dulce. The girl's spirit seemed to disappear along with the news she received. After her struggle all this time and her persistence, in the end Rose had to lose Kenzie through the state apparatus. "Rose! You are our backbone and hope, if you give up then all our hopes will also disappear." Dulce tried to cheer him up, though he didn't even know what to do. "If there was Ryan, what would he do?" Rose muttered the name of her youngest sister who was currently working on a cruise ship. Ryan is a good young man and never has any prejudice against other people. The young man had also advised Rose to reconcile with Robert, because after all that man was Kenzie's real father. "Roberts…" Rose sighed before then trying to stand up with her weak body. The woman took out her cell phone and looked for Robert's name on the list of names. She just realized that she didn't save the man's phone number. Rose hurriedly grabbed the bag and immediately ran towards the bus stop. Rose with her bus headed to the hospital. She hoped that the man would be easy to find there. For a moment Rose remembered when Robert kept her in the apartment, the woman's feelings began to suspect, if all of this was one of Robert's plans to snatch Kenzie from her. One day in captivity, leaving her unable to do anything to protect Kenzie and Romeo during the search for immigrants. Rose growled in annoyance, but couldn't do anything about it. Her current position is a threat and her family is in danger of being torn apart. "How can I account for all this to Ryan and Ruby?" She did not realize he had arrived at the hospital owned by the Robert Miller family. Rose rushed to the reception to inquire about the well-known neurosurgeon. "Is Doctor Robert Miller around?" "Doctor Robert Miller usually doesn't practice on Saturdays." "I don't want to consult about illness, but I have something important to tell him." Rose looked expectantly at the officer who was looking at her questioningly. "In that case, you can find him at his residence or call him on the cell phone. Doctor Robert Miller is not in the hospital today." "Are doctors Conrad Knight or Jasmine Miller around?" Rose ignored the hospital receptionist who looked at her in surprise. "They're both on leave and haven't been back in about a month." That answer made Rose weaker. Rose left and returned to the bus stop. This time she headed to the apartment of the man who had once held him captive. The beautiful scenery along the road showing the waves crashing on the beach, didn't make the woman move "You're cruel, Robert. How can you take it this way …" Rose sighed wearily. More than forty-five minutes by city bus, Rose finally arrived at Robert's apartment. The girl looked at the luxurious multi-storey building doubtfully. Her heart was reluctant to meet the man, but she realized that it was the only way to save Kenzie. Hesitantly Rose stepped into the lobby, she stopped in front of reception, because she needed access to get to Robert's apartment upstairs. The woman hoped that Robert could be found this time. "Could you take me to see doctor Robert Miller?" The female receptionist looked at Rose with disdain. A simple woman who dares to seek the existence of a famous doctor, of course, is only a poor woman who wants to ask for help. "I can't take you without His permission, Miss." "Please tell Dr. Robert Miller if Rose needs to see him," Rose said pleadingly. "But--" "It's about life and blood, Miss, please help me and I'm sure Doctor Robert will thank you." Rose looked at the young girl with bright make-up in front of her. He tried to reassure the girl that his efforts would not be in vain. Rose couldn't wait to see Robert, because every time wasted was Kenzie crying. "Okay wait a minute." The girl picked up the phone and dialed Robert's apartment room number. "Sorry, Miss, Doctor Robert isn't in his room." Rose became weak hearing this. "Do you know doctor Robert's cell phone number?" Robert's question was only answered with a shake of his head. Rose unsteadily left the magnificent building with a lobby as luxurious as a five-star hotel. The girl looked around, hoping she could see Robert. Rose almost gave up when the thought of the Millers' main house flashed. "Yeah… I have to go. At least even if I don't meet Robert, maybe one of the man's family can help Kenzie." Rose walked quickly towards the bus stop. The girl almost got into the public transportation, but she didn't want to. Rose prefers a taxi that will drain her money so that she can get to her destination quickly.
